David is an excellent trainer, my experience with him has been amazing. He has taught me how to use a wide variety of gym machines I used to feel intimidated by. His clear explanations, and encouraging made me feel comfortable learning new techniques and pushing myself in ways I never thought I could. Because of David, I walk into the gym with confidence, knowing exactly what I’m doing and how to get the most out of my workouts. I’m stronger, more motivated, and truly grateful for his support. I highly recommend David as a personal trainer!!!

Really shocked and suspicious of all the 5-star reviews for this place, particularly those that mention cleanliness… the showers and pool area, in particular, are rather disgusting. There are several broken locker doors and other maintenance issues I reported weeks ago that have yet to be addressed (although I doubt the front desk employee even bothered to escalate the request, given the complete apathy she treated me with for trying to be helpful). The paper towels for cleaning equipment, as well, are frequently empty, and not spaced regularly enough throughout the gym.

While there is plenty of equipment, it’s not of particularly great quality. For a gym that’s only one year old, the wear and tear looks disproportionately bad, and I question the safety of many of the machines.

I can’t really fault the gym staff for this, but people are also pretty terrible at cleaning equipment after use (perhaps because there aren’t enough cleaning stations or they’re empty), and returning dumbbells to their proper area. You’ll find them floating all over the place, especially by the squat racks.

Oh, also, they completely bury the “enrollment fee” from membership costs online. Completely unexpected $160 extra when I signed up, plus the nuisance of them forcing me to sit through their whole sales pitch trying to sell me personal training packages when I was clear from the get go I wasn’t interested.

Tyler Costello saved my life on my chest day. I was at the bench, about to hit my PR of 315 when my grip slipped. Tyler ran over and effortlessly lifted the heavy weight from off my chest with his massive, toned arms, literally saving my airways and neck. This location gets way too busy. I gave it a star for location and another for equipment selection but took away stars due to it being a crowded gym (sometimes I wonder if fire code is adhered to because it's so packed sometimes) and because cleanliness could be better, especially in the saunas. The sauna is my favorite but it's disgusting - lots of shoe marks on the wood (it's nearly black now) and at one point, there was a weird, white splotch on the floor for days (looked like someone's excessive sweat or...I don't want to think about what else it could've been)! Even after submitting requests on their website to clean the sauna, it's always dirty and getting worse each week. Parking is a nightmare during rush hours. Staff members are super friendly, but it's almost impossible to get a planned workout done. You have to create a workout based on whatever's open. I'm building a home gym because of the crowding and disgusting equipment/sauna and will cancel my membership when it's complete. I was so excited to have an EOS near me, but this one is horrible compared to others I've been to.

Front desk attendant Michelle is always so sweet and has amazing work ethic. One time my earbuds died mid leg day and she helped me charge them with a USB-C cable literally saved my whole workout. Staff like her really make the atmosphere positive!
My only real complaint about this gym is the check-in process. Having to say my personal phone number out loud every single visit is annoying, tedious, and honestly feels intrusive. That’s a system issue, not a staff issue. Michelle and the other workers do their best with what they’re given.

Tony Tyler is the hidden gem of this place

He’s legitimately one of the best trainers I’ve ever worked with. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set him apart. He’s trained and worked with NFL athletes, and it shows — his drills, corrections, and overall approach are on an elite level.

What makes Tony even more valuable is that he’s not just a great trainer, but also an exceptional massage specialist. He understands the body like very few do. His recovery work, soft-tissue techniques, and ability to pinpoint tightness or injuries have helped me perform better, move cleaner, and stay healthier.

Whether it’s speed work, strength, mechanics, mobility, or recovery, Tony brings real expertise and passion. If you’re serious about improving your performance or taking care of your body, I highly recommend him.

And as a person who has done kickboxing for almost 10 years, I’m disappointed that I don’t have the opportunity to practice here. Please bring the punching bag back! Systemic Staff Harassment and Safety Failure

Update: Since posting this review (10/17/25), it’s escalated to public harassment and slander via fake staff accounts, issues have been forwarded to their district manager. Will update.

Been a member since June 2024
Highly consistent here: 5-6 days/week, always after 7 PM.

Overall Rating: 1/5 Stars Due to Environment and Staff Conduct but
Objective Gym Facility Rating: 2/5 stars.

Pros:
-Excellent selection of lifting and functional equipment (standard for the franchise though).
-Main gym equipment are well maintained and usable. (Made great gains- 30lb of muscle mass regained!)
- 24 hour access.

Cons:
-Staff Harassment (Explained Below)
-Poorly Maintained Hygiene: Cleanliness is unacceptable, especially during peak hours. Bathrooms are often flooded, toiletries and gym floor paper towels are rarely restocked. Sinks are constantly covered in hair and other fluids.
-Staff doesnt enforce equipment wiping
-Broken/Unreliable Amenities: Accessory equipment (massage guns, chairs) is frequently broken or unavailable.

CORE ISSUE- Staff Harassment and Unsafe Environment:

My primary reason for leaving is the alarming, long-running pattern of unprofessionalism and targeted staff harassment. It ultimately resulted in a long term compromised safety environment not welcoming to workout in. To be clear- Everyone’s experience with staff will surely differ, however I have endured months of odd treatments from a handful of staff here, NEVER learning as to why.

I am a quiet, and shy, but focused member who keeps to myself. I have never had a bad interaction with staff or a member… In all truthfulness, I never even really had a prolonged interaction with staff or a member outside of saying a polite “hi” for over a year and a half. I smile and nod, but overall I come to work out, not to engage in making the gym a social hour.

Starting around May 2025, the demeanor of multiple long-term staff members who were always friendly to me before shifted dramatically from polite to openly hostile, demonstrated by sneering, glares, and persistent, focused surveillance.
It was a jarring and increasing observable change from multiple staff members who had been welcoming to me in the past.

Key Incidents of Unprofessionalism:
Repeated Identity Checks: I was suddenly and repeatedly asked to verify my identity upon entry, despite being a consistent and recognizable member for months, while other members passed unchallenged. I always obliged, never causing an issue.

Constant Surveillance: Multiple staff members would constantly linger near me and covertly side-eye me during my workouts for months, even still currently.

Bizarre Confrontation: In late May 25’ (a short time after the behavior shift), A specific staff member cornered me in The Tank recovery area to question me about another member supposedly sneaking in, going so far as to accuse me being said person and asking if I had changed my hair color from blonde to black to evade detection (lol????). This was an unsettling, unprofessional, and aggressive interaction based on what seemed to be highly unsubstantiated staff speculation and "social drama." I laughed confused and showed my membership app on my phone and told him he’s seen me for months with the same style and hair… he then changed the subject and ran away. Said staff member was bizarre (I believe his name is Thunder?). Surveillance, sneering, glaring, and all the odd behavior from staff CONTINUED for months even after I clarified myself. I kept attending til now despite their odd behavior.

Conclusion:
This is not a safe or welcoming environment for anyone who simply wants to work out without engaging in high school social circle drama orchestrated by the staff. The unprofessionalism and immaturity are evident.

No one wants to pay to work out in a hostile environment under constant surveillance (and now an armed security guard as of October 16th, 2025.) I strongly advise potential members to seek an establishment where professionalism and a safe atmosphere are truly priorities.

Not sure about the company as a whole, but if this location is any indicator, good ethics are definitely not a value EOS upholds.

You're letting go of team members under false pretence because grown adults are "crying wolf." And yes, we know who you are. As a woman, that behavior does not sit right with me.

Instead of supporting toxic drama, maybe management should focus on:

Providing better customer service,

Making sure there's actually toilet paper in the stalls

And installing paper towel dispensers so members can actually dry their hands.

Operation Manager is a joke. Terrible customer service. He rather talk around the customer instead of listening. Terrible business and he has a grudge with his own staff. U guys are all a fraud. I canceled in mid 2024. Confirmed it with u guys 3 times and said i was canceled, yet charged me till jan of 2025 and put me in collections. The 19th ave location is a POS too. My daughter never stepped foot in there and the same hour I joined her in person (when 19th ave wasnt even done with the building), I asked to put it on hold till laveen opened. I asked if id be charged and they said NO. This was in 2023. They charged me for 2 yrs without my knowledge. I owed about $300-400. Had no idea and when I signed up in laveen, the customer service dude didnt mention it at all! He never said I had an open acct in 19th ave and had an outstanding balance. EOS is all connected, so why didnt they tell me what was going on? It was the same phone num that was used to join in 19th ave and they decided to open up a 2nd acct in laveen and charged me twice in two separate accts. Long story short, I didnt even know I was in collections till Aug of 2025. Was forced to rejoin just to have some fees waived. As soon as i can cancel, i will do so asap and want nothing to do with EOS. I have never been late on any bills in my life, nor have i ever been in collections till EOS decided to screw me over! U guys are HORRIBLE!

Updating to 1 star, they are changing the check in form to the wallet, which I don't have and don't plan on having, now they are denying access to areas I'm paying in my membership.

You need to come up with a Keychain or something else to tap if you don't feel like having the scanner to your own app.

Not really making a review for the gym but Specifically for the young lady Lesly who works at the front desk not ooonly is she very beautiful outside but extremely beautiful and kind on the inside she went above and beyond for me as a customer for you guys establishment going literally out of her way to ensure I was able to get home safely from the gym I was having phone and car trouble and she was so caring and genuinely concerned and of course I love the gym… the other girl at the front personality sucked she gave blah didn’t care to help and energy have didn’t care to help so to me she was adding to the problem instead of caring about the customers of the establishment it was more like a that’s a you problem energy she gave but Leslyyy she lights me up with kindness and a smile every time I walk in which makes me feel like I know I’ll have a great work out

I'd like to share with you that Tony Tran is an excellent trainer. Every morning you can see him helping gym members early. He always greets us with a smile and a greeting. He's also a master personal trainer. His knowledge of physical therapy has helped me personally.

I signed up for the 7 day free trial for this location. I walked in this morning and was pumped to see the place and check out the weights. I was at the counter with phone in hand ready to show an EOS employee the free trail email. I waited about a minute and decided to go around the counter. An EOS employee waived me in and I jumped right into my shoulder work out. Loved the dumbbell set-up and the ease of how I could go right into another workout. I wasn’t happy about the amount of people there but got in the zone and tuned them out. Feeling my shoulder muscles pumped, I felt good about it. Later that day I received a call from an EOS employee and he explained that I needed to come in and get set up. I told him about what happened this morning and that I didn’t know I needed to do this. I also explained that I wasn’t sure about coming back due to so many people using that gym (I was on the fence). With no further words from him or me after I explained my concern the employee hung up on me. I’m not a big fan of just being hung up on and although I wasn’t really sure about becoming a member at EOS this experience has definitely turned me away. The 3 stars is because it was a really good workout, I haven’t touched a 90 pound dumbbell in a long time.

Tony Tran is the bomb! I’ve been training with him for several months now. He is super encouraging and so knowledgeable about fitness. Good fit even for older gals who need to start from being more stable and coordinated.
