I am very grateful to Fitness Collective and the knowledge and support they are providing me with my fitness goals. I have historically been a team sports based athlete and more of a trail enthusiast with hiking and mountain biking, but never a weight lifter. Fitness Collective listens to my goals for sustaining an injury free athletic lifestyle that supports gained strength so that I can continue to have fun with the physical adventures I ask my body to perform. I am seeing increased muscle definition and also performance gains not only in the weight room but out on the trails.

I love Fitness Collective. It is group fitness, but you get individualized attention & a workout designed specifically for you each time you come in. I've been going to Fitness Collective for about two months now, and it's been a fantastic experience. From day one, the team took the time to really understand my fitness goals as well as my limitations with my knee and shoulder. They customized my workouts accordingly and have been quick to adapt when needed, which has made all the difference.

Jenny, Sarah, and Whitney have all been incredible. Their coaching styles are very different, but each is equally effective—whether it’s encouragement, technical precision, energy, or tough love, they each bring something unique to the table.

Honestly, they’re just a few shower stalls away from being the perfect gym.

I had my first training with Christian and it was fantastic! He guided me through the workout making sure I was doing it properly, in the kindest most encouraging way. I felt challenged in the best way! The gym is very nice, clean and organized. Everyone is kind and inviting. Highly recommend!

I truly love this place! I joined almost a year ago, and it has been one of the best decisions I have made in recent times. The staff is a welcoming, yet very knowledgable team - I appreciate and respect what each trainer brings to the table. It is like having a personal trainer with variety. They modify when I need it and push me when I need it as well. The best part is that I see I am getting stronger. 10/10 recommend FC

Fitness Collective has changed my life! I never thought I would look forward to going to the gym and now I can’t wait for my workouts. The entire FC team has been dedicated to helping me be stronger and healthier. They even helped me rehab through a shoulder injury- designing special workouts that helped me heal while also allowing me to continue to move towards achieving my goals. It took almost a year to fully heal and their support never wavered. I have the confidence to take on new challenges, because I know that I am strong enough- and I know that I have a team of people dedicated to helping me. So far I have had an amazing experience at fitness collective. Dillon spent about 45 minutes getting to know my needs and goals on the initial phone call. The first thing that caught my attention when I got to the gym was every trainer (regardless of whether or not I was in their session) noticed I was new and introduced themselves - which means they all know the clientele extremely well! They are all incredibly nice, but so far I’ve worked most with Whitney and Mitch who have been incredible! I just had my second baby and they listened to all my concerns of rebuilding my internal core as well as overall getting back into shape! I can’t wait to see my continued progress (which they make easy as your fitness coordinator tracks your progress) Also, all of the other clients are so warm and friendly, everyone genuinely seems excited to be there!

The people at this gym truly care about keeping you accountable to your fitness goals. If you are dealing with Chronic pain, lack of mobility, or just need to get started in fitness - give yourself a chance and try out Fitness Collective - they write the workouts for you according to your ability and keep you from re-injuring yourself. I did the personal assessment with Joey and they helped me understand where the majority of my pain was coming from. This place has revitalized me in terms of being confident with exercise again. Highly recommend!

Fitness Collective offers many options and a personal touch that is straight from the heart based on your progress not how many member's they can attract. It's a better way to go than a regular gym with hundreds of people. This is designed specifically for you and your goals each week. Everything is available, personal attention and care is abundant and they offer flexibility if something pops up and you need to make a switch for your time slot (when its possible to do so.) Truly life changing (please forgive the cliche). I joined Fitness Collective while in the worst shape of my life. I was overweight, overwhelmed, unmotivated, and held back by some nagging injuries.

I came in for an assessment with Dillon Z., and discussed all of the above, as well as my goals. He assured me that, with effort, I could get back to where I wanted to be. He listened to my concerns regarding some persistent joint issues, and helped devise a plan of attack.

Since joining the gym, I have lost nearly 40 pounds while maintaining most of my muscle mass. I’ve drastically lowered my BMI, and have added strength and stability to all of my movements. Even more - my persistent joint issues have all but gone away thanks to Dillon’s attention to detail and assistance in rehabbing. Throughout the process Dillon was open to discussing any concerns I had, and engaged with me regarding my progress at every workout. It was truly a collaborative experience, and one that left me feeling in control of my health, for once.

I truly cannot say enough about Fitness Collective. The increase in the quality of my life afforded to me by Dillon, Jenny, Whitney and the rest of the team has truly been a gift.

If you’re looking for a gym, you found it.

I had never had a good experience with any gym before this place. At other gyms I paid start up fees, was locked into contracts, and offered “personal training” at an exorbitant cost on top of whatever contract I was already paying. High Altitude has no contracts, no start up fees, and all the trainers really care about each client and their goals. The owners are extremely kind and personable and offer a great service at a very affordable price. After three years here I have not yet had one bad experience and actually look forward to my workouts!

I have been attending HAPT Flagstaff since the end of April and it has been the best decision I have ever made. You get individualized workouts, not conforming to what someone else would need. Kennedee has usually been my trainer and she is always so patient and makes sure that I am doing my exercises correctly to tone the correct muscles. All of the other trainers are really friendly and approachable to ask questions about further workouts or even dieting, will definitely be staying here until I graduate!

I began two-days of training a week last Fall at HAPT next to Paradise Valley Mall. One hour of Stretch and Core and one hour of Strength training per week. My goal was to balance out my muscle strength and control my neck and hip pain. HAPT's instructors design work- outs specifically for my needs each week. Their challenging sets are definetly making a difference, making my body leaner and stronger. Better balanced all over. My husband certainly likes the results. LOL 😁

I have been going to this gym/training facility for over 3 months now and I love it. It's not like a regular gym which I had previously been a member of for decades. The trainers here offer so much kind, personal attention, nutrition plans, if you simply ask for them , ... they care about you and it shows consistently. The other members look forward to coming and getting results. They offer offsite events that help you cook and shop more efficiently to reach your goals, and they are always upbeat and supportive. I recommend this to everyone who is serious about helping yourself advance to a level of good heath and metal changes. The staff are all very fun and some pretty amazing people. It does cost more than a typical gym but these days, more than ever, you get what you pay for and as long as you put in the effort, you will get the result. I'm amazed at how much better I feel because I joined on a whim. I was heading into a sandwich shop in which they are next door to, and ended up going in there instead... it changed me for the better. You won't regret it. I love them.

I am a 67 year old female with lower back problems. I was referred to HAPT by a friend who was working out with them. I haven’t had great success with other gyms and their trainers. I was just another client that they quickly got bored with and their training methods showed it. It was such a waste of money. I felt at home the moment I walked in to HAPT. The staf was so warm, welcoming and friendly. Not only that but their clients were happy as well as extremely focused. The trainers design exercises and workouts designed specifically to your wants and needs that change every single visit. They check your progress every single month and give nothing but praise and encouragement. Not only that, if you want to lose weight or want to eat healthier, they help you with that as well. Bottom line, they care about each and every client. You become like a family. I have made such great progress with them. I used to hate going to the gym and now I look forward to it. They care about your success. Everyone succeeds with them because of their training methods and concern. I LOVE working out with them. Not only that, but I have had very little problems with my back since getting stronger with their help. I have never been to a gym that cares so much. I love this gym and HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

This place is very good. In the past I have worked with personal trainers at Lifetime and LA Fitness and never came close to the results I have seen here. They do a great job of offering personal attention in a group setting. The trainers are pleasant and they offer a complete approach to fitness including help with nutrition. Results are measured monthly so progress can be tracked and modifications to your program made. Great for any age. I would highly recommend.

High Altitude Personal Training is the BEST small group personal training you will find. You get a personalized workout, but in a small group environment. All of the trainers are so knowledgeable, upbeat, friendly and motivating. They ensure you get a great workout each time you set foot in the building. They offer a lot of different services including personal training, spin classes, stretch and core classes, nutrition guidance, assessments, etc. I encourage anyone reading this review to give this business a shot! I have worked out at several different facilities in California, Colorado, Florida and the Valley, with and without a personal trainer. HAPT is by far my favorite! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They make the training and spinning classes enjoyable yet challenging. The equipment and facility is clean, and by working with small groups, it keeps the cost down. If I workout in the morning, before I go onto work, I bring a change of clothes and wash up in a nice, high-end hotel-like shower, and use there thick towels to dry off! Everything about this facility is top-of-the-line. The hours of the classes are very accommodating too for working people, and you can schedule your workouts for a month at a time, which makes me more accountable.

This place is special.
I joined HAPT at a time when I was looking to make a real change in my life. I am one of those people who had a gym membership that I hadn’t used in three years. Why wasn’t I motivated to use it? I took a good hard look at myself and realized the only thing that had motivated me in the past was a great workout partner. But I didn’t have that necessary workout partner. I wondered what might be the next best thing. Small group-training? Maybe? I reached out to several gyms in my neighborhood and HAPT was the only one who returned my call. So glad they did!
I have been going (mostly) three times a week for the last six months. I was much weaker during my first workout than I anticipated, and it made me feel old and sad. But the trainers were so supportive and encouraging and non-judgmental I went back for my second workout, and I keep going back.
This place is special for so many reasons, besides the one-on-one attention, access to people who truly care about your success, educational field trips to Sprouts, foam roller seminars, cooking classes…. I am sure this list will continue to grow. I mean, they already have my money! All they are required to do is train me three times a week. But they do all this extra stuff that just shows how passionate they are about their client’s success, whatever that might look like.
I cannot express how much HAPT has impacted my life for the positive. If you are ready to make a real change in your life, or just have a great time working out with fun people, I would recommend HAPT all day long. So good!

These trainers are the BEST. They are highly trained and professional. They will create a workout designed just for you and hold you accountable for your progress. The facility is gorgeous and brand new! The people there are all nice and make weight lifting not intimidating at all. Love it here! I went for years at their other facility and I am so glad they have expanded to Phoenix. Life Changing!
