This gym is ok. Some of their equipment is run down. For example, when you put the leg press machine at the closest setting, the cable sticks at the bottom. And the leg extensions machine doesn’t even have a full back rest, and it is too far back. They also keep the AC set in the high 70s in the middle of summer even when their AC unit on the East side of the building isn’t working. I’m always dripping in sweat, even when I have barely started my workout. I understand that sometimes the AC goes out, but with the lack of fans, it makes that situation even worse. Owner will not lower AC temperature.

If you’re looking for an “old school” “garage gym” atmosphere then jd3 is it. The owners are fantastic. There is more than enough equipment and free weights to accomplish your goals. They have a thermal sauna which works great. There’s a small area for your littles to watch tv and play while you workout. Clean restrooms and lockers to store your personal belongings.

Been a member since doors first opened! Open 24 hours and welcoming for a new/advanced gym goer. Doesn’t matter if you’re style of training is Olympic Lifting, Bodybuilding, CrossFit or Powerlifting, the equipment and rigs are there. Equipped cardio room and extra back room with a sauna, mats, punching bag and medicine balls.

A passable place, the “owner” cancels your membership just because she wanted to, she approached us to ask us how we got in when someone held the door for us and looked at us with a dog face, as if we were stealing from her gym, when she approached she didn’t even say I’m the owner, obviously I said who are you? and just because of that she canceled the membership, how UNPROFESSIONAL

I had a disappointing experience at this gym. The owner introduced herself only after questioning my membership status, looking me up and down, and asking why I was in her gym. This felt very rude and unwelcoming. I prefer to take my business elsewhere where customers are treated with respect from the start.

To make matters worse, the owner immediately canceled my membership before the end of the agreement in what felt like retaliation

I don’t live in Safford/Thatcher but this place was my go to when visiting for work. Now it seems I am unable to use the gym unless I get a guess pass between 8-5 (can I only workout during those times if there’s no one at the front?) kind of a let down honestly. Giving 3 stars just cause I enjoyed the vibes from my previous visits.

EPIC GYM! Grabbed a day pass and was blown away by the hospitality of the owner. Being in a small town, this place was better than the gyms in PHOENIX! Yep I said it. The regular people were friendly and people rerack their weights and wipe down after they are done. Can't wait to do leg day tomorrow.

Telling people this is an awesome gym does not do it justice. The owners are fantastic down to earth people that are very supportive of people from all walks of life. More than enough equipment and free weights to accomplish your goals. They recently setup a thermal sauna which works great. A very supportive staff and I highly recommend this gym if you're in the area.

Love this gym. Its owned and ran by kind and thoughtful people. It has everything you need and is still slowly expanding. I've been working out at JD3 for over 2 years now and would reccomend this gym over others in this area.

The equipment is ok. They have a lot if free weight options. Bathrooms are just that bathrooms. No showers. Doesn't feel clean. Kids room is nothing special.
