I joined Chuz because of the wonderful Aqua Class offered by Julie. She has changed my life, could barely get through any exercises, until I started with Julie’s class and now I can even do a yoga class, but it’s hard on my knees, I’d love to see a chair yoga class. Julie is helpful and helps you know the proper way to exercise. This Thanksgiving I was grateful for Julie and her class. Chuz you have a Gem in an employee like Julie. I love this Gym and location on Oracle! Not only are there ample equipment and spots to work out in, but there’s also a quieter theater workout area, an outdoor adult jungle gym situation going on with turf and a smaller workout station, as well as saunas, a pool, and my favorite…hydro-massage.
Angela was able to help me to freeze my account when life obligations prevented me from going to the gym. I definitely felt a positive experience and very supported!

Got a 7 day trial. This gym is great if you are beginning your journey, but I am unimpressed with their dated equipment package, the leg press feels like it will break with 70% of the weight stack loaded, and the treadmills don't feel good if you are doing more than walking, they feel like the ground is slipping out from under you and every step feels like the belt is slipping for a micro second. I would love to see them add a Assault Fitness Air Runner for people serious about sprinting, running, and jogging these treadmills are great for perfect sprinting and running techniques allowing for confidence in every step and superior posterior chain activation than regular treadmills. Other than that the gym is a gym, good culture, nice people, lots of working bodies.

Went here on a trial on a Monday. Around 6 PM, this place was way, way, way too packed. It's overcrowded and getting equipment is a total mess. Literally every bench, lat pulldown and row machine was taken. Etiquette was bad - people taking adjustable benches for Bulgarian split squats when there are other pieces they can use, hanging out 5 minutes between sets on their phones, etc. Did some cardio for 30 minutes and around 7 it cleared out a bit, but not by much. If you can swing going middle of the day, it's otherwise a fine gym with most things you'd need.

I love the amenities for the price, but parking is super limited if you go after work (tons of cars circling waiting for spots). The classes are worth it- I went in blind and they don't really adjust for new people. It definitely feels a step up from Planet fitness in machines/classes/amenities.

Horrible first impression. I signed up online and it told me to take my license in to finish setting up my account . Went there to a very rude front desk person. Who I guess I was disturbing. She could not find my account and asked me questions to which I had to answer twice it seemed like she didn’t want to help nor care. I finally got to work out and got an email today saying I had to go in with my id !!! If it’s anything like last time I will go to a gym where you can sign up without all the issues . You get more bang for your buck at LA Fitness.

A couple days later a rep emailed me profusely apologized and comped me a free month membership and informed me that they were going to be thorough with employee training in the future.

Gross negligence and zero accountability when handling dangerous equipment.

A few days ago, I asked a Chuze Fitness employee to walk me through how to use their tanning booth/bed. I made it very clear that I had ZERO experience with tanning machines. I assumed that someone who assigns these things daily would have at least a basic understanding of how to use them safely.

All the employee told me was that I’d need goggles. Then he asked, “Booth or bed?” Again, I reminded him I had no clue what I was doing and asked what the difference was. His entire explanation? “One is 10 minutes, and the other is 15.”

Thinking the only difference was the duration, I chose the 10-minute option. He wiped down the machine, told me to hop in, and that he’d start it up. So I stripped down, put on the goggles, and got in—quickly—knowing he was waiting on me.

After my 10-minute session, I stepped out and finally noticed the warning labels plastered on the machine: Do not use for 10 minutes on your first session. First-time users should tan for no more than 2 minutes. I was horrified.

Now, my skin is absolutely wrecked. Within hours it started tightening and burning. Two days later, every inch of my body feels like it’s on fire. Walking, sitting, moving, even eating—everything is excruciating.

This was 100% preventable. The staff showed a complete lack of care and basic training around what is essentially dangerous equipment. There’s probably nothing I can do legally—I’m sure I unknowingly signed a waiver—but people should know what they’re walking into.

Let this be a warning: if you’re new to tanning, DO NOT trust the staff here to guide you. They won’t. And you’ll be the one paying for their incompetence—in pain.

Nice gym. Shakes are very good as well. The only thing I don't necessarily care for are the lockers, they're too small. Also, there's really no place to sit in the locker room, just a tiny wooden uncomfortable bench and only a small area to do your make up.

I’m a regular visitor to this gym, but I’ve noticed that the cleanliness of the spa area—especially the hot tub—is consistently poor. The water often looks dirty and filled with excessive foam, as shown in the attached pictures. It’s not only unpleasant but also feels unsanitary. This location seriously lacks proper maintenance and hygiene standards compared to other branches. Please address this issue as soon as possible.

I love this gym. It's easy to navigate unlike other gyms I've visited. I hate the extremely loud hand dryers, but everything else is great. You have to pay extra to use the pool and take classes, and even more if you want yoga or pilates, but that keeps the classes smaller.

Very bad experience. I felt like the front rep was not wanting to help me. We were so confused when we got there and she was not even trying to help. She is not good at her job. She helped the people so well before us and lied when I called when I asked if it was busy. That place is not inviting. The pool had old ladies doing laps and no place to relax. The hot tub had about 5 men in it. Just not inviting. Too busy also at the Tucson Mall. Also, I signed up for another gym I used to go to that day because after my one time there I was so disappointed. I used the dirty tanning bed with hair all over it. The black girl with the French accent with the braids needs to find a new line of work.

I have been a member here for about a year and really like it so far. Today I met an employee named Rose who is amazing ! She was working alone at the time I went up to buy a drink and she handled the customers checking in at me and another customer at the drink counter . She welcomed everyone and smiled at every single person who came in the doors. She is great at multi tasking and getting things done efficiently without making customers feel rushed . She took her time to explain things in the app to me and was so kind and helpful. I ordered some smoothies and she helped me carry them out to my car in the rain. I thanked her and she smiled and said she was just doing her job . I can tell that she is a people person and enjoys working there . There was a rude girl who worked there in the past , but I haven’t seen her in awhile . All of the employees I’ve met recently are friendly , but Rose stands out ! I would have given 5 starts but parking is always full and the gym is usually packed and the sanitizing stations have been empty several times. Other than that , it’s a really good place , better than Planet Fitness, in my opinion.

I'm 5' and a lot of the machines do not allow for comprehensive adjustments. I was struggling to use any machine that didn't have a basic seat. I straight up couldn't use their single leg glute because the leg push isn't adjustable and the chest adjustor didn't go to where I needed it to have proper form. Great gym with a ton of amenities. I was a member for about 6 months, but had to cancel because it's simply too busy most of the day, and I cannot justify doubling my time at the gym just from standing around waiting for what I need to use. If you sign up, be prepared to either find a small window of the day where it is slower, or to wait for nearly every free weight/bench/rack/machine you need to use. Sometimes I would have to switch my workouts entirely because I couldn't even find alternative options to the movement that were unoccupied. The dry saunas are usually full, so you'll be waiting for those too. Because of all the people, the parking lot is also completely packed most of the time. I've even been hearing stories of members not being allowed in because they are at capacity. Imagine paying for a gym membership, showing up after work when you can go, and not being able to use the things you're paying for. Chuze really needs to put a limit of how many people they allow to sign up, because it results in a diminished experience for everyone in there.

Criminally misleading descriptions on the membership options. There was a 10 dollar a month option with a 12 mknth contract. I chose the 15 dollar a month option because whoever wrote up the descriptions made it seem like it was a monthly membership you could cancel when needed. Apparently it also has a 12 month contract and goes to monthly after that is up. So I now have to pay 50 dollars if I want to cancel. Vasa would not treat me this way.

The gym equipment is great and the facility is bright and inviting. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I love that there is a pool and steam rooms. The cardio cinema is a lot of fun too. You cant go wrong with Chuze. I can't imagine going anywhere else for a gym. Also, team training is great and a great place to start if youre newer to the gym or working out. I've never done orange theory but I hear it's close to that experience. This gym has everything needed to get a great workout. The one thing that’s missing is sanitation and cleanliness. The men’s bathroom is extremely unsanitary and dirty. The floor of the entire gym needs desperate attention. Since the machines are dark colored, I wouldn’t doubt they are not as clean as they look. If they put attention to cared about the cleanliness of their gym, they would be the top gym in Tucson.

I love this gym. I have been a member since I moved to Tucson. I use all of the locations and go to some of the classes. Love the free weights area. My daughter and I normally go to the gym on grant and craycroft but decided to try a different gym so we went to the one on oracle. I will never go here again they are the most rudest staff I have ever meet. I went to get water out of the fountain and it was really warm I couldn't drink it so I went to ask for some ice they told me they can't give ice. I understand not giving I asked to buy some they said they can't and I said well your fountains are warm water let me buy a drink just don't put anything in it and give me ice. So I was willing to pay almost 8 dollars just for some ice and they wouldn't. Seriously

I have been a loyal customer to Chuze for 8 years and have been going to the new location on Oracle since it opened. Today I was very disappointed with the customer service provided by Richard. He was extremely rude and unwelcoming. He took my ticket from me very rudely, also. Everyone else was very happy and had great energy. I was feeling so great after my workout and his whole attitude was unappreciated. I really do love Chuze, and will continue to work out there. Besides that, the people working there are pleasant. I can't say much as I only go there for treadmill, and only use other equipment when I manage to match schedules with my gym buddy. And every time we do match and go for the other equipment, it's always a wait time, so we end up staying longer in the gym. Except early mornings.

Overall, it's a great gym to go to and only downside really, it's the parking lot space. Maybe more equipment needed, but I do like the atmosphere here.

I love that with their amenities they are cheaper than planet fitness. I love the ease of getting protien shakes or smoothies before I walk put the door after my workout.

I really enjoy this gym because of all the amenities I get for the price I pay. From the cardio and weight equipment, to the hydro massage chairs to the sauna (they just remodeled them) and steam room, plus the tanning beds those all give me my bang for my buck. However, what really puts it over the edge are the team training classes which are basically a version of Orange Theory and they have a hot yoga class(not as hot as a true yoga studio, but does the job). Just those 2 things alone are worth it since an actual studio dedicated to those classes are easily $125+ a month. Overall, the value I get from Chuze is why I recommend it and will keep coming back.

I had a 1 year membership that the gym made extremely hard to cancel with needing to come in person as well as fees for canceling. So I ended up leaving my account open and waiting for my membership to end. I haven’t been into this gym in over a year and have been charged monthly since my membership ended. This is extremely financially predatory for a gym that considers itself family centered. I would not return or recommend

Tanning beds never cleaned...asked for 10 min set for 15 min I have 3rd degree burns 🔥 . They seemed to care less about the mistake called corporate no one returned my call
