CorePower is the largest national chain of yoga studios. In addition to over 200 physical locations, they also offer an "on-demand" option which is included with all monthly memberships, otherwise, it can be accessed al la carte for a monthly subscription of $19.99. These options make yoga accessible from anywhere and available anytime.
There are a variety of classes - C1, C2, Sculpt, HPF, and Core Restore.
C1 is explained as an opportunity to explore the postures and fundamentals of Vinyasa yoga. C1 classes are all structured the same with a consistent set sequence. Although no additional heat is added, the website warns that rooms may reach 85 degrees.
C2 is an intermediate class that builds on the foundation of C1 and introduces more challenging postures, as well as promotes a connection between movement and breath during practice. The room is typically heated between 95-98 degrees, helping to detoxify.
Sculpt utilizes C2 sequencing but incorporates free weights with strength training moves like lunges, squats, and bicep curls to literally "sculpt" your body. The room is typically heated to between 95-98 degrees but unlike other classes has no added humidity.
HPF or Hot Power Fusion combines the meditative qualities of plain hot yoga with the movement of power yoga. Because the room is humidified and heated between 100-103 degrees I HIGHLY recommend bringing a towel to help absorb some of the sweat you'll undoubtedly excrete, preventing you from sliding all over your mat.
Core Restore is a yin yoga class. No flow or sequence is involved. Instead, the class focuses on achieving a meditative state with intense stretching which involves holding postures anywhere from 3-5 minutes. Usually, classes are lit with artificial candlelight, which I find especially relaxing and restorative.
There are additional classes C1.5 and C3, however, these additional classes are not currently offered at the Chandler location.
Most locations offer new clients an All Access Membership complimentary week pass, allowing you to adequately try classes both in the studio or via streaming. Although costs differ nationally by location, monthly membership is affordable and student rates are available. Memberships are easy to cancel and class packs or drop-in rate options are available as an alternative to a monthly membership.

Be prepared to be locked out of class if you’re 2 min late. :/ I even waited at the front door and knocked hoping to be let in, had a yoga instructor come out of the studio to peer into the lobby and saw me standing outside the front door just to proceed to go back to class without letting me in. Not to mention, paying $30 for a class I didn’t even get to attend. Not the most pleasurable or hospitable experience I’ve had at a yoga studio. Very discouraging and unwelcoming.

Especially given the high price tag for classes at this studio, it has a number of deficiencies:
* Showers have been dirty, with wads of other people's hair on the shower floors, just about every time I've been there.
* Most of the time, the yoga room smells terrible -- an awful combination of stale sweat and bacteria, revealing that the room is not ventilated, cleaned, or deodorized between classes.
* There is no education on yoga class etiquette. One time I attended, a man was breathing SO LOUD through the entire class, intentionally (not because he had a disability or couldn't help it -- it was weird, unnecessary inappropriate "yogic" breathing). The sound dominated the entire room and you could not block it out. It is hard for me to relax and enjoy my EXPENSIVE yoga class with heavy male breathing pounding through my head. I told the instructor after and they basically told me - oh well, too bad.
* There are much cleaner and less expensive hot yoga studios in the area where etiquette is also taught to protect people's class experience -- Yoga Pulse in Mesa is a great example. HALF THE COST of CorePower, always crystal clean and smells great, and no creepy heavy breathing to disrupt my class experience.

Poor communication. Their phone number doesnt go to the individual studio. I was 2 minutes late to my class because of a traffic accident and now im locked out of the studio because the instructor is also the receptionist. For how much money each class is, i would expect enough for a receptionist.

This studio is amazing and filled with teachers who have their own authentic and amazing flair. I primarily take C2 classes hosted by Coley, Christian, and Larissa who are all exceptional but recently had my first class with Valerie and she was also outstanding! All of the classes are unique and I always feel like I’m getting a solid workout while taking care of mental health simultaneously. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend this studio enough!

Well.... it's that time of the year where I kick off my annual Google review edits. Update? Yeah CorePower still crushes absolutely every. single. class.... It's the one of the few workouts that pushes my physically, completely distresses me, and sets off a dopamine bomb in my brain. Highly recommend. Worth the price tag. Oh and having structure and working out around others is a huge plus for community.

Very disappointed in this company. I have been a loyal paying monthly customer for 1 year now and due to recent unfortunate events I've had to leave the country for my family temporarily. So I requested a cancellation of my month to month membership. Currently my account is frozen due to me thinking I was returning to the US soon.
I have more than 30days before my account unfreezes and they are telling me now they will charge me $90 for no reason at all to cancel my pass?
Im obviously going to dispute the charge with my bank but I'm severely disappointed that after spending my time and money on this company this is how they ended up treating me. So sad.
I do not recommend!

Over-priced (single class price increased by 30% this year) crowded, pretentious, no education on yogi etiquette, people have no spatial awareness, lack of sufficient cleaning supplies, no proper guidance or assists.
Overall, classes increase in cost but offer less for the money

Although the trainers are great, the customer service side of it is a horrible experience, taking away from the whole intention of the studios purpose .. no direct line to call, 2-3 day wait for email response, doors are always locked if you want to walk in to talk with someone ... Not worth the $130 a month membership. My personal experience has made me lost trust in how my account is handled.

Please hire a receptionist to answer phone calls and let people in who might be running just a few minutes late. I drove 27 miles for a class I reserved and was held up because of an accident and tried calling to let someone know I’d be 4 minutes late, but was unable to get through to anybody. Upon arriving I was locked out and there was nobody to let me in. Seriously, I was literally 4 minutes late...Thank God I had a coupon code for the class I reserved so I wasn’t out any money other than the gas, but I had every intention of renewing my membership after over a year of no yoga due to Covid. In the email I received, it would’ve been nice to have known you would lock the door at the time class started so I could’ve turned around much sooner. I literally spent over an hour in the car for no reason. So frustrating.

Good luck trying to get in touch with someone there. Very disappointing when your trying to find out more information than is available on their website, or trying to apply for a class.

You will have fun and get a good work out if you come to Core Power. There are classes for all skill levels...I have not practiced in years and just getting back I to it.
C1 is good for beginners and there is a free Sunday night class for it.
HPF is a bendy, stretchy type of class with the hottest heat. It can be intense at times, bring water.
Sculpt is yoga with weights. Be prepared to work hard, sweat a lot and guys...use less heavy weights than you think because by the end of class you might be dropping them.
C2 is sort of a custom thing, every instructor approaches it a little differently. I have not yet taken a C2 here, but I can vouch highly for the other 3 classes.
My only complaint is not being able to use lockers and showers at the moment. I take it this is still a Covid-19 precaution but am hoping for this ban to lift soon. You can still change in the locker room and bring your gym bag into the room with you as a work around.

Although I do love the classes I have taken at corepower, their admin is not responsive. I keep getting charged for classes/memberships I have not signed up for. I have called and emailed multiple people about this problem and no one is getting back to me. I've been charged about $300 dollars for classes I haven't taken.

I regularly do CrossFit but I come here every week to limber up and revive. This place is amazing and my injuries have greatly reduced since coming here. We take Jessie’s class and i absolutely adore her teaching style. I’m flumbling and falling a bit but love every minute is it. She’s an amazing instructor and and walks you thru every pose and every breath. No matter whether you are an experienced yogi or a novice like me, I wholeheartedly recommend Core Power Yoga. ❤️

The CorePower team was super friendly and helpful, made me feel really welcome and comfortable for my first visit. Loved the studio and the class exceeded my expectations. I love yoga and I love fitness, so the yoga sculpt class was a perfect combo. The class was challenging physically and mentally, and Rebecca was supportive and encouraging which made it fun. Thanks!

I tried this place on a whim after signing up for a free week. Signed up for a C1 course online- a beginner's non heated Vinyasa Flow. I'm no expert at yoga, but I'm not a beginner either, so I was open to new poses and a new studio. The initial check in was smooth, I liked the area, and I chatted with a few regulars. "Oh it's a great beginner class, the instructor is great, etc". Then began the class... AW HECK NO. The class was SUPER humid from the previous class. Like Florida swamp humid. I get that they do hot yoga classes as well, but some people just want a well air conditioned room as they move throughout their practice. That heat, combined with the instructor shouting changing poses every 5 seconds over club like music did not help me "unwind" from a long day. The flow was more of a river rapids flow as I could barely move from one pose into another as I almost got kicked in the face! I ended up leaving. I hope that others find this yoga beneficial to them, but I wish there was more transparency as to what the classes entailed/more class options for those who appreciate a calmer scene to practice yoga. For now... Namaste away from this studio.

Tried it on a free week and I liked the vinyasa classes best here. They don't include free mats but the classes are more affordable. You can rent the mats and towels. I will be back for a week pass with a mat for $9. Also there is no reservations just show up which is good for my busy schedule. But sometimes the classes get too full and quality goes down. At the end of a class you get a chilled scented towel.
