British swim school has been AMAZING!!! My 3-year-old started taking swim lessons in October, and the very first lesson, she was fearful of the water and screamed for 20 minutes. Sarah and Hannah were amazing, comforting, kind, loving, and knew exactly what to do to make her feel comfortable. After only four weeks (8 lessons), my daughter is excited to go to swim class, begs to get in the water, and is now jumping in, submerging her entire body, and back-floating by herself!! What a transformation!! Thank you Sarah, Hannah, and Bella.

Our son struggled to move up for a few years when we did swim lessons through the city and this is when we met Sarah at our school's festival. Admittedly, we were a bit frustrated in the beginning because it seemed like he was progressing too slowly. What we didn't account for was that they had to undo what he had learned with the city lessons, that he has a different pace of learning than our older daughter, and that he really needed the time to feel safe and comfortable in the water and with the instructors to progress. Not because of anything they did, but because that is his personality. He is slow to warm up. They really worked with us and offered us extra lessons if he seemed to be regressing, and it took us about 6 or so months until he was ready to move onto the next set of skills. Now he is progressing more because he feels safe and comfortable with them and looks forward to his lessons! Whereas our daughter has soared through the lessons and is on her last level! We love the instructors here! They are all so kind and intentional with how they work with the kids and they really get to know your child! We love their methods of teaching and swim skills progressions and highly recommend them to anyone!

I highly recommend this swimming school for all ages. Ms Sarah and her staff are excellent coaches! My daughter is special need and our instructor Ms McKenzie does great job with her!! My other daughter also enrolled to this swim school and she says mom I love this swim school and my instructor teaches so well and she is very patience while she teaches all the water safety. I am looking forward for my girls to continue learn more and pass Until they reach to the next level!!

Wonderful swimming school!

They offer both group and private classes, and the private sessions are tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. We selected the private lessons for my kid after trying the group activities.
The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and make learning enjoyable for swimmers of all ages.
The facility is always clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for practice. Scheduling is flexible, and the staff are always friendly and responsive.
I see great improvement and confidence in my kid after every lesson—highly recommended!

Absolutely love this swim school. The instructors are all excellent and they are able to provide classes for all ages and levels from infants to adults. My kids absolutely love all the coaches and are excited to swim with them each week. We shopped around for other schools but it came down to the instructors for us and British Swim School has THE BEST in the business. I recommend them to everyone I know.

First, I have to say that the coaches here literally taught my kids everything they know from entry-level water safety all the way to perfecting all of their strokes. Every time my children graduated to the next class, they always said they didn’t want to change Instructors because they built such a great connection with their current coach however, the next coach and each class is just as good as the last and all of these instructors are excellent coaches. They bond with the kids and the kids really enjoy working with them. I highly recommend this swimming club for all ages. My husband and I who are regular swimmers with a triathlon team even decided to take classes with some of the instructors to help us perfect our strokes and become more efficient.

Both of my children have been enrolled with BSS since it started. They had lessons previously with a different company but never seemed to excel in their learning. Once with BSS, their confidence seemed to build exponentially, they had fun, and most importantly, they learned about water safety. I have also noticed other children of all ages in both their classes and other classes that occur at the same time to have these same experiences of building confidence, having fun, and learning water safety. Given that we live in Arizona, water and pool safety is very important to us. The fact that BSS focuses on this and continually addresses it in a fun way to ensure the kids actually learn it is amazing. All children should have the opportunity to learn in this fun way as it ensures the children truly learn the skills and can recall them when there is an emergency.

You're likely reading reviews because you're wondering if BSS will be a good fit for your kiddos to learn to swim. I'm here to tell you we did the same thing when we tried EVO and looked at a couple other swim schools in Gilbert and Chandler. The good news is that your search is over because Sarah and her crew over at BSS don't just teach your kids how to swim, they refine each student's capabilities to be the best swimmer they can be.

We wanted our boys to be able to go to the beach, or a pool, and have complete faith they weren't going to drown if we looked away for two seconds. After starting the summer with BSS, we kept going each week, once a week, for a year, and ended up turning our oldest in to a full-on competitive swimmer, with his little brother following closely behind.

Both my boys are now in Colorado, as part of a swim team after we moved. Because of the techniques they learned at BSS, they're winning some of their heats. But that's not the best part. The best part is that they both got to really love swimming and looking forward to their lessons. Sure there's days where your kiddos won't be feeling like they want to go take a swim lesson, but that's where Sarah and her crew can sense that and work with your kiddos to turn that attitude around. They always encourage your kids, but they're always looking at what to tweak with their strokes.

We miss Sarah and her crew over at BSS after we moved to Colorado. But the foundation they created for more boys has helped them excel on their swim team here in Colorado. We loved what they did for our boys, and you will love seeing your kiddos excel under their teachings.

This swim program is unparalleled! We spent time with my little ones at aqua tots and lifetime and there is no comparison. Hands down the staff cares from the moment you walk through the door your children is loved and learns!! Wow! Words really can't explain how much i Appreciate this swim school! My son had taken swim lessons at a different swim school and hadn't learned much. Everyone of the instructors here at Brittish swim school are absolutely AMAZING! The skills and knowledge they put into each lesson is hands down the best! My son has learned more here than he did in the 2 years at a previous swim school. I cant express enough of how much work goes into teaching the kids! The owner Sara is incredible! From the moment we signed up to ever single lesson my son has taken. She goes above and beyond to make sure my son is getting the best lesson everytime! At one lesson she even got into the water to showed the class how to do the butterfly stroke. She is absolutely the BEST!! Better than all the rest!!!! British Swim School has been an amazing experience for my girls (4&7)!
Both of them previously had lessons elsewhere and were not afraid of the water, but they could not swim independently on their own.

Miss Izzy and Miss Cayla are always so patient, kind and knowledgeable. They definitely know how to teach the swim skills in a way the kids can understand and actually retain.
Miss Hannah on deck always greets us with a huge smile and friendly welcome.

The owner, Sarah, has a heart of gold and goes above and beyond to support her support her amazing team and swim families!

I highly recommend this swimming school. The owner and stuff are very responsible and easy to talk to. My son is 6 years old and has made great progress here. They assess students fairly--without raising standards just to keep them at the same level. They offers small group which is very important for young age kids and beginner. I am also excited to know they've open new location near Trader Joe( Chandler Ocotillo and Arizona Ave crossing). My son just met the new coach at new location last week and he has great experience. I really recommend trying this school .

We love British Swim school. Our kids are 6 and 8 and had been taking classes at one of the big swim schools for a few years. They were doing well, but we felt like they really needed to focus on improving their stroke so we tried British Swim school. Let me tell you, they are amazing! The small class size and great instructors make swimming fun for our kids. They have very little turnover of staff and you can tell their instructors are happy and well treated. Sarah, the owner, is one of the best teachers I have ever seen. You can tell she loves her job and loves to teach swimming to both kids and adults.

I've had my older children in various swim lessons over the years and I have been so impressed with British Swim School at the Esporta location in Chandler. From the caring nature of the staff and owner to the technique of focusing on swim safety first. My youngest daughter has progressed faster than her older siblings ever did in other swim schools. I feel so lucky to have found this place. I highly recommend!

My daughter has learned SO much at this swim school with the focus on water safety, skill and FUN! At only 3.5 years old and a couple classes per week with Izzy & Alyssa (sometimes Sarah) she can independently do so much including jumping in underwater, independent back float and back gliding 4 lengths of a lap pool independently with in water supervision. Her confidence is amazing and the owner, Sarah, and her team are responsive, supportive and so easy to work with. It’s obvious they truly care about the kids and love their trade (the choir / theater production level signing is just an added plus). The classes we used are to achieve this level of progress are 30min group classes and include one on one student and instructor time in the group environment.
