I am infinitely grateful that I met Rigo who is head of Ideal Physiques. Rigo asked me a series of very insightful and direct questions to really get at what I wanted from personal training and what my barriers had been in the past from committing to a gym program. He told me had the perfect trainer in mind for me, and quickly connected me with Lauren Haycraft. I couldn’t have known how right he was about her being a perfect fit!

After now having worked with Lauren for over 3 months, she has been a more incredible trainer to work with than I could have hoped for. Lauren is patient, knowledgeable, resourceful, communicative, adaptable, dependable, wise, and kind. I am 38 and have rheumatoid arthritis which has been fairly well managed over the years, however I often experience notable pain in my wrists and ankles when I tried to work out. This caused me major discouragement that concentrated pains would usually stop me from working out harder, or working out at all - I was very worried about making things even worse for my RA, my pain, and especially about creating bad habits in the long run for myself. I knew that I would need the professional guidance of a wise personal trainer in order to ever overcome this mental blockage and also feel 100% confident that I was building the appropriate strength and weight training foundation.

Working with Lauren has revitalized my hope and brought peace of mind that I am capable of making these changes, and working through the discomforts of growth in a safe and guided gym environment. We are very communicative during workouts and she literally always has a suggested modification or tweak to ensure the movement feels right for me and is working the right areas. I feel proud and happy that I’m taking steps towards becoming a better version of myself. I’m starting to feel stronger physically especially in my arms and shoulders, and my legs, but the best part is knowing that no matter what, I am showing up for myself by going to my sessions. Lauren has fostered this trust and environment for me by always being completely present and wildly helpful on the journey so far. Can’t wait to see where the next few months of training lead and I know I’m in the best possible hands.

For the past 6 months I worked with fitness trainer Lauren. She really helped me develop my gym confidence, she gave great tips to help with workouts which I will be taking with me moving forward. Such as tripod foot. She would also make sure I improved by encouraging to increasing the weight (even when I’m not looking to prove I can do it) when I would doubted myself. Overall, she remind me not to underestimate myself, and she was great to workout with which also came with good conversation.

Had an amazing year of training with Ideal Physiques! I remember this time last year feeling very directionless when it came to my new year fitness goals. After hopping on a call with Rigo, I felt incredibly hopeful about the year to come. I got to work with amazing trainers including Lauren! My trainer Tyler is truly phenomenal! I have been with him going on three months! I went from 235 to 209. With Tyler it’s not about just losing the weight though it’s about your health and building strength and stamina! He focuses on technique instead of just going through the motions and adding weight just to say you’re adding weight. Couldn’t ask for a better trainer ! I can only imagine my strength, stamina , and weight loss when I reach a year!

Jakob has been great to work with! He really cares about every single clients health and well being and goes above and beyond. The workouts are great but he also takes the time to rehab muscles, massage, and stretch to ensure you are performing at the best of your ability. I have been training with Ideal Physiques for a little over a year now and I absolutely LOVE IT.

Mary is EXCEPTIONAL and I am incredibly grateful for everything that she has helped me to accomplish so far. She radiates positivity and always pushes you to reach goals that you didn't even realize you could.

I was nervous about starting to work out again after not being in a gym for nearly 5 years. Ideal Physiques (shout out to Mary again) made it such a fun and simple process and I fully recommend joining if you are on the fence about it at all. It is 1000% worth it and I am looking forward to continuing the journey.

SIDE NOTE: do not be afraid to join group sessions! I was pretty insecure at the beginning and was concerned that people would look down on me for being less in shape or not as strong as the rest of the group but EVERY SINGLE PERSON (trainer and trainee) that I have met through Ideal Physiques is crazy supportive and will motivate you to continue to just do your best.
