You need to come here! Seriously. The best trainers and best program for strength and muscle building.
As a yoga therapist and 20+yr pt myself, i know what to do when it comes to working out …. But I wasn’t doing it. (Sound familiar?)
I love that I can schedule on the app, then come in and within 30 minutes I have worked every major muscle to failure. Super time efficient and effective. And I don’t have to think about the programming - I just do what they tell me to do.
Facility is clean and convenient- lots of parking.

I’ve been working out at Discover Strength in Scottsdale with Mitch M. for close to a year. I was looking for a trainer who understood and practiced high-intensity strength training as described by Doug McGuff in Body by Science. I had trained that way in the past so I was very pleased to find Mitchell and Discover Strength. The workouts are brief but intense and designed to stimulate muscle growth and increase strength. Mitchell brings the latest research and evidence to bear on the workouts .
During the year I was coping with some personal challenges including a couple of injuries and several surgeries. Mitchell was an expert at tailoring workouts to accommodate injuries and even to improve my functioning.
As I’m sitting in a local restaurant writing this review, a server whom I haven’t seen for while said “You been working out? You look more solid.” Yes. Yes I have.

I've been going to Discover Strength for nearly 10 years in the Twin Cities. I was thrilled to hear they were opening a location in Scottsdale as I have family in Arizona and the location was very convenient to where I stay when in Scottsdale. I have been fortunate enough to be able to schedule sessions with Mitchell while I am visiting. Most efficient 30 minutes of my day and the results speak for themselves. Love the post workout endorphin rush!

The trainers and technique at Discover Strength are the absolute best! After two pregnancies and a torn meniscus, my muscle was all but lost. I was honestly afraid of getting back in the gym and building strength again. Mitch and Taylor are both experts at physiology and it shows in their methods. In only a few months, I've seen a major difference in my muscle and tone. This is the best and most efficient workout in Scottsdale. Definitely worth a try!

I highly appreciate the approach of Discover Strength and believe more people should be incorporating resistance training into their routines. I found the strategy to be highly effective, and Taylor's guidance made the experience even better. His explanations of each machine, encouragement throughout every exercise, and evident expertise made him stand out as an awesome trainer. Although I already resistance train 4-5 days a week, I had never tried this style of workout before, and I left feeling like I had worked out for over an hour. Overall, I highly value this service model and can't wait to work with Taylor again. Thank you, Taylor!

Worked out in a small group with my husband, our trainer Taylor was knowledgeable, fun and kept the pace moving. I played basketball in college and have done 13 ironman triathlons...so I was pretty skeptical that a 30 min workout could kick my a$$.... Happy to report I worked super hard and am definitely feeling it the next day in a good way. We are eager to keep coming back for more, and I LOVED the 30 min efficiency of the workout!
