BURN Total Body Conditioning is a Megaformer studio offering Lagree Fitness in Uptown Phoenix, AZ. BURN combines the elements of Pilates, cardio, and weight training. You will strengthen, tighten, tone, and lengthen your muscles through several exercises emphasizing slow twitch muscles. The result is a workout with high intensity and very low impact on connective tissue.

The best most amazing workout for the late 50’s woman. I’ve never been stronger in my entire life!! I’ve never been able to move better in everyday life (eg. bending down and turning around to pick up a fallen pen)!! Consistency is the key and I just reached 700 classes. I often visit family in Phoenix and drop-in to classes, and I feel like I haven’t missed a beat whenever I visit. The staff is always friendly and kind. The space is clean and the reformers well kept. The classes are challenging with modification recommendations, if needed. Overall, just quality value and a great workout experience.

After my favorite local barre studio closed, I began searching for an alternative and decided to try BURN. I've done pilates in the past and even owned a reformer years ago, but wasn't sure if I'd like Lagree. I'm in the middle of my 2-week trial and can now say "I get it."

This workout is LEGIT. I love that I get the muscle-shaking I craved from barre but Lagree takes it to another level.

What I love:
--the slow intensity and deep focus required on each movement (helps clear my mind while amping up results)
--efficient 45 minute class
--variety of exercises: each workout is different and we don't have to suffer through the same rote, choreographed warm-up and stretching routine every time like some barre classes. I prefer stretching on my own.
--studio is clean and bright with beautiful natural light
--plenty of air circulation and overhead fans during class
--ample class times for scheduling

I'm already feeling stronger and more fit I and leave each class with a clearer mind and quivering muscles. Thanks BURN!

An amazing studio - I’m visiting family in Phoenix and typically take Solidcore and SLT on the east coast, but Burn completely blows those studios out of the water!!! Burn is a great mix of calming slow traditional “pilates” type energy mixed with the intensity everyone wants from Lagree. Whenever I come back to Phoenix, I will be at Burn everyday. I’ve tried a variety of instructors and everyone is great, and the studio gets beautiful natural light.

I've tried multiple pilates studios in Phx metro but most didn't quite push my muscles enough - until Burn! This studio uses a method that truly builds muscle and is challenging no matter how great of shape you are in. The instructors are lovely and well informed and deliver a totally-worth-in session every time! Don't be scared if you're a beginner tho - they will guide you thru and then you, too, will become addicted. :)

Great Lagree studio in the heart of Phoenix! The studio itself is very clean with well-spaced equipment and good mirror viewing access. Standard bathroom and water refill station are available. I do not believe they have a shower. Grip socks mandatory for classes but they sell a lot of cute socks if you forget yours or don’t have a pair. The instructors are nice and friendly. My only few critiques are that I wish they offered more form correction and encouraged slow counts during moves. It would also be nice if they made classes 50 mins and offered a 5
Minute guided group stretch at the end. Lastly, no healthcare worker, first responder, teacher, or student discounts available which is a bummer and probably loses a lot of potential clients.
Overall a great spot that will leave you shaking and trembling and feeling accomplished!

So, after attending over 500 classes in the last almost 3 years, I've decided it's time to write a review. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST total body workout for a middle aged woman (unfortunately, that's what I am these days--closer to 60 than I want to admit). However, because of Lagree I am stronger, fitter, and in the best shape of my life!! I started my fitness journey in my early 50's with a goal of "ageing well." I did several things before finding, and being able to do, Lagree. However, now that I've found this, I don't do anything else. And, I believe that with Lagree I am achieving my goal! Thinking back to my first classes, I was confused by the machine and directions (yes, I'm the one facing the back when the move is facing towards the mirrors), and had to take several breaks and easier modifications. But, with sticking to it and attending several times a week, I can do almost the whole class without taking a break and I can do some of the more difficult modifications (unfortunately, the side plank still brings me to my knees). I have experienced several instructors over the years and have LOVED every single one (although I really only LIKE Rebecca-he, he). I cannot say enough about this COMLETELY AMAZING Lagree studio and the method for getting in shape, getting fit, and getting STRONGER!

Oh, and I almost forgot, it is the best stress reliever for all of life's bombardments-big and small. I have to keep going to keep my stress level manageable!! (Did I mention I have a teenage foster daughter? Oh my!)

I recently had the pleasure of taking my first Lagree Pilates class at BURN, and it was nothing short of phenomenal! From the moment I stepped into the studio, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Ivana, our instructor, was not only highly skilled and attentive, but also incredibly motivating, making every minute of the class enjoyable.

The Lagree Pilates method is unlike any workout I've ever experienced. It's a perfect blend of strength, endurance, and core work that left me feeling both challenged and invigorated. The use of the Megaformer machine added an extra dimension to the workout, targeting muscles I didn't even know existed.

Lagree is the best workout I have ever done for both strength and overall fitness. The instructors at Burn design the workouts to be challenging for even the highest fitness level, but also explain how to modify each exercise to accommodate anyone with less fitness experience. Your body will be worked harder than you thought possible in just 45 minutes. Plus, the high intensity/low impact approach gets noticeable results without the injury risk other forms of strength exercise have. If you are thinking about trying Lagree at Burn, definitely do it.

Signed up for the 2 week unlimited, and now I’m looking at coming back when my 2 weeks are up! Favorite instructors so far are Sara and Jennifer. Both are very nice and overall amazing! The studio here and in Scottsdale, both are very clean and welcoming. Even though it was hard my first class, I’ve noticed doing more and more it’s becoming easier in the sense of understanding what I am doing and how to get the best workout I can. Can’t wait for more classes!

I signed up for the 2 week unlimited trial. In under a week I’ve gone 5 times. It’s a 45 min class of high intensity movements. Lagree prides itself on low impact with the fastest results and within the first weeks the results were noticeable. It’s a fun fast paced class that really makes your crave the BURN 🔥

As someone who hates the gym and working out in general, I took a leap to try this studio - it's near my house and I was always intrigued by pilates (although I've never done it). I quickly found out that Lagree is NOT pilates, but similar in that is uses a machine/reformer. Lagree is incredibly hard, but it's SO worth it. One of the best parts is how small the classes are (12 or so people, vs 40 people at Orange Theory ew). The classes are only 45 minutes which feels very short, the instructors are all wonderful and take the classes themselves, and the entire workout is more like slowww, difficult, stretching. It's low impact, it's extremely slow movement, which I love because I'm lazy, but it's hitting so many muscles that your body is shaking due to how difficult it all actually is. And then it's over and you feel like a champ! It's NOT cheap, but it is worth it because I feel like it's the most efficient, safe, supportive, and quick, full-body workout I've ever done.

I have been going to BURN for 6 months and can’t get enough! It is the most well rounded and complete workout that challenges me every time. It’s funny to read a review saying athletes wouldn’t be challenge, I am myself am an ex-professional dancer and am thoroughly challenged, often left feeling like I conquered a mountain. If your schedule is tight but you desire a workout that challenges your body without the impact, BURN is for you!!

I can confidently say these are consistently the hardest workouts I've done. I've never before had to push my muscles to muscle failure and it is INTENSE. As a newbie, I've felt a bit like a fish out of water as I'm learning the Megaformer and the Lagree "lingo." But I've stuck to it and am already feeling stronger physically and mentally! I walk out of each class feeling so much better than when I walked in.

All of the instructors I've taken classes with have been wonderful, providing encouragement and clarification when I need it. The owner, Rebecca, has reached out to me multiple times during my newbie month to check in and make sure I'm doing well. I feel valued and am so excited to have found a new community for myself! Try a class, you won't regret it!

Burn Total Body Conditioning is the most efficient and effective workout class I’ve ever done. It’s a high intensity workout over just 45 minutes comprised of mindful moves. The instructors are motivating (shout out to Rebecca, Lori, Nikki & Tiffany!!!), the equipment is dynamic, the environment is fun (not “ra-ra” annoying or a scary boot camp)...and best of all, it BURNS! Burn's Lagree Method is a game changer! Having done pretty much every type of fitness training over the years (pilates, barre, yoga, strength training, peloton, etc), I can honestly say that the Burn method is one of the BEST workouts I have ever done. It combines the best of pilates and strength-training while keeping your heart rate up and burning calories. The owner runs a fantastic team of instructors - friendly, professional, motivating and willing to make modifications to exercises if needed.

One thing I didn't expect from taking Burn classes was that it greatly reduced my chronic neck pain. I used to be at the chiropractor every other week and taking ibuprofen almost daily. Today, I go to the chiropractor maybe once every 2 months for a tune-up and live pain free. The Burn method was able to strengthen my core, improve my posture and make me all around healthier.

I highly recommend the Burn Studio! You won't be disappointed!

Since moving to Phoenix last year, I've struggled with finding a challenging workout that I love.  (I used to be hardcore into the cult of Soul Cycle in NYC. Like super hardcore.) I tried Spin here and a variety of boutique fitness classes and found it all lacking compared to the intensity, excitement, and passion of my classes in New York. I was scrolling through MindBody when I came across Burn and figured I would give it a try.  From the first class, I knew I had found the workout that I was looking for.  Burn is so challenging in every way--it is a complete body workout to the absolute max--working tiny muscles that you didn't even know that you had! Plus, every class has a different routine, so it next gets old.  Rebecca, the owner, is incredibly motivating and inspiring, pushing each student to do their personal, absolute best. And, the other instructors have all been very good as well.  If you have 45 minutes for a workout this will challenge you, on any fitness level.  You will leave energized and invigorated and ready for more!  It is very easy to become addicted!!!!!!!!
