Not as nice as the pictures. Also the bathroom showers are not private.

Love this gym. None better then cochise health and racquet club

Update: been going there for 2 years now and it's still amazing. The management, trainers, and staff are super friendly, the facility is super clean and if there is any issues with equipment and or the facility it is fixed ASAP

Clean, affordable. They have 4-5 racquetball courts (Yay!) A seasonal lap pool-which, in ARIZONA, I do not understand (it should be open year-round.) The usual gym equipment.

There are several areas, including a second floor, from which to choose where and how, you want to work out. They offer a myriad of group classes including yoga (also, INDIVIDUAL yoga classes available, of which I have scheduled for TODAY, as my work schedule doesn't allow for me to join the group class(s) offered.)
So. Honestly, I maintain membership so I can get a massage (she is GREAT! Very knowledgeable with therapeutic technique. And affordable prices.)
I am a tennis player in a tennis-unfriendly-town. So, to get my "racquet "fix" (which I haven't yet because, well: early mornings, I want coffee. After work? I want to "veg.". . ie. I am LAZY.

This is by far the nicest gym in the area. Their weight room is the most complete and largest in the city. They also have racquet ball and basketball courts. If you’re looking to get an actual workout and not free pizza, this is the gym for you. Just took my Grandson to a free kids class and now he is working out with me. Still the best gym in town.

Good equipment. Women's area has separate showers, sauna, steam room and a hot tub. Classes are good but some get filled fast. Place needs a little refreshing with respect to the walls and floors. There is an outdoor pool but it's freezing cold. Owner would probably get a lot more members if it was heated.

I was initially drawn to the gym because of the women's separate workout area. Ended up going for a year and a half until I moved. I was a regular and loved that people minded their own business all the time. Nice sauna. Great environment, staff, and the regulars are inspiring :) the owner is also kind.

It is becoming more and more common that they do not open on time. It is now 520 and no staff members in site. At least 12 people waiting outside to try and get our days going before work. Maybe jaguar gym is the answer.

The gym is very old and dated for the monthly rate. The swimming pool is only open during the summer, it was dirty every single time we attempted to use it. I personally don't mind a few floaties here and there, but the water was always super cold--too cold and I grew up as a competitive swimmer. It wouldn't hurt if the place got remodeled... For example, the Mens bathroom area. The hot tub is small, very old, paint chipping and the area is divided by a dividing wall. What's on the other side of the wall? An old broken tanning bed, not practical. In the showers, you have good shower heads and not so great showerheads most people avoid. For a monthy rate that exceeds $30 dollars a month, this place should at least offer a 24/7 schedule during the work week. Feel like the owners need to wake-up and reevaluate. If people really just care about cardio and weights, Sierra Vista offers much cheaper options...

My husband & I joined for a month while staying in the SV area. Staff were friendly & helpful, we enjoyed use of the cardio equipment & life fitness machines. We felt very comfortable working out here…just people doing their thing. Weight room is huge & the classes looked fun. Club is clean, but overall is dark with a 80’s vibe. Didn’t matter to us as we just needed a place to work out.

This gym is 😘🀌 muah. There is a spa, sauna and steamroom in the ladies locker room! And presumably in the mens. They have fun cardio classes and a FULL range of weights and equipment. Oh and racquetball courts. And a pool open seasonally. The "regulars" here are chill and the weightroom vibe is welcoming and motivating... like we are all here to put in work. I can see how a newb might carry some personal trauma and assume quick glances are judgey, they're not . They are most likely thinking of their next set and judging their own performance on that last set and they just happen to glance your direction. I was that newb once. Most here love seeing new ppl and hope to watch a transformation.

This place is old as sin just like the patrons. Pretty much if you going here an you aint on social security I suggest you take your business elsewhere, like buena health or planet fitness. At least there you wont feel ripped off or oogled by the staff an old people. Went here before cuz of the convenience, unfortunately their billing system is similar to Jaguar gym meaning they’ll either keep charging you til you come in yourself an address the issue or charge you for cancelling, i mean same difference right? πŸ‘ either way avoid this place like the plague and take YOUR hard earned money elsewhere… we already gotta pay enough for gas why give money to this β€œgym”.

Just went there with my Active and Fit membership, and found a firewall trying to get in at 6:15PM. Guy working there asked me to take a seat and wait while he input things into his computer. Not exactly a warm welcome, but I get that everyone has their days. After waiting he came and suggested I come back because a family of three who was not present was supposed to come back and it wouldn't be fair to them to help me then. So I asked if I could just fill out what needed to be filled out while I waited and he said he had to be present. Upon a funnt look he mentioned towels not being covered in the cost of active and fit. I said I didn't need towells. He continued to give excuses as to why I would need to come back later to an ostensibly NOT crowded gym just to use the row machine for 30 minutes. At that point I have to wonder if you're trying to shutter your business. I wanted to try something new and Active and Fit gives the monthly membership premium to the first gym one attends. I have to make sure that doesn't happen now until they empower their subordinates to let their gym patrons USE the GYM!

I like that the women's area is separate from the mens because some women aren't comfortable working put around men I also love that there's tv to watch even though it's only fox news it's still more entertaining than just sitting in silence they also have water fountains and water bottle fill up stations. this gym is really nice. they also offer bottled drinks for a couple dollars in case you don't have any.

Nice gym if you trynna get a lift in and don’t mind weird old people looking at you, definitely needs a remodel, different machines and a better placement of the machines since there’s really barely space to walk around the weight lifting. Seems like they peaked in the 90s and didn’t wanna give away that 90s concept.
Old but good for lifting.

I attended this gym while on my journey to recovering from chronic illnesses. The hardest part of going was passing the judgmental front desk workers.
Take binders if you go here. The whole building is full of mold & leaks.

If I could give zero stars I would. This gym is full of nothing but drama and men who like to pick on women. All they do is talk about what people wear, what they do, etc. Guys would put towels on the equipment to hold it but yet won't use it. They will walk away to go gossip and if we ask to use it, they start yelling. This one guy cursed and yelled and my friend and I who is also a woman. The staff did nothing but laugh at the whole commotion. This gym should be called the Cochise Circus Club. The front staff is very unprofessional as well. The only people I give props to there is Pollie and the maintenance folks. Very wonderful people.

Double Charged DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO AUTO PAY.

I had initially signed up on June 12 on their most expensive plan that allows you to quit with no fees (abt $47 a mo) since I have plans to relocate in the upcoming year. When I had opened my membership with them I initially paid about $120 to include the following month (July) with my payment. So about $67 for the membership fees and $47 for the following month. I then got an email stating that they had tried to take ANOTHER $47 from my account for the month I had prepaid for.

The woman in charge of accounts works part-time (and those hours, from 10-1, are NOT convenient to anyone with a job) and therefore I am waiting hours and hours to lodge this complaint to them directly.
My impression is that they are SEVERELY disorganized and communicate poorly. Their facilities are adequate but you have to put up with Fox News playing constantly on not one but TWO screens. The best cardio machine in the place is the one behind a wall where you don't have to look at it. I chose them initially because I wanted to support a local business but am deeply upset by this not-so-small issue with billing.

So, so disappointed in the service I am receiving and TERRIFIED that I was almost charged $170 for about 5 weeks of a membership. Will be cancelling my membership with them as soon as possible. If you do choose to utilize this gym PLEASE do not allow them to set up auto-pay on your account since, given my experience, they are not adequately organized to use that feature responsibly.

I made an appointment with a member in sales so I could get a tour and join the gym. I showed up on time for my appointment with a friend who wanted to join as well and was told by the girl at the front desk that the sales member had just left for the day(I had an APPOINTMENT and had scrambled to leave work early so I could make it on time and she just left?! No phone call, nothing!), but we could walk around and check out the gym ourselves. We came back up to the desk and I was ready to join and was told we couldn't that day. We had to wait for somebody in sales to call us and we would have to come back by scheduling another appointment!! The front desk girl took both of our numbers and said she would have the sales girl call us ASAP to join. That was over 5 days ago. My friend nor myself ever received a call for an appointment to join. We both figured if this was how they treated potential paying customers, we couldn't imagine how they would treat established customers. We will go elsewhere with our business.

I had been a member for nearly 5 years until today.

Yes, the facility is old and so is the equipment. I've been okay with that up until recently. They've increased their monthly membership for the past few years, which factored in to my decision.

What really burns me, though, IS THE STAFF. Today was the second time I felt totally disrespected by an employee at Cochise Racquet. I promptly finished my workout and went straight to the front desk to cancel my membership. Remember the day and age where customer service was part of life? I don't need to be paying this place every month just to be treated like Cochise Racquet is doing me a favor by allowing me to go there.
