Omg sooo like, walking into EOS Fitness and dealing with Jackie is honestly a journey. She is so firm — like, girl does NOT bend the rules for anyone — but she’s also weirdly loving about it?? She’ll tell you “no” with her little attitude, but then smile like she actually cares, and I’m just standing there like… babe why do I kinda hate you but also feel low-key protected??
And honestly, I feel like we could be friends outside the front desk drama. Like once she’s off the clock and not being Miss EOS Policy Queen, I bet she’s fun. But omg she was low key tea ngl that day… like girl, relax, I’m just trying to get a workout in, not start a war
Overall though Jackie is firm, loving, annoying, iconic, and I hate her but also maybe love her a tiny bit. Very EOS vibes. 💗✨

I genuinely love this gym. It’s clean, it has everything I need, and the environment is usually great. But I’m honestly so annoyed every time I go into the Serenity Studio and try to use the incline bench for crunches. The foot support is broken, so my foot keeps slipping off, and it makes the exercise basically impossible …and unsafe.

I mentioned this to the front desk about a month and a half ago, and nothing has been fixed. At this point it feels like a liability just waiting to happen. I really hope management takes this seriously and gets it repaired soon, because everything else about this location is awesome.

Be very careful when you review the contracts you sign. My 19 year old daughter went in for a basic gym membership and someone seen her as an easy target. They started to withdraw $280 from her bank acct bi-weekly. She couldn't fix it and didn't understand. Shame on them! And apparently this has happened to her friends as well. They need to review their commission policy and ensure employees aren't straight ripping off innocent people! I would never stop foot in there!

This is the closet gym to my house but everything besides the new rack room is Out dated i like the old plates and a couple machines that aren’t really around anymore in the industry but as for everything else its jus worn out and ready to go they have 2 rack rooms adding up to 16 squat racks as for who’s idea that was…..they have one “serenity room” which should jus be called senior citizens room or girls only there is no recovery room even tho it’s in there membership they offer when u go there but are advised to go to other gyms for those benefits they have a cycle room which i haven’t once saw even half way filled the bathroom most of the times smell horrible compared to other eos and the staff are really just not all there somehow while working out there I’ve been charged twice now for someone else’s drink 30 minutes into working out…..If u have eos membership take the extra 15-20 minutes and do yourself and favor and go to a different location

Tried to sign myself and wife up for a membership. Was told the membership employees can do that when they come in at 9am, I came back at 9:20 and nobody was there. 10min later they arrive and walk to the back.

I have had a horrible experience with this gym and it saddens me because it's my neighborhood gym. As a mom of 3 wanting to prioritize getting myself back into the gym I had a balance with this gym of $200 I walked in and asked how to go about paying and was told they had a forgiveness program and that l'd be charged 50 dollars every two weeks until l payed the balance. And for signing up l'd get free personal training sessions. I know it should have been a red flag but eager to do something good for myself and my health I said okay.
I was secretly signed up for personal training sessions that I know cannot get out of that I NEVER agreed to paying for these sessions are hundreds of dollars and well over the Tiny balance that i owed the gym.
Money is tight and to do this to a person is wrong and horrible business practices and I feel like this would have never been done to a man. Please be careful when you sit down at this gym to get signed up fully read what you are signing there's no such thing as free trainings do not get lied to and become a victim of this scam like I did.
I have now read several reviews where this manager lie and tell you you have a balance looking at his screen and that if you pay bi weekly it was going towards the balance you owe while he secretly sign you up for personal training sessions this is exactly what he did to me do not fall for this. What a horrible thing to do to someone esp when their trainers are never even available I’ve been trying to get the initial welcome training for over a month now!

I love this gym! I've not had great 'gym culture' experiences but this gym is cut from a different cloth. It's wonderful! I feel safe, supported, and most importantly included and like I belong as I progress on my fitness journey. I'm encouraged not just by staff but by fellow gym goers. I used to have a membership at this EoS location 8 years ago when I lived and worked in the neighborhood. I then moved to Havasu where no EoS is less than 150 miles so I ended the membership. Now I have the opportunity to spend time in PHX and visited the same EoS location and it was great; the gym 7 years ago was great and now it's even better. I am seriously considering getting a new membership and visit PHX more often.

I’m so disappointed with Eōs Fitness and some of the employees that work there. On 03/30/25 I took “a special promotion of 1$ for a moth.” Then 05/01/25 I went to the gym and I ask the handler/manager they could give me the membership of 9.99$.and he told me that I have to pay 50$ more to do that, I went home and I read the contract and it said that I have 3 days to ask for a refund of a change of membership and he didn’t want to do neither of them. I chose to request the membership by the end of the month, before they before bought me the following month. And he said “of course” today I go to the gym because they charge me this moth. When he told me there were not going to charge me. I’m a single mother and I thought to pay the membership with a friend. But she did not wanted to pay no more.So I can’t pay all the membership by my self. There’s a God and he says everything.

I had a very disappointing experience at EOS Fitness Thunderbird location. When I asked about membership and perks, the person at the front desk, Hanna, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of explaining things politely, she bluntly said, “You have to pay $71, then I can let you in,” which made me feel very unwelcome. A gym should be a place where people go to relax, relieve stress, and feel supported—not to be treated with attitude and disrespect. Hanna’s behavior, lack of manners, and overall rudeness created a very negative impression. EOS needs to ensure their staff treat people with kindness and professionalism.

Eos on 83rd and Thunderbird. This facility is very nice and I enjoy working out here. The gym bathroom and gym floor are clean, all of the equipment works, and a lot of it looks brand new which is also nice! I dont typically like leaving negativity on a business that I enjoy going to and maybe I just hit a streak of bad luck, but this is what I have experienced so far. I signed up for my membership about a month ago. With my membership, I'm suppossed to recieve a "welcome work out session". While signing up for my membership, we also scheduled for that session to be a week later. A week later, I show up for my training session and I'm told my trainer Trevor was in a meeting and they weren't sure how much longer he would be. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I waited for a bit. I ended up waiting almost 45 minutes before staff came over and told me they didn't know when his meeting was going to be over. We ended up rescheduling the session for the next week and the staff were pretty apologetic and assured me that Trevor would call me and confirm the session the day before (I never ended up receiving a phone call). The next week rolls around and I arrive the morning of my training, I go to the front desk and let them know I was there for a training session with Trevor. They let me know that he was sick and was not going to be in that day. I was a bit upset so I told them I don't want to reschedule a second time, the staff was apologetic still, but it was a quick apology with no explanation and to why I wasn't notified. (granted they were helping another customer so I figured they were occupied). I stayed and still did a workout. As I left, I was half expecting one of the assistant managers to come up and talked to me but I glanced over quick to see several of the staff memebers just sitting at desks. I totally understand that people get sick, but I was more disappointed that I didn't receive a phone call to let me know that Trevor would be unavailable again. I'm also mostly just disappointed that I haven't received any sort of apology or been reached out to by Trevor himself (and maybe im writing this too soon because he's sick and I wont expect him to call me right away). I will say that the front desk employee Michael was very kind and genuine and seemed like he cared about my frustrations, and thats why I'm giving this 3-stars. My intent with this review is to not be nasty or drag down a local business, I just want to recieve the same transparency and truth as I am giving in this review. I am willing to change my rating and give an update should this issue be resolved. Thank you for reading.

They do not tell you about all the hidden fees especially with an auto renewal with 30 days notice to cancel something you should have to resign for. They acves your bank account by bypassing your debit card regardless if you change your debit card. Do yourself a favor and get with a company that does not have to swindle people to stay in business. Will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to file an official complaint.
