Scammers to your face. Actually wrote to contracts. 16 week contract for 60 min for $70.00 bi weekly. Hailey also wrote separate contract for 30 min for $60.00 a session! Who would sign up for $60.00 for 30 mins when for $10.00 more you can get an hour for 70.00. It was weeks before we got a copy of the contract because no ink for the printer. You don’t see the contract she tells you the little screen is for signing and she will give you a copy of what she explained. She left EOS and no one at EOS knows anything about it. Including billing, they are just a billing service with 8000 vendors. In October they take 72.00 out of your acct with no warning for yearly dues. Take your chances dont sign up for trainer unless they print it out in advance. Beware!

I enjoy working out at this EOS at 59th and 101 HWY, and have been for 5 years. It is always clean. Ingrid (cleaning lady) does a good job!

However, several months after mentioning it on this website the small locker have not been fixed. Two weeks ago, I mentioned the problem to the new Manager. He said he would look into fixing it, no progress, yet. It’s an eye sore as is. Enough!

I cancelled, SAME-DAY, their personal training services. They then proceeded to charge me $152 FOUR TIMES for a service I cancelled and never used. Despite talking to the people at the gym, literally calling corporate Eos, and being told again and again that, “They would take care of it,” I never got refunded, my emails were ignored, and I still have not gotten my $600 refund they owe me for charging me for something I cancelled. NEVER sign up for their personal training.

I literally only go here for convenience sake because it’s the closest to where I live, but if I could I would go somewhere else. I NEVER had issues like this at Vasa Fitness and wish there was one closer to me so I could switch back over; they also have much nicer equipment. The moment I get the chance, I will be quitting Eos and never looking back.

I was not told of an $85 annual fee before I signed up, or else I wouldn't have joined. You have to pay both monthly and annually for no logical reason at all. Luis, an associate at 59th ave location, didn't tell me about that when I was joining. Annual fees are for paying ahead of time for services, not just a random cash grab on top of monthly fees. 1/4 of the machines are always under maintenance as well.

2025.08.12 UPDATE: TL;DR; this gym is really busy leading to frequent equipment failure and slow repairs.

Cinema projection finally fixed. The manager response from a long time ago never went anywhere. They may have left the reply on this review to look proactive and caring.

Paper towel stock is good now. But weight racking continues to be an issue. I guess that is the gym culture here, as I never see employees do it either.

General tip for this location, avoid M-F between 5p to 9p, as the crowds are off the charts! People literally sit in walkways waiting for their turn since nothing is available no matter what split you are doing.

The now 2 (used to be 3) rowing machines are only barely acceptable due to bumpy tracks and wobbling seats. Luckily I don't row often. Though I wonder if I would see them used more if they were in better shape. They also stick out into a main walkway.

Quality and available equipment varies greatly by location. The ones near colleges are crazy busy and have a lot of issues with keeping machines working. Which also causes there to be less equipment to use with the busy crowds.

They just need your money. I had an membership for a year, then I was out of the country for a period of time. When I returned I wanted to update my membership. Because my account was canceled and I was not able to update, I did an 7 days free pass. I received an email to show to the front desk, but when I was there they did not allowed me to use my 7 days free pass because I had an membership before. I am very disappointed, was ready to update my membership after 7 days, but after this I am not sure.

Worst gym/customer service ever. Nothing but kids with no people skills running this place save your money and go anywhere but here. They all need to be fired! Signed up online came in and was told okay you're good to go. I asked for a tour and was told oh we dont give tours by the girl in the front. Then I said we'll I need a tour she then went and got a guy who asked did I want personal training I said said no I want a tour and was told we'll the classes are back there and pointed. I looked at him and said can u cancel my membership he said okay done. I asked for proof it was canceled he said oh I did but their is NO confirmation. Each day I checked my app and it showed active! I called emailed asked to speaker to a manager and told there was no manager just the guy who said he canceled it. He told me he was the manager. I called another eos location and they told me nope your membership is active still it was never canceled! EOS THIS IS NOT OKAY! If that money would have came out of my account and my bank being over drawn I probably would have lost it. These days people cant afford extra fee and extra stress like this. I also wanted to add I joined the gym in the first place because my brother committed suicide last year and I was suffering bad from it. My friend suggested the gym to help with my MENTAL HEALTH anxiety and depression. EOS your staff only added to my anxiety depression anger etc and this experience and this is not okay. If it wasn't for GENESIS at the other EOS having so much compassion. She not only canceled my membership she listened and shifted my high energy anxiety. We need more staff like her she deserves recognition and the rest of your staff that treated me this way need to be held accountable and fired! Consider training staff on customer service!

Be very careful with anything you sign up for here, especially in the personal training arena, I had signed up and didn’t use a bunch of my trainings, when I went back, there was over 20 training sessions that had been marked used by one specific Trainer, I spoke to Management. He said he’d look into it as he was to regional director of training, never heard anything back from anybody. I was over $1000 worth of training classes my fault for not keeping a better look at it, but I will never trust anything anybody says on that building again

You should avoid this location. Most of the time machines are broken. Treadmills are broken. Ellipticals are broken. They don’t have a lot of towels to use. It’s way overcrowded. the showers do not have soap in any of the stalls and the handicap shower stall does not have a showerhead and the door does not work. The shave been issues for months now. Try a different location

Much of the equipment is defective, outdated, and apparently doesn't receive proper maintenance. This gym used to be my absolute favorite. It was always super clean and had tons of space and equipment. Unfortunately since moving back to this gym there’s been some issues. when the equipment breaks and (seems to break far more often than most gyms I’ve seen) it never seems to be repaired within a reasonable time frame. Its kind of obnoxious. Some of the equipment is clearly neglected and sometimes simply suffers from a loose screw or nut. Aside from that on the fitness floor everything is actually pretty good. But the problem for me is the bathrooms. holy moly those bathrooms.

I of course know the bathrooms will stink on occasion because, they are bathrooms. But theirs are always dirty and always stink. Nasty. Sometimes it smells like something died in there. Symbiote goop caked in every crevice of the sinks and mirrors a foul stench wafting up from nearly all the drains. Urine covered floors urinals and toilets and Picasso painted toilets. I haven’t been fortunate enough to see a fully cleaned men’s room where I’m not repulsed, and I’m there almost everyday sometimes different times mornings, afternoons, nights.

I know it’s possible to fix that. But it absolutely hinges on the staff prioritizing that even more. Like walking through every 10 minutes cleaning the bathroom. Thats how I did it at lifetime fitness. With double the people mind you and I was folding 100s of towels an hour. It is more than possible to have the bathroom and locker room actually smell nice. Get some chemical digestant down those drains get some tooth picks or something and scrape that nastiness out of the cracks of the counters and consistently clean the bathroom. Wipe down the ins and outs of the lockers and the benches with disinfectant, clean the suit spinner with digestant as well that thing should not smell like it does.

Aside from that I would like to include that the staff are incredibly friendly I am Always welcomed, told to enjoy my workout or to have a nice day. Anyway, If those bathrooms are somehow improved to a cleaning standard beyond my local 7elevens I’d rate a 3.5 maybe 4 stars.

Pretty ghetto gym, which is surprising given the neighborhood it's in. I only have a membership here because they have an indoor pool AND sauna. I never use any of the machines/weights. It's overcrowded & in need of a rehaul, especially the sauna-- the door handle inside of the sauna broke off while I was in there and I had to flag a swimmer to let me out (it's been like this for a week, nobody seems to care); there's a huge piece of tile broken/missing in the sauna too. No thanks, that was the last straw 😆. I'm switching gyms for sure. Unless your a teen looking for a place to pick up other teens/film yourself working out, stay away.
