I came to ask the front desk about the class schedule, and they told me I had to upgrade my membership just to see it. I upgraded, checked the classes the same hour, didn’t like any, and went back to downgrade. Suddenly they said I had to pay a $50 fee to cancel.

The manager told me she would refund the $25 because I’ve been a member for a year — but the refund never came. A week later, I did come by asking about my refund she even asked me to leave a 5-star Google review under “DJ” in exchange for a credit. I did it, and she never honored it.

Still no refund, no credit, and my basic membership was raised from $9.99 to $12.99. Completely unprofessional.

Highly recommend this gym! Been going to EOS for 6 years and have traveled to many all over the valley. This location by far is my favorite. It’s has a great layout, lots of new machines never seen before, and the A/C actually works!! This gym has been great since they opened. It's clean, has a great layout, and all the equipment you could need. It's usually fairly busy but it has never felt overwhelming to the point where you feel like you're waiting to do your workout. Everyone who works here is super nice as well! You can't really beat the price you pay either. Like this gym better than Lifetime.

Joined about 2 months ago after the 7-day free trial. Overall, very happy I joined this gym. I come as early as 5:30AM or as late as 8AM and don't tend to have issues using the weights or machines I want to use with the exception of the stationary bike. There is only 1 upright stationary bike with a normal bike geometry and normal bike saddle yet there are a 2 assault bikes and also 4 reclined & "comfy-seat" stationary bikes. Would love it if this EoS would get 1 more of the peloton-like, legitimate stationary bikes. 1 more rowing machine would be great too, though that isn't as big of a deal as not having at least 2 stationary bikes with the standard bike geometry and bike saddle. It appears there are more than enough treadmills, stair-steppers, and ellipticals as I often see many of these open. The extra stationary bike could maybe fit next to the existing one without removing anything too, just slide the ski-erg trainer and the seated arm bike over a bit.

The staff I have gotten to know are great. Shout out to Danny at the front desk who is always friendly and helpful. Also to TJ who gave me my 1-hour welcome workout. He is very knowledgeable and has given me helpful pointers about my workout routine. Hopefully will get to train more with TJ in the future. Haven't trained with Anthony but he is super friendly and always says hello. Most everyone I have met is friendly.

I always see the cleaning staff working diligently to keep the new equipment and overall cleanliness of the gym in great shape. Only constructive feedback is that the guys locker room could get a little extra cleaning every now and then, although, I will say that I can imagine part of the problem is people who are in a rush and don't clean up after themselves.

Thanks to the EoS Bethany Home staff for the great experience so far and if you guys actually read my comment and add another stationary bike you get 6 stars.

The sauna is never hot enough or Hot at all you can’t feel any heat. I have been here 3 times and it’s always the same, it’s pointless to have a sauna that’s not going to be manage properly. I don’t have this issues at other locations, unfortunately this one is the closes to me.

Worst Interview I have ever had.

Cal from EŌS Fitness gave me the weirdest, confrontational, and most disrespectful interview that I’ve ever been a part of. This man is representing EŌS Fitness in the worst way. It took place at 12:40 PM Tuesday 09/09. My interview was scheduled for 12, but he did not see me until 12:40. He began my interview with immediate hostility. He demanded on at least 4 separate occasions that I maintain eye contact with him, interrupting me & gesturing at me to do so, pointing at me using his two front fingers to signal that I needed to focus on him. If I’m trying to illustrate my point with clear articulation, I might need to look around in an attempt to compose my thoughts, I couldn’t possibly look at him the entire time. Even as adults, Cal wasn’t patient enough to accept that. I’m 26 years old, this man is 30, and he has the nerve to treat me like I’m inarticulate or incapable of speaking at his level. The reality of that situation is that he was simply more concerned about dominating the conversation than trying to let me speak to him directly. He asked me, “Why do you want to be a Personal Trainer?” I told him that I have over 5 years of experience in the fitness industry (probably just as much, if not more experience than him). He simply brushed it off, demanding that I re-answer his question with a higher level of eye-contact. I’m being dead serious, he completely disregarded me and demanded I repeat myself, WITH MORE EYE CONTACT. We all come from different backgrounds, and we all see with different perspectives. Excessive eye contact, to some people, can easily be misconstrued as a personal challenge. To watch another grown man, within the same age range as me, trying to belittle me like I was unimportant and a waste of his time, only brought out the worst aspects of my character. It made me visibly on edge. I was shaking, & obviously showing early signs of anger. I began fidgeting and clenching. He was being so hostile and aggressive, it gave me the same physiological response as someone trying to pick a fight with me. What should have been a very promising & optimistic opportunity for us to become acquainted professionally, turned into a pointless argument that went absolutely nowhere. Dude, this guy was a total trip & an absolute clown. He even had the nerve to tell me that he “wished I dressed better” for my interview. I was wearing blue shoes, blue pants, white socks, and a plain black shirt. All my clothes were clean with no stains, and they fit me properly without being too tight, or too baggy. I wouldn’t have thought to tease him about his odd taste in clothing, just out of consideration for him and his feelings. I was dressed fine, meanwhile this man was wearing one, single-hoop earring, with a metal feather dangling off of its end. Listen Cal, I would never get caught dead wearing one, single-hoop earring, with a metal feather dangling off of its end. I have a lot of good friends who are real men, and wearing something like that might give them the wrong impression about me… Also, this man was wearing black pants and a black work shirt, both of which were several sizes too tight for his body. The reason he was consciously wearing clothing too small for his body, was so he can make a desperate attempt to show off his musculature. Hey Cal, just a piece of advice from a real personal trainer: did you know that with consistent training, supplementation, diet, and rest & recovery, you wouldn’t need to attempt to show off your body with outfits that don’t even fit you? If you were really healthy & fit, you could wear clothes your size, and still feel confident in them! If you had my level of knowledge and expertise, you would have known that already! Ponder these thoughts for me bro! Take care and good luck.👍🏽

I was pushed into signing up for PT after doing a body scan stating I was on the verge of severe injury, which realistically is very much not true. I tried cancelling my PT within 3 business days but I was informed I wasn’t allowed to due to my “contract”. No staff member ever shared a copy of my contract nor did they explain the terms of the contract as they rushed me through signing, I had to find it online hidden away. Now I have to jump through hoops and I am currently emailing 3 different support emails in order to try cancel this contract with no resolution. My contract states I am able to cancel within 3 business days but the staff members said I wasn’t allowed to cancel and my only option was to freeze my contract which won’t work for me. I would be cautious if you are curious about Personal Training or else you might be getting charged for a program you can’t afford or don’t want!!

I transferred to this gym when it opened because it is much closer to my home. It’s smaller than the Central location but I only use the treadmill and “yard” area for stretching and calisthenics. That area can get a little crowded; however, I work out mid morning and it’s not too crazy as other reviewers have commented on times when it’s packed. The one improvement that can be made is to add another hand dryer in the women’s restroom and a separate space for folks to dry their hair and put on make up. The changing area is very cramped with lockers taking up a lot of space. Again, I go during the off hours so maybe all those lockers are needed for busy times. I appreciate the attention to keeping the equipment clean - kudos to the cleaning crew! Overall, the staff is very friendly - shout out to Michael who always has a smile and a friendly greeting :-)

Membership sales representatives need more training on how to actually speak with potential new members. My partner is a member at EOS and I’ve been debating on becoming one myself. A month ago I had a call from a nice lady we chatted and agreed they would call again at a later time to discuss signing me up as a member, as at that time I declined. I just got another call from an extremely rude inconsiderate man, he was short in his responses and sounded like he’d rather be doing anything else, the call lasted not even a minute long before he abruptly hung up. This behavior is completely appalling coming from a gym that prioritizes customer service and a comfortable environment for their members. The way he handled the call from start to finish was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and shows a total lack of customer service, care, and support. After seeing first hand how even potential members are treated, I’ve completely decided to just forget about EOS as a whole and move forward with a different gym that prioritizes professionalism and respect.
