I wish i could leave zero stars. this place is an absolute scam. STAY AWAY!!!! They will not cancel your account and attempt to charge you more until you take them to court. my agreement was completed. i had a one year contract which i finished. i cancelled my account and moved out of state. your nam shows up similar to my new gym and i didnt notice i was still being charged for over a year. i called to cancel again and was told i had to pay more. your manager looked up my account saw i havent been there in over a year and told me just let the extra $75 go to collections then i wont have to pay.

The gym is upheld by two incredible people, it has always been super clean and peaceful. As a member you fit right in because everyone minds their own business but if you ever need anything or want to talk just about anyone is very happy to engage and interact. I literally always see the gym being cleaned and each member ensures they clean their station. It’s definitely a common rule and trending since when you see so many people actually wipe their equipment it makes others follow. Anytime has a lot of versatile equipment and is open 24/7 by a keycard that you may also have on your AF app or Apple wallet which I have it on, makes entering very secure, easy and safe. The gym has showers as well, super useful. Overall you cannot go wrong it’s a very effective gym to make your dreams reality. Thank you

No one was there during staffed hours. Called twice and left a message on the third call and no one has gotten back to me. Wasted a class pass credit to try and come here. If you have class pass use this business with caution. So unprofessional. Told I wouldn’t be charged a class pay credit per the response below and that was not the case I was indeed charged.

Getting back into exercise after being too sedentary and wanted to find a gym that was comfortable and not intimidating that would support me in my goals and I have found it. Staff are friendly, helpful but not pushy and I have never had to wait for the equipment I want to use. Very pleased with my membership so far and would absolutely recommend this gym!!

I signed my husband up for a one day pass to come check out the facility to see if we wanted to sign up. It’s required that you make an appointment for this, he shows up at his designated appointment time and waits 15 minutes. Then the manager who the appointment was scheduled with came out and said it would be another 15 minutes or so. He got up and left. If you cannot show up to your appointments on time - don’t require them. Waste of time!

I am actually really sad to be writing this because I had been an AF member for 2 yrs & recently had to part ways due to Devon & the customer service level they dont offer.

I inquired (in person) about pausing my account in May & now Devon, nor anyone at the club, has an recollection of it at all. I got charged all summer with fees without knowing & now had my account of $282 sent to collections because my account was not frozen when it was supposed to.

The staff DOES NOT answer the phone & when I mentioned this concern Devons response was "well we have a voicemail". Well you also GET PAID to answer the phone & respond to customer complaints. Kira (i think is her name) is nice but runs her "semi private" training sessions in the ONLY yoga space in the entire gym & then takes up the entire room so no one else is comfortable to go in & use it & you'll end up stuck doing your exercises in the middle of the open floor in front of everyone trying to do their own exercises with actual equipment.

So save yourself the stress & effort & I suggest LA Fitness literally right down the road. You get a huge lap pool, hot tub, locker room with plunge, free classes & space so that the trainers programs dont interfere with other customers experience. Did i mention LA offers all this AND is cheaper per month 👀

The CT location I initially signed up at is AMAZING & I've been to many other locations on my travels & have been greeted & treated very nicely but at this specific Tempe location, the price & LACK of customer service really isnt worth the "small, intimate gym setting" they claim they offer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE....go to another location or take advantage of the gyms in the area that actually offer something with your membership!

Mr Devon ( manager of tempe branch ) is an honest & responsible person.
He has a really nice social interaction with people. His social communication is excellent.
This is my first time that I visit this branch , but I really liked his attitude.

i dont think it does classes as there is no studio and theres no training area. but i think its assumed that a 24/7 personal access gym has members who know what they need.

I was referred to Chris Schuck as a personal trainer best suited to in meet my training needs.

The referral was spot on! Chris is attentive to detail regarding the results clients are looking to obtain. His nonjudgmental, encouraging and professional approach in meeting me where I was (6yrs since serious training) was instrumental in the return of my self confidence in my abilities.

The restrooms are filthy. Cigarette butts lay at the entry of the doorway on the ground. I asked repeatedly for the rest rooms to be clean, but my complaints went unheard. The interior of the gym isn’t bad but the antibacterial wipes are constantly empty, and are unable to clean the equipment for use.

Doesn’t honor ActiveandFit memberships. I was turned away since they were almost at full capacity and I wasn’t “a paying customer”. Whomever I spoke with was extremely short and dismissive about the whole thing and when brought up how his gym was part of ActiveandFit he said maybe he could get me a fob in a week after speaking with management. Easier to just find another gym, there are plenty.

I wasn't going to write this but its painful having to drive by this gym everyday and not get to use it. A couple weeks ago I saw that this gym had opened back up after all the COVID shutdown and til this day is the only 24 hour gym open. I used this gym awhile back when they had the 1$ promotion and fell in love cause its walking distance from my home. I wanted to sign back up again when the doors were open to the public and this time i was gonna pay my year in advance. Though there was one small term that made me hesitant was that i couldnt bring a guest with me. Because i have this friend who in fact isnt a certified trainer but an avid gym goer that i would shadow around the gym. So i just sign a week membership for 60$ since they werent doing guest passes. And i workout super late at night so the second time i visit the gym my friend comes with me. Though i wasnt suppose too the sign on the front door says a warning of a 50$ fee if i broke the rule. and since i worked out super late i kind of saw it as his membership to the club and no one else was there besides like 1 other person so we werent harming or bothering anyone but doing our workout. my buddy indeed liked the gym like i knew he would and went back during business hours to sign up for his membership. and this is the part that frustrates me, after that night my key fob wouldnt work for the remainder of my 7 days. at first i thought it was a computer glitch but the next day i tried again it still wouldnt work. so i wait for business hours to call them and the guy that signed me up answered the phone and he was just waiting to go off on me to tell me in the most rudest way that he was keeping my money and to never come back. appalled i called back a second time to get a clearer explanation of why i could never go back. but he then says hes the manager there and i couldnt talk to any owner about this and if this is really IT with this gym? Like i really didnt mean to do this with cruel intentions and i am sorry for breaking that rule but I guess i dont really much power to do anything about it. it just doesnt feel rightt to me...

This has been my favorite Anytime Fitness that I’ve been to so far in Arizona, especially with layout. Even if it’s “busy” you never feel like you’re going to run into anyone. With the exception of one guy, members and staff are all respectful and helpful.

Equipment selection is pretty good. Among the many staple items, things that have stood out to me: 1 Full Rack w/ platform & bumpers, 2 Half Racks, a Smith Machine, and another Squat Rack in the turf/functional fitness side; Dumbbells that go up to 100-110 I believe; Hack squat & leverage squat machines; assault bikes & rowers; KBs up to 80#+; wall balls; monkey bars; sled & ropes....
