Gold Medal Gymnastics (GMG) is the place to be. The trainers are top tier. The space inside the gym is huge. Another thing I love about GMG is the cleanliness. The staff is constantly sterilizing throughout the gym in between classes. The owner, front desk staff, and trainers are upbeat, as well as professional.
P. S the owner is a gold medalist. She was apart of the USA 🇺🇸 Gymnastics team 1996. Amanda Borden is amazing. Because of the way the gym is operated, I see future Olympic gold medalist.

We liked it at first but not really loving it anymore they encourage you to “drop off your kid” when you pay thousands of dollars to their gym. They give team parents one medal red bench to sit on or you get uncomfortable bleachers that are a million miles away from team side. Then if you do say and watch they all look at your because your sitting on the red bench. Coaches are decent. Staff is not friendly at all. They throw in dance and ninja and give them more seating then team parents when team parents are paying ten times the amount.

BEST of the BEST! We've been apart of the Gold Medal family on and off for 5+ years. We absolutely love the staff and our kids LOVE their classes. Their staff is on it and seem to have everything down to a T. Love being apart of the gymnastics/ninja family. Appreciate you all!

We did homework finding a Gymnastics gym. Gold Medal was referred. This gym is the example of excellence from the facility to the coaches, immediately felt welcomed and became family.
We couldn’t be more happy. Our Daughter loves her coaches and has made quality friends and relationships. Her confidence is boosted and physical ability has improved tremendously in a short time.
Thank you Gold Medal Gym!!

We've been going to Gold Medal since 2018. Both of my kids started in the parent/tot class and have moved their way up. The coaches are so kind and encourage the kids. My son has a hard time regulating his emotions sometimes and the coaches are very patient with him and show so much care. My daughter has grown more confident and independent and loves Ninja. And it's not just the coaches. Everyone on staff is caring and kind and greet all of us with a smile. I love chatting with them in the cafe and getting to know everyone better. Thank you Gold Medal for being a part of family and welcoming us into yours!

This gym is great, unfortunately we are moving on to other activities. My daughter did gymnastics here and my son did ninja warrior. The gym is huge so the groups aren't on top of one another, plenty of space to sit to watch, snack bar, very cleanly. My son loved Ms. Emily, they changed the obstacles every week to keep it interesting. All the coaches were fun and energetic. Would highly recommend this gym.

Warning. Long review:
They have a nice program set up. Most coaches and staff are great. One lead staff member in particular is selective in which parents and kids she prefers and is great for the families she genuinely likes.
When correcting children, some parents she will approach first (which is customary) and then approach the child. Other parents, she will avoid completely. I’ve been attending here with my children for some time now, and her avoidance of me in particular (which I find odd) has occurred on several occasions.
When initially signing up I spoke with her about my eldest child (who has high needs) and found that they did not have space for his needs, even in a one on one setting during non-busy hours. Which, I accepted. As a high needs parent, it is not uncommon to be rejected from programs due to not having staff capable of handling certain types of children.
Ever since initially signing up though, and after being told my eldest could not even attend a free trial class (again, I accepted), I’ve felt a prejudice, from this staff member in particular, towards myself and my other two children who do attend.
My daughter is extremely athletic, but has had boys intentionally harm her in a very dangerous way during ninja (we do both ninja and gymnastics) and all that they asked was for the boy to say sorry. My daughter had to sit out for a bit because she was hurt (she has brothers, and usually bounces back quickly).
My youngest son can be aggressively affectionate. In that same class that my daughter was injured, he lift hugged a girl student (his friend) but dropped her in a way that she fell on the floor. She wasn’t injured, just startled and was able to happily complete the class. He did this right after the warm up, and was told to sit out for the rest of the class (missing 45+ min of class).
This staff member immediately addressed the parent of the girl. Then addressed this parent again at the end, who was happy with how they handled the issue. They did not speak to me until after class was over and they spoke to my son before even looking at me.
They never spoke to the parent of the boy who intentionally pushed heavy equipment at my daughter causing her to get slammed against the fence. Never spoke to me about her injury. Just asked he say sorry and asked her if she needed ice.
I get asking kids to apologize and then allowing them to move on. Especially when they’re young. And having a high needs child, I get having to deal with tough situations, regulating and de-escalating not only children’s emotions but adults emotions.
For whatever reason, I don’t understand why this staff member treats me different from other parents. And treats some children’s behaviors intensely while others more mildly. I don’t understand it.
Other than my negative experience with this staff member (and my negative observations of other specific staff member(s)) which is confusing, I’ve found most other staff are great. And the program overall is well set up.
I hope this long review was well explained so that any other parents who attend here or who are considering attending understand where I was personally coming from. I think most people who attend here have no issues and enjoy the program very much.
I have a set date to stop attending here, and will be looking for another program for my kids to attend and enjoy. I hope that if you do choose Gold Medal Gymnastics, for any of their programs, that you will sincerely enjoy it, and that your kids will find success here.

Can’t recommend this place enough!!! We came over here from The Little Gym, which just wasn’t as professional as we wanted. They work on the same concepts each week but do it in new fun ways. You can tell the teachers really plan it out. Everyone is so energetic & nice. Plus there’s a coffee shop inside… need I say more? ;)

First and foremost, the coaches at Gold Medal Gymnastics are exceptional. With Amanda Borden's expertise and experience as an Olympic gold medalist, the coaching staff comprises a talented group of individuals who are passionate about nurturing young gymnasts into their full potential. These coaches not only possess an extraordinary depth of knowledge in the sport but also demonstrate immense dedication and care towards each and every athlete.
What sets Gold Medal Gymnastics apart is the sense of family that permeates throughout the facility. From the youngest beginners to the most advanced gymnasts, everyone is welcomed and supported. It's truly heartwarming to witness the camaraderie and sense of unity among the athletes. The encouragement and support they receive from their peers and coaches foster an environment that nurtures growth, self-confidence, and resilience.

We have been going to Gold Medal since 2017. The staff is wonderful and my kids love going. The gym is very family oriented and very comfortable. I have met the owner several times and she is the most down-to-earth person, who genuinely cares about making gymnastics fun. I think the best part is they treat everyone like family. All around the best gymnastics gym you could have your kids attend.

This is the absolute best facility we could have ever hoped for. The front desk ladies are literally the kindness people I have ever met and the teachers are the best!! Our daughters love coming here and look forward to it every single week! We can’t wait until our son is old enough so we can enroll him in the ninja classes! If you’re thinking about coming here do yourself a favor, JUST ENROLL! You won’t regret it, we are so happy to be a part of this facility! Thank you Gold Medal for all you do!!!

I have been needing to post this for some time now. As I sit here and watch my 4.5 year old in class I thought- no better time like the present!
We did a few trial classes looking for the right gymnastics place to join. When we came here to Gold Medal (Chandler) we knew right away it was a great fit!
It is open and airy… plenty enough space for parents and kiddos. It’s bright and CLEAN!! Just on the setup alone I recommend it!
But then there’s Ms. Megan…. My kiddo cannot wait each week to see Ms. Megan!! I am 99.9% sure all the instructors here are awesome from what I’ve observed- but Ms. Megan is really exactly what my kiddo needs!
You can tell she actually LIKES what she does, and that makes all the difference. My kiddo sometimes needs redirection, caring correction, and encouragement. Ms. Megan does it all!
Keep up the good work Gold Medal!
Thank you!

We attend open gym occasionally here and have always had a blast! Coaches are all over to help keep an eye on kids and show correct moves if needed, but mostly parent guided. We haven't had the opportunity to attend classes yet but live the staff so we look forward to when we can add that to our schedules.

I've been bringing my girls here for a few years for open gym, and we hosted my daughter's birthday party here a year ago. We love the facility, the staff and the overall feel. It's clean and well run and my kids always have a ton of fun. We decided to sign up our little one for actual classes and she just started but she loves it so far. The coaches are staff were super friendly and helpful getting everything going and making her feel welcome. I would recommend GMG for sure!

1996 Atlanta Olympics. Amanda Borden from the magnificent seven.
Amanda owns and runs this and the Gold Medal Gymnastics in Tempe as well. Amanda coaches along with walking around, talking with gymnasts, encouraging them to try new skills, helping them get over fears. The gym is amazing! They have two vault tables with mats behind them and one vault table into the pit. There are three sets of uneven bars along with two single rails and a pit bar. There are twelve beams in total, 6 low beams and 6 high beams. The floor is the normal competition floor size with two foam rezis to learn new skills on. There is a mirror by the floor so you can watch yourself do a skill or perform a routine. There are two tumble tracks. One for team and one for recreational gymnasts. There is a recreational floor along with 7 or 8 beams. There are recreational star bars along with some monkey bars and fun bars for the younger kids. Gold Medal Gymnastics also has a dance room where most of the girls do conditioning in. There is also a sports court where many of the levels warm up, condition or sometimes play games.
Right when you walk in you see the amazing front desk and the awesome staff that works there. You also can see the competition schedule on the wall to your right. On your left, there is the pro shop where they sell leotards, shorts, sports bras, scrunchies, doll leotards, ect. There is the uneven bar ( snack bar) where they sell chips, fruit snacks, popcorn, granola bars, drinks, fruits and many other items.
So if your looking for a gymnastics center for your child, please pick Gold Medal, it's amazing and so friendly!

Gold medal gymnastics has changed my life. For a few years I was doing gymnastics at az dynamics and k would just say that they are terrible. Bad owner and terror staff they made you feel like you weren’t able to do anything but what they taught you. But gold medal lets you try new things. When I first went to gold medal I thought I wasn't going to make any freinds in my new team. But I find that not that hard it was very easy to make freinds and the coaches want what is best for you. And they are always there for you. When I was at gold medal I didn’t have my round off backhand spring until one of my favorite coaches helped me get it and get over the fear of doing it. And they fixed my vault and with dynamics they didn’t even watch you. I am very grateful for gold medal gymnastics. Just this week I went to there summer camp so much fun!! It’s a blast there all the coaches are involved with you. And they have lots to do there. There owner Amanda Borden is a very good owner with her husband brad. I highly recommended gold medal gymnastics. And staff is amazing. And the front desk always helps you with what ever you need.

I'm just a dad with a 9 yo girl on a gymnastics team, and it's the first year I've been going to lots of meets all over Arizona. This place might be great for the gymnasts, but it's by far the worst for spectators, especially parents trying to get video of their kid. Everything is jammed into one corner and you can't see much of anything, and the bleachers are terrible. Crowded and uncomfortable as hell.
