British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside LA Fitness, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

I feel well very well cared for at British swim school . I missed my son’s class and was able to get in easily another time . The instructor Sara teaches the strokes like they are meant to be done and safety is their main concern so I appreciate that. They care and it shows . Will probably enroll my son in private lessons as well as group lessons bc I’m happy and my son really enjoys it . Thank you British swim school !

We've seen huge progress with our daughter since starting BSS. She always loved the water, but now as a much stronger swimmer, she is more confident in the water. All the instructors and staff are great, friendly and professional. They tweak lessons to each child's needs. We especially adore Riley!

We’ve been attending British Swim School for the past two months with our 3.5-year-old, and we’ve had a wonderful experience. In just a short time, we’ve seen noticeable improvement in her comfort level in the water—especially with back floats, which she used to be hesitant about.
The instructors are all incredibly patient, encouraging, and attentive. They take the time to make each child feel supported while building strong foundational swim skills in a fun, safe environment. I highly recommend British Swim School to any family looking for a positive, nurturing swim program for their little ones.

I can’t believe that I finally learned how to swim! And as an adult! I have conquered my fear of the water thank you to all the instructors that have taught me at the British Swim School (Addison, Sarah, Shauna and Mackenzie). Everyone in this swim school even the ones that aren’t teachers (Taylor) are so nice, friendly and professional. They don’t just make you feel like a student, but they do make you feel like a part of their community as well! I do more than 100% recommend the British Swim Schools in Chandler and Gilbert, AZ :)

The owner and her staff are AMAZING people who have a positive, kind and enthusiastic manner. I'd recommend this school for anyone, but especially people with timid kids who need that extra special personal one-on-one love and attention. They're definitely going to treat you right and help anxious beginners.
By the way, if that one weird review is still up- you might have to scroll and see, because it's kind of funny- I'm totally cool having a swim school "under a British" lol. Remember, kids, learn to swim – it's our patriotic duty. ❤️😄

My two, twin grandkids are in lessons with British Swim and it has been an amazing experience! The staff are all attentive with the children, as well as the parents needs and questions. They take pride in what they do and how they do it! I highly recommend British Swim!!!!
