I tried to give this gym the benefit of the doubt after joining but it quickly became clear their only focus is $$$ and not the kids, which is sad. They raised us the first month after we joined, which should have been red flag #1. But after paying the $99 annual fee, I felt like I needed to give it at least 5-6 months, which was a bad choice. As time went on, instructors continued to turn over, and the classes felt very rinse and repeat. The gym is always packed with multiple classes going on simultaneously. After 6 months there, I’ve seen little to no progress with my child, and see the coaches in warm up often chit chatting instead of focusing on the kids. No one ever gives you a progress update either. They close down a week for almost every break and if your class is on a holiday like Thanksgiving they cancel but don’t allow a makeup. When I called to ask about a makeup, they say no and use some lame excuse that there are some months with
extra weeks. They were closed during summer and fall so there’s 2 already. My kids are in other activities that don’t shut down nearly as much. If her class were on Tuesday or Wednesday she’d have it. It’s wrong and the fact they wouldn’t give kids on those days a makeup speaks to their lack of care for the kids and their improvement. All they care about is money. No customer service whatsoever. They say they’re transparent about the dates when you sign but I went back and looked at my forms and there’s nothing about the closure dates. I only got them in the emails after I joined. If you want an overpriced, subpar activity spot for your kids, this is the place. If not, look elsewhere. Beyond disappointed in coaching and ownership here, but they don’t even care or else they’d address parent concerns with more tact and kindness.

Love this place. Nice and big, and they really challenge my kids. I have a daughter who does gymnastics and a son in Ninja. They both love it. Only wish they had more at classes for homeschool parents. 🤷♀️ Besides that, I do recommend them for all levels.

*DO NOT RECOMMEND*. Huge safety concern. See photos.
The classes are large. The coaches are not well trained and the management does not take responsibility.
My 7 year old daughter was new to gymnastics when she joined. I was taking a video when the teacher let go and my daughter fell directly onto her head. After that class, she was scared to attend. When I reached out to management, the Director Claire, responded that I signed a waiver and this happens. This is not acceptable.

Amazing staff, from the front desk to the coaches. My daughter looks forward in seeing and working with her coaches to improve and learn new skills. The coaches work with each athlete to develop their skills and making sure they are ready to perform in competitions.

Arizona Dynamics has been a great experience for us so far. Other gyms don't let your child compete until they're in higher levels. These last couple years of competing have been so valuable for our daughter. I also appreciate they only focus on women's gymnastics so they're more honed in on skills and proper form.

So thankful for the environment, coaching, and overall experience at AZD! My kids love being at AZD. The coaches are amazing, owners are stand up, and the kids are supportive and loving to each other! From preschool, recreational, Devo, to team I’ve had kids in almost all departments. Camps this past summer were a blast! Thankful for a place like AZD!

Worst place I have ever taken my kid. The owner Kim is very rude to both the parents and kids in class - and wouldn’t doubt it if she’s rude to everyone she meets and comes across. We had a different coach every class which tells me they aren’t a well run business if they are either firing coaches every week or coaches are quitting every week. If you want a place where it feels like family and you see the same coaches then this is not the place for you.

The ownership at this gym is nothing short of a nightmare. The coaches take their lead from the owner and clearly no value placed on children. Its all about the dollar. Parents are told there is an open door but there is nothing like that here. Kids are held back, no progress can be seen for kids for long periods of time, they purposefully enter meets that their kids with their very easy routines will win. Makes the kids feel like that's normal til they get to state and see what the other kids at their level are doing. They have too many kids to push forward so they keep everything simple so the coaches don't have to do much. Kids get discouraged. My step daughter did! Then when they change gyms they see what real coaching, real support and real progress feels like. If your child has any desire to compete this is not the place. This is common industry knowledge apparently as all other gyms we spoke to said this is the norm. They are known to hold back moving kids up in levels to ensure the kid gets good scores. Everyone is a valedictorian in high school if the tests they give are from 2nd grade. Easy to get straight A's. Same idea here. They can all do well if they do elementary level skills. They do the very minimum requirements for level and this is obvious at state and national events.
Avoid this place if you are wanting your kids to have a positive experience.

There are better options out there. The coaches are not concerned with the children it's clear they aren't interested in making this a fun environment for kids. They run it as a gymnastics mill, too many kids and no attention to the kids mental state. The kids skills are held back and it shows at meets. Very little progression due to the lack of attention to the kids. Teaching kids to ace old skills while the other teams are allowing other kids to progress according to their abilities. No smiles anywhere. Lots of tears. If you want your kid to have no joy this would be an OK place. But if you want to have a positive experience look elsewhere. Not every kid is going to be Olympic material for sure, but a sport needs to be fun. Oh and no teamwork and comraderie is taught. 6 year Olds bullying other 6 year Olds, no cheering on team mates. Very discouraging environment. Moved my kid to another gym.

My kid has been in gym for 6 months. She has had a different coach almost every week. She needs one skill to move to the next level ,but gets zero consistent coaching so she has been in the same class. I repeat zero consistency , poor coaching - this gym just wants your money. Switching to a new gym in September

My daughter loves attending gymnastics at this facility! I enrolled her here after doing some research and reading through tons of reviews and am happy to say that we have been beyond satisfied with the time she has spent here so far. She has been learning so much in the few classes that she has attended so far and we look forward to seeing what else she will learn as she continues her time here .

My daughter loves this place. The teachers and experience have been great. We are moving to another state or my kids would still be going here. My only complaint would be the manager at the front desk. The experience on our last day was the only bad one we’ve had. She’s pretty rude and maybe doesn’t realize how she comes across. Two years of good to be diminished by the attitude and language of one seems harsh- but I did not appreciate that.

Really great gym with great teachers and a great program. No matter the age of your child, even at the youngest age, they work at helping your child develop both skills and confidence on the floor. 😊 My daughter has a blast and I’m looking forward to watching her grow in this program and be trained by the best of the best as long as she has interest in gymnastics!

Front office staff is friendly, which is nice. Gym is just so overly crowded all the time. We relocated from gold metal gymnastics, since we move to this area. This facility does not even compare remotely in terms of the training your children will get. When I would watch my daughter it's just a cluster of so many kids at one time in a class, and so many classes going at once. I don't know how any of the kids focus. My daughter had been out of gymnastics for a little while and was just getting back in, which I explained to them. Most of the gym teachers are young teenagers and and are not very patient. At least not the one that my daughter got. When she fell off a beam one time she was told to do a certain amount of push ups. Our experience is, they do not critique positively and do not have the skilled coaches you would expect at other facilities. My daughter loved gymnastics before and started to hate it from being at this facility. I couldn't get her to go.I pulled her out and she is much happier at another gymnastics facility.

Awful experience with my 4.5 year old. When we got to the gym- no one greeted us or explained what the process was for new students. My daughter has never done gymnastics and was put in a large warm-up group with girls twice her size and little direction. The teacher asked my child to do a cartwheel and swing from bar independent, again never having done gymnastics before. I shared my concern with the floor manager, Matt, and he never followed up on my concerns during the class.
Overall, terrible customer experience and would recommend against sending young or kids new to gymnastics. I felt bad for my daughter watching her struggle with the lack of instruction.

This gym is very unprofessional and expensive. It doesn't worth the price. My girls were keept seeing different coaches almost each class. Coaches are not professional most of them are collage students even you can see high schoolors. I am glad that I took my girls back to their previous gym which worth driving 20 mins.

We absolutely love this gym! Our daughter was in physical therapy for months before starting here due to abnormally tight tendons. Within a month and a half of starting here with Coach Allie and Coach Maddie, our daughter no longer needed physical therapy. Her coaches were compassionate and great at pushing her in a supportive and empowering environment. Our daughter is now obsessed with her coaches and gymnastics and is so excited to be part of the upcoming DEVO team! Thank you to her coaches for making her experience so great!

My step-daughter has gone to this gym for awhile and we've loved it. The coaches were always nice and we enjoyed that they did showcases in the spring and fall. With that said, how they have handled COVID-19 has been extremely disappointing! Even with a city and county mask mandate in place, the employees did not wear masks or require parents to wear masks. I understand it is difficult for children to wear masks in physically active tasks; however, none of the coaches wore masks. They also said that they were increasing cleanings but we have yet to see a significant change while we have been there. They did have smaller classes for a little while but it wasn't long before the classes were packed again. It is very sad that this business is more concerned with money than protecting their clients during this pandemic. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone looking to provide a safe "normal" activity for their kids during this time.

Great family place that I hadn't been to in years. My son started taking Ninja classes, which helps with coordination and athleticism supported by energetic young coaches that encourage whole-heartedly and celebrate the accomplishments as they come. Deb always cares for their clients. I'd recommend checking them out for gymnastics, Ninja or whatever they offer.

We have a been a part of Dynamics for the last 4 years and have nothing but good things to say. The coaches are knowledgeable & firm but encouraging. The girls are being taught the value of team & celebrating one another’s accomplishments. We love the atmosphere & culture that’s been built there & would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a place where your child can grow as an athlete and as a person.

Arizona Dynamics has been such a great place for my daughter. She is on the developmental team and the coaches have been so wonderful. She has learned so much and continues to learn new skills. The bell is a great new feature to allow athletes to show off their new skills to everyone in the gym and they love it! The staff is so helpful and I am always in the know through their communication. We LOVE AZ Dynamics.

Do not take your child here. Coaches are very nice but management is AWFUL. I've had double payments taken out and not refunded (only credited for the next month) and my child put in the wrong class on 2 separate occasions despite my questioning. Our class changed with NO notice because "there phone wasn't working". Save yourself the headache and money!!

We were very disappointed. Coaches could care less about my daughter. Super disorganized too. Showed up several times to a cancelled class or a new class with no one even anticipating my daughter that day. The final straw was when a new coach demanded she try a skill independently that she wasn't ready for. My daughter landed on her head. Couldn't get out of here fast enough!!

My daughter has attended Az Dynamics for 4 years 3 of those years were gymnastics, she decided to do the all star cheer. she was placed on Junior level 1. she had a rough start of the season due to ADHD.
the coaches had conversations with just me and we worked together to get my daughter to suceed. The second half of the season I had alot of praise from Kylie the head coach about how great my daughter was doing.
during the season there was a mother who micro managed the team and had put her comments to anyone that would listen about other kids and families, placing judgement where she had no business doing this with out knowing the families story. she would sit there with an excel spread sheet and give to coaches on kids attendance. ( i thought the coaches were very capiable of doiing their job!)
well the new season starts, Kylie is out due to being blessed with a healthy baby, a new director comes in!!
My daughter did try outs made level 2, after the first prcatice, out of left field Courtny the "NEW DIRECTOR" asks to speak to me and my daughter. during this conversation I was told that 8 yes 8 families were struggling with the fact that my daughter has made the team, WOW in front of my daughter!!! it is sad to me because i know that this has come down to the one parent that runs Arizona Dynamics.
needless to say she had NO documentation of what she had accused my daughter of doing during the first season. she also could not have talked to Kylie my daughters past coach, or this would not have happened.
what should be FUN, turned into a nightmare. feeling very uncomfortable we have switched teams.
everyone wants whats best for their child its just sad that adults have to be bullies! someone they should be looking up too, instead they get bullied by them. my heart breaks for my daughter as she has struggled with the conversation she will remember for the rest of her life.
