When I went this past Sunday night around 7pm, the hot tub was closed, then the steam room and closed then the showers were closed, then the maze/dark room was closed. You guys need to verbally let customers know if Sunday nights are your maintenance nights. You need to let them know BEFORE they pay admission and a locker and you need to make it half price since only half of the amenities are even available for use.

Don’t believe all the negative comments. I visited Flex Phx recently. I had never been to this type of establishment so I went in not really knowing what to expect. The gentleman (staff member) at the window was great at explaining the Do’s and Don’t’s and what extras they offered. I went on a Thurs around 9pm and it wasn’t very busy but there was still a good amount of guests walking around. Plenty of condoms available in containers along the walls and vending machine with extra items. The place was pretty clean and for the most part the other guests were good about consent. The only real complaint I had was the broken or missing tiles in certain areas in the floor. Kinda hard to look appealing to people after stubbing your toe because of a hole in the floor. I had a great time though and spent a couple of hours walking around and mingling. I’m an introvert but the place has a way of making you feel comfortable once you’ve changed out of your street clothes. A suggestion for people that plan to go here is wear socks or sandals bc there are inevitable spots that will be…needing cleaning at that moment before the staff has a chance to get to it. I wish Tucson had one of these places but would definitely stop by Flex again next time I’m staying in Phx.

My previous rating was unfair, and revolved mostly around one experience. All things considered, a five star experience. Yeah, sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s not. You get what you give. It is a discreet location, can’t really see the parking lot and have to slow down to get into the place. Sometimes clientele are an issue but welcome to public spaces right?

Place was fun! I’ve always looked at the reviews and photos but have never gotten good info so hope this helps.

1. You must get a membership AND locker or changing room.

2. If you are a couple, each person needs a membership AND get a locker or changing room.

3. Plenty of dark mazes but are pretty tight spaced.

4. Showers and Sauna closes at midnight or 1am ish which was a big bummer.

5. 1 towel per locker or changing room available.

6. Protection provided.

7. Sauna (Steam Room) was super nice and relaxing

Oh and I waited about half an hour in line but was totally worth it. $66 or something like that for a couple. (Small changing room + locker)

The staff is AMAZING but the facilities need some maintenance. Tiles are missing on the floor that need replacement before some cuts their foot. And the price of rooms recently went up but 5vl of the rooms in the front can't get porn. How hard is it to fix that issue.

I was visiting from Chicago and had an available Monday so I decided to pass the time here. I am not sure I will do so again. Being a Monday afternoon I expected it to be somewhat slow which that was fine. I had hours to spare. I rented a medium room which was clean but a locker would have sufficed during these hours.

I will say that the staff was very friendly! They were working and during my visit closed areas temporarily to give them a cleaning to be reopened right after. This I appreciated!

While exploring I developed a couple splinters due to the wood fixtures that were in the dark. I understand the lighting situation but when having to navigate with hands it can cause issues.

Although the steam room was cleaned the steam was not running consistently so it was like sitting in a damp room.

There seemed to be only two bathroom stalls and one urinal in the establishment. The urinal itself was out of service. Perhaps there were more in other areas but none that I came across.

The shower area had equipment in it I guess for repairs so only two of the showers were usable.

Biggest sadness was that the pool was also out of service. The hot tub was accessible at this time however.

Some of the public seating areas were tattered and torn. Sadly I was not by the time I left.

If I could be guaranteed more (if not all) of the amenities would be in working order I would give this place another chance my next visit.

Update Nov '24: I tried a weekend. A holiday weekend 🦃Wow 😮. It was too crowded 🫣 lol.

Nov. '23: I have probably been here 8 times in the last 10 years. 🤫 And every time I go I ask myself why? 🤔

I do like the outdoor jacuzzi which is actually hot 🥵 and the outdoor patio and heated pool is very nice. It's ideal for nude sunbathing on a Sunday afternoon. There is a sofa and fire pit 🔥area for those cold🥶 nights and of course that's a must since it's the smoking section🚬

There's also a grill ♨️ area but I've never seen it used or even seen advertisements for a cookout weekend.🌭 Update; apparently there is a Sunday afternoon BBQ.🍔

There is a very small maze area which needs to be improved. And then another small room which also needs to be improved. And then a larger video room which could use some improvement. Perhaps the video could be on? There's another TV screen on the outside of that room that isn't on either.

They have a sling room which is very nice. And when I was there it was quite popular 😈
It looks like it could be a group rental feature.

One unique thing is the premium rooms have their own bathroom🚽

The whole place could use a makeover. It always has.
Perhaps I go every once in awhile to see if anything has been improved 🤷🏻‍♂️ The 🚿 shower area was improved and it is very nice. The water is 🥵 hot and there are several rainheads.

There is a fairly large steam room but it really could be arranged in a better configuration. They do not have a sauna at all. Not sure why except who needs a sauna in the desert?🏜️
But wouldn't that be nice on cold winter nights 🤔

My husband & I always enjoy coming to Flex. We are always greeted by the front staff. We enjoy sitting at the pool & hot tub. We also like the blackout nights & meeting new people. Sometimes the other customers who are walking around are very rude & they like to push people around in the dark room, but other than that. We have so much fun @ Flex. We are looking forward to spending our fun time next week during Thanksgiving weekend.

I miss that doghouse so much... man . 25 now but the moment 18 hit I remember hitting up both bathhouses multiple times every week🥵🥵🤤😳❤ I made my mind up and I could really gift myself a visit but I'd go running if the owner would work a little bit with me cause idk ... the sling room was and is my favorite memory. I just went here for the first time after months of debating. I drove 70+ miles and my God was it worth it. I was afraid I was going to be wasting my money, but I went during Blackout Friday and felt like I was in heaven. I'm already planning my next trip. The whole thing, it was an experience and I felt like I truly belonged.

The staff was kind and accommodating with my hearing disability. I spent money to get a premium room which I used to sleep and stay the night because no way was I driving back home after the night I had. Then I had even more fun in the morning but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. What others said about the place is true, ot could use bit of an update. Some TLC will go a long way but overall, 10/10.

EDIT: I went down again on May 3rd and like before, had the time of my life. Planning to go again within the next 3 weeks and will continue to do so for as long as live. The Flex is everything I'm looking for and more. I lowered the rating by one star for a hiccup mostly on my part. I rented a locker and wasn't aware after your initial 8 hours are up (I thought the locker was included with the 24 hour day pass), you will be charged overtime which is $20 an hour. That's... insanely steep if you ask me. I think it would be a better business practice to just charge you for another 8 hours but hey, just because I learned the hard way doesnt mean you have to. So newcomers, please bring a watch to keep track of the time! It's insanely easy to just get lost in all the fun you're having! Other than that, amazing place and can't wait for my next visit!

EDIT 2: This will be my last edit. I recently went down for Blackout Friday. This was my 4th time visiting and like before, I had the time of my life. Everything went as it should have unlike on my 3rd visit. I went into overtime again due to a miscommunication error on upgrading to a room but thankfully, the Owner was helpful and understanding in resolving the issue. I was afraid it was going to be my last time visiting flex, but thanks to the Owner, I will keep coming back amd continue to do so for years to come. I truly love this place and can't wait for my next visit. Raised my rating back to 5 stars for excellent customer service. You earned it!

Just did the blackout Friday it was amazing time the only issue I said I would have is the gym needs to be closed around 11:00 p.m. when it starts no one uses it after them so it doesn't make any sense why I have it open we'll go back again on a Friday night another issue I would say the staff needs to have glow in the dark t-shirt so when they walk around people can get out their way

In December, my partner and I bought memberships and entrance fees. We went back the end of April and were told our membership expired in December. I tried to explain to the person. He said he couldn’t do anything, I would have to talk to the manager. He gave me the hours the manager was there. He was never there when I called. Left messages to have him call. No response. Looks like they just grabbed my money and won’t respond.
Makes me wonder what kind of business they are running.

Got Scammed… There is a sign on the window when you are paying to enter that says on weekend re-entry is not permitted between 8p and 4a. However, when I tried to step out at 5:30p they said I would not be allowed to come back without paying the full price again. The person at the front desk was extremely rude and hostile.

I went Dec 31 23 , paid for a year membership and a locker. The towel was a rag. They said it was all they had. There was only 25 people there.
Yeah they had to put out the fire in the parking lot from shooting off fire works.

I came back a week later I paid 28.00 for a locker . There was no record of me paying a years membership fee. There were several tvs stuck not playing any video.
Again employees outside shootings off fireworks. All you have is a rag for a towel.

So don't pay in cash.

I love this place. The dark room or play room, what ever it's called is too bright but otherwise I love it. There used to be a play room on the other side down the hall way. I miss that. I went to Flex this past weekend. Had a great time. But they really do need to do something about the lighting. The maze/dark room was way too bright. I was not allowed in because I did not have a drivers license. I fully understand the need for clear identification customers. I had a government issued ID with my photo, Several credit cards with my name on them, I had a picture of the front and back of a valid drivers license, I could go onto the state motor vehicles website and prove my license was valid and had a picture of my valid license with me, I had other store card s with a photo ID of me and my name on it. All of this information and a little common sense (which was totally lacking from the supervisor) I could prove who I was, where I lived, and my age. With much less information I would be able to obtain a drivers license! . In other and much larger organizations, I was able to rent a car (Avis) , rent a hotel room (Hilton), go through airport TSA security. I am not disparaging the establishment except for this mindless rule and supervisor. And seriously???? A private member ship bathhouse??? Can’t they use common sense to accept alternative ID? Far larger organizations can. Give me a break. Very dissatisfied so I went and spent my money elsewhere.

The place is a dump. In dire need of repair, if the hot tub is working, the steam room is closed. If the steam room is open, the hot tub is closed. The staff never lets you know that the ammenities are not available. Sometimes, the maze is closed. Sometime the pool is closed. Its hit or miss. I was at FLEX last night and noticed a man that remained in the same position (same spot/corner spot overlooking 3 areas-particularly the big room-, not interested in others or talking) during the entire full length of my stay who appeared to be a dealer of sorts or what appeared to be a deal. I overheard him say: "Good to see you to another gentlemen, pulling him into an embrace/hug and they both reached low with their hands to pass off some cash. I know there's a hard no on bags now, but how did anybody not notice on the cams this kind of behavior the entire night? FLEX is fun but this is ridiculous.

Your no bag policy most def isn't stopping these types of individuals from still doing their business and apparently on the ground floor as well now.

Edit: The room rented directly across from the small room near the big room is where the guy was in and right outside the door at the corner when coming out. I mean, what's the point of the no bag at this point? For years this hasn't been an issue but all of a sudden, it has. Doesn't make sense.

Just like the below post from which Anthony stated, they do not allow any form of bag of any type since they believe this is the only means of some of their clients from bringing in illicit substances particularly "T" and "H". They won't check pockets, but they'll deny bags when all it takes is for someone to hide stuff on their body, pockets or shoes. They did in fact used to allow bags and the problem is still going on even without a bag. They somehow get alcohol in too.

It appears they changed their pricing all of a sudden and discontinued some of the benefits including the gym, more expensive than any of the other FLEX locations. A shame they didn't have the decency to communicate (Poor Communication) this change on their social mediums let alone their own website that these changes would go in affect in ex: date. Some of these other FLEX locations still have their same pricing and benefits intact. :V

Let's just say, I prefer old management Pre-Cvd days.

It is great when visiting Phoenix as it is the only place in town that has a pool and full spa. The downfalls of this place is that the staff can be rude the rooms DO NOT have a locked compartment for your valuables (every other place I’ve visited has this) and they have raised the prices so it is a bit Expensive for 8-hours, so sadly I can’t frequent Flex as often.

I came from Chicago to Scout out the area a while back checked in with flex it's a nice place there's a few recommendations I'd have for him if they would take the advice I know the bathhouse industry I run a very successful one in Chicago and I purchase some land in the Phoenix metropolitan area im doing a three-story bathhouse will give future updates via Facebook and I'll let everybody know what to look for in the future as for now Flex is a nice place but I aim to give them a run them and Chute my project is already approved by the city council and the state and also the county so we will see

Just went back here they raised prices for what reason power is loosing business
When new place opens this place will close as well as chute
These places are dilapidated out dated and lacking sex appeal

Great pool. jacuzzi. Larger rooms with videos. Smaller rooms and just the locker. Of course the eye candy.... Much improved lately.... Only negative is the high pricew at peak tomes.

I almost always have fun and good time but the last 2 times I went the staff seemed numb ... my room was not clean and still had the previous persons discarded items in the room. After a run around I was offered a different room and seemed like things were looking better but we discovered ANTS were all over the room.... tried to get staff to fix the situation but they ignored the issue.... so I left... no refunds offered.... It is not to cheap to get room lockers for guest

A private club where members can relax and unwind. From the outside it looks questionable but once inside there are a number of play rooms and a decent gym. Let's not forget the salt water pool and jacuzzi. I love their extra large steam room. The crowd is always mixed with a good variety of some pretty hot Guys. And believe me they are not shy. Mix and minglle make new friends. It's the perfect place to hide out or just get away without leaving city limits. Oh and how could I forget on Sundays they have a poolside BBQ event serving free cheese burgers and hotdogs with all the trimmings.😉

Only an "all male facility" he was very rude on the phone. Hung up on me. I was traveling from Chicago to Phoenix I saw this place had fabulous reviews and then he was a complete jerk on the phone. Wishing I could give no stars very disappointed.

It's not a bad place just a bad rep.

There is a pool, hot tub, TVs, maze ect. I have seen the staff cleaning areas several times while I was there. The pool is also clear of any leafs or dust. Prices are expensive, best days is Monday/Tuesday since those are the cheapest days. They are also often the busiest days.

The guy selection there is very hit or miss. But I have met polite and respectful men there. It's cool to try your luck or just hang out. Only pool in all of AZ where clothing is optional.

One thing that does need work on is getting guys in there. There are too many days where its a ghost town.

This was my first visit. I have been to other spas in other cities. I found FLEX to be clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. I was able to move about comfortably. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but still plenty of amenities with the weight room, sauna, hot tub, mazes and movies.

I did go on a Tuesday morning so it was very reasonabel too and yet there was a good number of men there. I was really looking forward to laying out in the sun a little and this time allowed for plenty of open seats in the sun with full sunshine. It was very relaxing. I also found some time to play with some of the other patrons which is all part of the relaxation of going to a spa.

I can only imagine it is that much more fun during busier times, but this time was perfect for my needs. Thanks FLEX! and thanks to your staff there too!
