Great when it opened but has been disappointing over time. Maybe I'm just going at the wrong part of week or day. Kids get bored because it really isn't a park feel and it seems like some elements have shown up for the worse. Park is for relaxing... not constantly looking over your shoulder.

The customer service everytime I come here is the absolute worst! Today Lydia Clark a reservation specialist blatantly lied to me and said she was a manager, and she is not and was completely rude, disregarding and not willing to understand the customer and constantly talked over me. As someone who doesnβt come here often for this very reason every time I come, they prove to me why this place needs new management!

Membership not worth it for a family with multiple aged kids. Friendly staff, great amenities but not able to use them as we would like. Kids have to be 12 to go upstairs to the track. A family cannot walk on the track together on hot days. Kids have to be 15 to be upstairs alone. Our daughter is 15 and would love to have access to weight training for her sports but we have to be there with her. So all in all this membership for a family of 6 is not worth it. Too many restrictions.

Too many kids playing around in the fitness and weight area during the day which is weird cause why arenβt they in school??? Itβs coming to the point where it should be monitored at the desk they have upstairs thatβs never being used. Groups of 8 kids just hanging out at the cables and taking up all the benches. Idk how itβs even allowed if youβre under 18 without an adult. Looks like more of a daycare when you walk in than a gym.

The staff seems to be unaware of offerings, such as season passes and when certain services/parts of the center are open at various times of the year.
The pool has been much too cold since last summer, despite their claims to have upgraded the heating system.
The shallow pool seems to be shut down at least once per visit, for 30 minutes or mote.
The life guards are okay overall but often have an attitude when correcting someone's behavior.
There is a horrible stink that wafts through periodically.
They don't stop people from blasting loud music on bluetooth speakers.
There often isn't a good place to sit, and strangers encroach on your space because of how cramped all the seating is.
The water is generally clean.
The locker room is good, with free lockers, showers.

Honestly disappointed with how quick they were to stop open swim season while it is still summer and hot out! Seeing my kid get upset about seeing the lifeguards training in the water, breaks my heart. I know they are training but my kid thinks they are having fun and he can't do that because of their decision. Do better. Cause that wasn't necessary. Also very disappointed with how some life guards talk to kids under 10 when explaining the rules. There's no need to be rude to them. Do better

I go literally everyday. If you come, and spot me, let's work out together!
As a mom who's into fitness, I love that child watch is open every weekday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., then again at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Like who does this???
Every weekend I can take my babies from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Sunday. We can literally go everyday!!!
Staff is friendly, The community members who work out here are awesome, everyone is approachable and happy looking.
If I ever fall victim to dementia, I hope my grandkids bring me back the Copper Sky so that I can relive this part of my life - pushing my limits and making memories everyday around people who are kind strangers π€πΎ

We were part of a party in a room and from what information was withheld to the org who rented room A. They were told to use the pool (in which they paid a fee to do), we had to go all the way around the outside of the building to use the pool. The inside locker rooms to the pool were locked and they refused to open them.

To sit in the lobby next to the pool, they now charge $12βjust to sit and wait. LMAO! This place has become an absolute joke, run by thieves.
If you're that desperate for memberships, just say that. There is no reason a parent who already paid for their children to swim should have to pay again just to sit in a common area because they're not members.
The poor customer service, lack of quality kids programs, and constant price gouging are exactly why we canceled our membership a long time ago. After today, Iβll gladly keep driving out of town rather than support this greedy behavior!

This public recreation area appears to offer a variety of amenities for all ages. The presence of a pool, fields, and courts suggests ample opportunities for physical activity and sport. A nearby lake could provide a venue for fishing, kayaking, or simply enjoying the tranquility of nature. The combination of these features suggests a well-rounded recreational space for individuals and families alike. It seems like a wonderful asset to the community.

The pool is only open for kids/family to swim Friday Saturday Sunday. Itβs never a consistent schedule with the pool. I donβt understand why they have the splash pad open, but not the pool. Kids and parents do not last long in the heat and would be nice if we were able to get in the pool to cool off.
Hopefully me posting a review gets the attention of others so that youβre not wasting money on a membership if you are interested in the pool.

I just wish we got more pool time in the rec pool (even if the slide or the rock wall were closed) and feel most afternoons/evenings they open a bit late (or not at all after July weekdays, except Friday afternoons) and close a bit earlier than they should during the hottest months. Funky smell in the splash pads sometimes, but it's super fun for younger kids. Lots of mineral buildup on the equipment from the hard water in Maricopa.
Other than that the facility is pretty great.

Very unprofessional and incredibly rude! Had my daughter's 1st birthday party here. Was a power outage during party. I was told I had 15 minutes to remove all decor because everyone will need to to be out the pools and party room. They locked the doors that had access to the pools which left many parents in a panic because minors were left outside. We were told since party will be canceled its company policy to lock doors. After informing multiple times of minors the finally opened the doors. As we were cleaning up we were told power is back up and we can start setting up again for party. No empathy or accommodations during this. So disappointed on how everything was handled. I asked if we can atleast have pro rated refund due to inconvenience and was advised no because they have no control over outage. Will not recommend to anyone thinking about hosting here. They are so unprofessional and I really wished I would have booked elsewhere for my daughter's 1st birthday party.

I experienced frustration upon returning to the pool after several years and discovering that the cost of the summer fun pass for my children, who have special needs and are only able to utilize the pool facilities, amounts to $180.
The establishment should consider offering more affordable family-friendly options for the three-month period, ideally priced below $180 for the pool only.
Additionally, our children faced difficulties reaching the bathroom, since they closed off access to bathrooms prompting us to leave as it became impractical to continue with our swimming plans.
I regret purchasing the membership on my initial visit and hope to be refunded.

Discriminates against elderly, disabled, and pregnant patrons. They will not allow disabled patrons access to the pool area after 11 a.m. They literally lock the doors and block access for any person who is not able to walk 1/4 mile in the Arizona heat, during the summer. This may seem like a small task, but it is an insurmountable obstacle for people who are not able-bodied.
They do not have anywhere to do independent exercise, like yoga. They lock any rooms that would be available, to stretch, and charge $42 per hour, with a 2 hour minimum to rent the room, that should be available to everyone.
Can't run on the treadmill? Can't, or don't want to attend the once daily group class? Well, too bad. There is nowhere for you to exercise in the facility.. where you pay...to exercise...indoors. There is a single room crowded with equipment, and an indoor track. There is no open area for stretching or training. So if you feel like a solo workout, you are out of luck.
Their bathroom policies are anti-family. If you are a Mama with a four year old son, you cannot take him into the bathroom. You would have to send him alone, into the Men's room, with a wet swimsuit, and hope that he can figure out how to get dressed and dry on his own. Hope that he doesn't need help wiping, since they are bulldogs about not letting parents change with their kids of opposite sex. They literally post signs.
They do have locked bathrooms available for families, so if you are in the pool, you have to walk, in your swimsuit, with your kids, in their swimsuits, soaking wet, to the front desk, and have someone come unlock it for you, and hope that nobody else has to go potty, because the doors automatically lock behind you when you leave, and you will have to repeat the entire process.
They are not actually there to promote recreation and fun, they make it the most miserable difficult experience possible, for people who just want to get healthy, or go to the swimming pool. Also, the automatic door opener has been broken for months, so if you have a walker, wheelchair, or stroller, be prepared to wait until someone nice opens the door for you.

Maricopa Copper Sky Aquatic Center is a great spot for affordable family fun. Admission is just $2 for kids and $4 for adults, making it a budget-friendly choice. My granddaughter had an amazing time there. She loved playing on the splash pad, swimming in the pool, and floating in the lazy river. The aquatic center also has a fun water slide, a diving board for jumping into the water, and a rock wall for climbing. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. It's a perfect place to spend a fun day with the family without breaking the bank.

This is the biggest park Maricopa has to offer with a wide variety of things to do for grown ups and especially kids, from soccer fields to baseball and softball fields to play grounds for children and even a skate park and I've been told a pool and fitness center in the summer time for a small few that's worth paying for. I'm new in town and enjoy parks and outdoor places to chill at and I recommend this park. It also has a dog park and is open until 11pm.

Such a gift to the community! Always see families and youth sports in the multiple fields. Free disc golf, fishing, sport areas like bike and board park, basketball courts, pickle ball and tennis. Just a nice gift. Only bad remark is if you loose a disc in one of the locked fields, they NEVER get returned to the front desk lost and found. This is not right, people pay good money for them, ground staff need to return peoples property so they can be called to pick up their property.

So much to do, if you have, kiddos, dogs or just want to enjoy the great AZ weather, be sure to make this park one if your stops along the way.

I paid $18 to swim but only the splash pad was open for my kid. One lifeguard said we can go in the small section of the lap pool but another lifeguard came & said my kid is to little. But the kids pool was closed. If I had known that I wouldnβt have wasted $18. My kid spent 2 minutes at the splash pad & got bored because she knows how to swim now. I guess I should have asked for a refund because we left shortly after arriving. They should have told me my kid couldnβt swim. I found out after the fact that the kid pool is open Friday to Sunday.

Great location a plethora of activities one can enjoy with family & friends. the restrooms/toilets need to accommodate the handicap, hand soap dispenser damaged (caused by vandalism). Highly recommend.

The gym is ok, most of the staff and trainers are extremely rude.
