Update! Thank you for your response as this would be the first and quickest response I’ve got from your company. I would like to add that you are correct. It is very easy for people to make up lies just as easy is it is for a company to deny honest reviews, which is what you are doing. I’m not sure what sort of record you are looking for but I have emails, time and dates I called and left messages for the owner there. Not to mention i physically walked in there more than once to speak with the owner and never was called back. I won’t go back and forth. This is my honest review that I am entitled to.

!!!As anywhere of course but when I tried to let the owner Sam know she was terrible about getting back to me. She actually never gets back to you about anything. When I finally got ahold of her she had nasty attitude instead of taking ownership about never calling me back after several promises. She acknowledged getting the messages to get back to me but didn’t. Definitely pulled my kids out and found a much better environment. Thumbs down. 👎

Both of my kids have been going to Impact Gymnastics for 2 years. We love it there! The days they have classes or open gym there are some of our favorite days! The environment is so comfortable and inclusive. You feel at ease right away.
Both my son and daughter have had excellent coaches and learned so much. We especially love Coach Rachel who teaches acro - which compliments my daughter's dance perfectly. Coach Rachel has also been a dance teacher for many years and she is getting her degree in physical therapy, so she has extensive knowledge of how the body works. She has helped teach my daughter skills in a way that just clicks for her. Coach Rachel is always kind, engaged, and very encouraging. I am so grateful she is one of the mentors in my daughter's life!
Coach Cody is both my daughter and son's tumbling coach. In addition to that, he is the head Coach for Impact's fun, new competitive cheer team. He has coached some of the most talented kids at our dance studio and his classes are always full. He has a lot of knowledge and experience - all the kids love him!
The front desk has always gone out of their way to help me whenever I had questions about scheduling or making up classes. I even needed ice one night for a burn I got on my hand before I arrived and Shereen was so kind when she gave me ice and she went out of her way to ask how my burn was the next time she saw me. This example just shows how much they go above and beyond to make Impact Gymnastics a great place for the whole family! Gabby Anderson, the Gymnastics Manager, will recognize you and your child and go out of her way to be friendly and welcoming every time she sees you. I have also met the owner Sam Baltierrez. She was professional and showed how much she cares about the kids and families that come there. Their new, remodeled facility is quite impressive! I recommend Impact all the time. I even carry their cards in my purse! Thank you for being such a valuable part of my children’s growth and development, Impact!

Coach Mia is great with my 3 year old daughter, this has been my daughter's first instructional class and I feel like Impact does a great job with littles! We also love their open gym time they offer- it's been a favorite for both my 3.5 and 1.5 year old. Grateful to have a safe space and community.

My kids have been attending Impact since our oldest was 2 and 1/2, she’s 12 now. Impact Gymnastics has supported our kids physical and social health. Impact is filled with talented kids, with a diverse group of families. This gym has fun, encouraging, and a very supportive staff. Even through Covid, Impact was always there for our kids to go be safe, learn skills, and find a physical and creative way to express themselves. I am so grateful that Impact Gymnastics is a staple woman owned business in central Phoenix.

I have had such an amazing experience at Impact Gym. We started out with our daughter on the rec side and since she has worked her way to the team. Each step of the way we have had such wonderful coaches.

The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and truly dedicated to helping each gymnast grow, no matter their skill level. They create a fun and encouraging environment that keeps kids motivated and confident.

We recently enrolled our youngest daughter into their Active Kids class and she just loves it. Her coach is so loving and patient!

They have a huge schedule of classes. So no matter your schedule I am sure they have a time and a day that works for you. Also check out their camps. Whether it’s for Fall break or Summer they always off camps for kids when school is not in session. Impact even offers parents night out. So for a very reasonable fee kids can be dropped off in a safe location where they have tons of fun while parents can enjoy a date.

Their facility is well maintained and always clean too!

My daughter has been at Impact on their competitive team for about 3 years now. I could not ask for a more supportive and positive group of people to coach my child. They focus on the entire child—and remember that they aren’t just trying to raise an awesome gymnast, but also an amazing human being. Competitive gymnastics is a physically and mentally brutal sport. The Impact family manages to make it fun, safe, challenging, and rewarding. We love Impact!!!

Scammers. The coach ended class 5 minutes early. My son stood around for a documented 20 minutes in the Ninja class. If the kids aren’t moving then what are parents paying for? When I asked about it I was told management is at a “conference”. They were at that conference for a week without communication about what was going to happen. I was in gymnastics myself for over twenty years, former teacher, please stay away from these scammers.

We had a joint birthday party for our granddaughters, ages 4 & 2, at Impact Gym on a Sunday between 11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. My daughter worked with Mia Sandler, Kinder/Party Director, who made the arrangements. When we arrived 30 minutes ahead of time, we were met by Shereen, Cody & Alana, who helped us carry the party supplies in & set up the decorations. Cody handled the waivers, as the guests arrived.
Everyone had a fabulous time!! We ordered pizzas for lunch at 12:15. After eating, the party guests were asked not to re-enter the gym area (wise rule - as full tummies & bouncing equipment do not make a good combination.)
Throughout the party, Shereen, Cody & Alana kept an eye on the children, along with the parents, and made sure things ran smoothly. They were also there to take our plates & kept the area tidy. The team seemed to enjoy their tasks, and did it with smiles & professionalism.
We had a little over a dozen children & around 18 parents. It's a great place to have a party during the summer months.
Many thanks for making the girls birthday celebration a memorable event!!

I have been meaning to write a positive review of this place for a long time - and it just keeps getting better! My daughter has been at Impact for almost 2 1/2 years and we love it! This time of year always reminds me that when an Amazing coach moves on, it will be okay—because my child can keep growing and learning from new coaches, each Amazing in their own way. Coaches leave for reasons like relocating or pursuing education—not due to poor management. Management truly cares about staff, students and their families. Impact has been supportive, fun, flexible and a place we feel at home. PLUS they are exceptionally skilled at coaching gymnastics. Thank you for everything, Team Impact :)

My wife and I took our 22 month son for a "try it out class" meant for 18 month-3 year olds. We arrived 15 minutes early. The first thing that I noticed was that I did not see one adult on the gymnastics floor but I did see a dozen or more 15-17 year old instructors. Which I found to be odd. No adults to instruct kids ages 18 months and up?
We waited for our group to be called but never heard it called. I then noticed that there was a group of kids with their parents out on the floor with an instructor so I assumed that was our group. I approached another teenage girl instructor and asked her if that was the 18 month-3 year group and she said that it was. First thing that I noticed was that my son was the only one in the group that was younger than 2 years old (also the only one where it was his first class). It looked like two of the four other kids in the class were around 4 years old if not older.
The first thing the instructor asked my son was if he wanted to do "bear crawls" and proceeded to crawl on the ground only using her hands and feet. I laughed and said he can't do that, he's 22 months old. In hindsight after that happened, I should had walked out of that place.
After we did some stretching exercises (95% my son can't do). The teenage instructor said "every body to the trampoline". Where all of the kids ran right to the beginning of the long walkable trampoline (not their first class). The "instructor" told all the kids to "jump down" the 30-50 ft trampoline. Obviously my 22 month old son can't do that. Instead we walked together on the trampoline side by side and I held his hand the entire time. On our second time, the teenage girl then asked my son verbatim, "Can you put your hands on your hips and jump down tucking your knees to your chest?" If you had a mature competent instructor that watched our first rep, they would know that he can't do that. And on that final walk, my son collapsed to his knees crying in pain. I immediately picked him up, got him off the trampoline. My son is a tough little boy, he doesn't cry often at all so I knew that he was legit hurt. When I put him down on the ground he started limping and holding his right leg which he has never done before. I gave my son to my wife who was watching off to the side. I went to the teenage girl "instructor" and told her that my son injured himself and he is limping so we are going to go. She just looked at me with a blank stare and said absolutely nothing. We participated in the class for maybe 15 minutes. We ended up having to go to Urgent Care to get X rays on my 22 month old son. We are still waiting on the results and hoping that it was not a trampoline fracture injury. I encourage anyone that is reading this review to look up trampoline fracture. It is a not uncommon injury that happens to 2-5 year olds. A trampoline fracture as medical professionals call it, is when a 2-5 year old is on a trampoline with someone that is much heavier than them. 2-5 year old bones are not fully hardened, they are soft. That is why they are prone to this type of injury in this situation. Which was the case with my son and I at Impact Gymnastics yesterday.
Prior to coming to this class, I was ignorant to the dangers of trampolines for my son and now I know the possible danger. For that and only that reason is why Impact Gymnastics gets one star for this review. Their incompetence, negligence, and flawed instruction model for a child that is my son's age is the only reason why we got something out of this instruction. My lesson was learned.
The phone conversation between my wife and the director of this poorly ran place went like this: Placed blame on me and my child, as the instructor said that my son "wouldn't come out of his shell". Also said that their injury policy was to check on the child, provide care, and ice. None of the three were done.
My recommendation is to stay away from this place. I have been involved in athletics all of my life. Played collegiately and I have been a professional coach at the college level for 19 years.

Sam, Gabby, Shereen and the rest of the staff run an amazing gymnastics gym! They are so nice and professional and always smiling when we walk in. If you want a fun, inviting atmosphere for your children and a place that knows their stuff, come to Impact Gymnastics. Their well-trained staff will have your child doing gymnastic moves you never thought you’d see!

They are very flexible with ESA parents because they understand that the government moves on its own time. And they have a military and law enforcement discount. They will happily and easily set you up with a trial class to see if you and your child enjoy learning from them.

This gymnastics facility in my neighborhood offers open gym hours four times a week for an hour, specifically for children aged babies to 5 years old. While I haven’t enrolled my toddler in any classes yet, the open gym time provides a great way to experience the gymnasium.

To participate in open gym, you need to create a profile and complete the waiver online for the first time. Each open gym class is $5 using cash or $8 using a credit card without any additional membership fees, offering the flexibility to attend during any open gym session without a commitment. There’s also a punch card option where you purchase several classes and receive one class free. Additionally, the gym time is only for that specific age group, ensuring your child can run around without being overwhelmed by older children.

I wish they had more open gym times because I love that the children get to burn off their energy in an inexpensive, indoor environment (especially great for summer). Children have access to the entire gym with all its amenities, including the trampoline, rock wall, open floor, monkey bars, mats, vaults, and a couple of swings. We love coming here and look forward to joining the classes in the future.

*Warning Lengthy Post*
I didn’t know what to expect when I first stumbled upon Impact. I’m happy I trusted my instinct and my friends who recommended the gym to us.

I came with multiple questions and was greeted not only by the kindest front desk staff member Shereen, who took the time to answer every question I wrote out the night before but also the manager Gabby when I expressed my concerns about my daughter stepping into things kind of late. Each of them reassuring me that my daughter would be nurtured, guided and assisted with her journey and goals.

I can’t stress enough how much I love this gym, not only is there a class for everyone but the Open Gym sessions provide my daughter the opportunity to go and decompress and me get a break when needed. The coaches are always attentive, answer all of my questions and practice so much patience and care regardless of level.

Its a pretty large facility and has areas based on age. The furthest side from the entrance is for the toddlers. It appears clean but the toddler side does smell a bit like a daycare 🤨. Not much room for parents and guests. Visitors watch in the walkway so it can be hard to get from one side to the other. And this was a Wednesday. My understanding is Saturdays are far more crowded 😳. Wall to wall standing room only. No thanks 😂

Would never bring my daughter back here. Tried their 3 year old class today. My daughter was so excited to be there. The teachers didn’t communicate with her at all. They were cold and not friendly from the beginning. She just wanted to play on all the exciting fun equipment and after 20 minutes instead of helping her participate in class or actually teaching her they told us she couldn’t be part of the class. You would think when you have a kid who is ecstatic to be there and super excited to do things you would have staff that would be eager to help them learn and have them there.
Her teacher also was in a knee brace and could barely walk so she couldn’t actually teach or show her how to do anything.

Impact Gymnastics Academy has been our gymnastics home since it's opening. The IGA positive philosophy of developing more than the gymnast is one of many reasons for our decision to follow the owners, Maria and Samantha when they opened IGA. The owners, directors, coaches and staff care about the gymnasts success. My daughter remains in the sport thanks to IGA!

We love Impact! The owners, Maria & Sam, have created an amazingly unique gymnastics environment where kids truly thrive. The coaches' extensive knowledge and experience paired with Impact's positive coaching philosophy are the perfect combination for young athletes. The coaches genuinely care about each athlete, not only as a gymnast, but as a person. Since starting here over a year and a half ago, my daughter's gymnastics skills, and more importantly, her confidence have soared. My daughter thinks of this place as her second home and thinks of the coaches as family. We're so glad we found Impact!

I've been taking my now 4 year old here for over a year. I love the gym, the instructors are all amazing and so patient with the young kids. The owners are so hands on and are overall great people running a family business. Highly recommend to all levels and ages!

My girls and family LOVE this gym. I have a 9, almost 8 and almost 7 year old who attend here. We have been part of this gym for over a year now. Whenever we walk in we are treated like family by all the coaches and staff. Everyone always has a smile on their face!
The coaches focus on our girls strengths and weaknesses to help them get better which has paid off!
They are expanding the gym to the suite next door to make it bigger and we are so excited to see in the next few weeks how it turns out.
We have a little boy on the way and they are opening a Ninja Zone up which is more open for boys! We are excited to get him in that when he gets to that age.
No commitment contract, free trial class and amazing people to work with your kids. Doesn't get better than that! I 100% recommend this gym for girls AND boys!

My two girls were interested in getting into gymnastics and I was given this gum name by a mom at my girls school.
This gym just feels comfortable. When we signed up, no commitment, month to month and I don't feel suffocated by commitment. They are very attentive, kind, want to make you feel noticed.
I am able to schedule there time during the week with no weekend commitment. Yah!
This place is a must check out if your daughters or sons want to try it.
