I always felt like an outsider at the gym, it got to a point where I would always make excuses not to go workout. Four months ago, I reached out to Rick and within a week, I finally felt like I belonged there.
Rick is very knowledgeable, understanding, and hilarious. He teaches you how each work out is done, what muscle is being targeted, and good form. Rick is an amazing listener, during our consultation I told him about my social anxiety and PTSD, he created a game plan for me that I've been able to stick to.
Lastly and most importantly, he makes these workouts fun. I actually look forward to our sessions together. Rick is a great conversationalist and has tons of great stories to distract you from the pain and suffering of working out. He will push you but he is right there to motivate you through the whole thing.

I started working with Rick in February via virtual coaching and have loved my experience. I highly recommend working with him to anyone seeking a highly effective, professional and incredibly kind trainer who genuinely cares for his clients. He goes above and beyond and knows what he is doing!

Training has exceeded my expectations, especially because I'm working with him via virtual and his care still comes through even by text and voice note! Before working with him I had just had my body composition assessed by my doctor and it was recommended I put on 15lb of muscle. I was intimidated at first because I've never done weightlifting. I also needed an incredibly flexible program because I am a stay at home mom with two little ones and a different schedule every day that often can change at the last minute. I was hoping to receive some accountability and support in building out a new routine (and in a way a new identity as a gym goer/weight lifter) that could help me put on 15lb with an unpredictable schedule.

Rick eased me into 6 workouts per week in a way that would allow my body to get conditioned without injury so I can work my way into lifting heavier with proper form. I was surprised how effective having a trainer available by text would be. The demos of the exercise through the app are easy to follow and Rick is incredibly responsive and speedy at clarifying, answering questions, and making the weight adjustments my unique body needed.

At the first month's measurements, all the muscle groups we measured had grown! And now we're getting into a bit of optimization nutritionally, to really hone in on the body composition that is both ideal and healthy (I am relatively lean, and wanting to keep my body fat % in a healthy/optimal range while also putting on the muscle). I've learned nutrition for weightlifting is different than general healthy eating, and Rick's guidance is seamlessly helping dial that in, too.

I highly recommend working with Rick to someone seeking a highly effective, professional and incredibly kind trainer who genuinely cares for his clients (yes- it even comes through virtually by text and voice notes and on our measurement days). He goes above and beyond and knows what he is doing!

After a couple go-rounds with covid and a boutique with a-fib and it's recovery I had lost my way and my training drive.. need a jump start. I found Rick and we started a 3-a-week re-training program to get me back in the gym and making a healthy comeback. My wife never worked out a day in her life and while I had, definitely found out it wasn’t the most efficient way. It also didn’t accompany the nutritional aspect that we found out was hugely important. Rick helped us out with both of these. The most important thing it gave us was accountability. Paying for something gives you a great reason to show up and stick to it. I invest/manage people’s money for a living and can say with certainty this was easily one of the best investments I’ve ever made for myself and family. The feeling of seeing your body morph into a leaner, more muscular, healthier overall individual has been great for my me, my wife and overall family. It positively affects everything from general mood, appearance, and most importantly, longevity. Rick is professional and expects that you are the same in regards to effort, timeliness for workouts, and communicates regularly for scheduling even adding workouts for you to accomplish if you’re on vacation and don’t have access to a gym. Rick is well worth the investment and if you are really serious about making a change in your health and appearance he is the one to contact.

First met Rick when he was at Orange Theory fitness.. He was the best instructor in the house. I was fortunate enough to score some training sessions with him and glad I did..
