One of those places that could potentially close down due to health code violations, there are 2 other locations in the valley that have closed down due to health code violations, actually 3 locations, and these 3 locations were way better than this location, it wouldn't surprise me if they shut this one down too.

Came here due to crunch avondale closing. Em was helpful, friendly and professional. Sadly that's the last good thing I can say about here. No free TRX straps to use. Turf is loose and not tapered down to the floor. Free weights are scattered and not where they should be. Couple of machines smelled like piss. Weights were very rusted throughout the gym. A few machines are set up in a way that doesn't allow full range of motion. Lacking critical machines such as a weighted row machine. Bathrooms are disgusting. Won't be back

I signed up at this location 3 years ago and paid for a membership in full. The membership didn't say it included guest privileges, but the manager at the time assured me it did and made a note on my account that I was allowed guests. I was even told at a later date that all memberships included guest privileges.

Well today I brought a guest with me and was given a hard time because they said my membership didn't include guest privileges, even though they literally saw it IN WRITING on my account. Here's the kicker, I have 1 month left on my membership and they didn't even want to honor it for the remaining 1 month period (oh but they said they would make a special exception just for today.)

Excellent customer service could have prevailed today, but the staff decided to be petty. Look at the big picture and realize that honoring my original agreement for just 1 month could have gained Esporta a renewed membership. What's the harm in honoring my agreement for 1 month? What exactly will that do to Esportas bottom line?

Really all they've done is hurt their bottom line with a bad review and one less renewed membership; all for what? I know me not renewing won't hurt them and this will fall on deaf ears, but maybe it'll help others be more aware of the shenanigans these current employees like to pull.

Bring the old staff back, they knew how to treat customers.

I’m here in Pheonix on a trip with my family. After days of eating and celebrating Easter with them. I felt like I needed to get a couple of work out in. I Googled the nearest gym and Esporta Fitness in Avondale popped up. My sister and I came in, and Miguel the GM hooked my sister and I up. The Gym is super clean and friendly, managed to get my full work out in with out waiting around.
Finished it off at the Muscle Club Cafe inside the gym. The protein shake that Hyon costumed for me with all my crazy restrictions. Over all I had to come on here to leave a review because it really exceeded my expectations. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We dropped into Esporta for one day while visiting from Oklahoma. We had a great experience! Miguel was wonderful and showed us around the whole facility. The gym was nice and well kept. The people were kind and welcoming! We had an amazing time!

I just purchased a membership and oh my God. Bad gym. Tried 3 different locations. Can NEVER use the sauna after working out cause its always packed. So damn small i never get to use it unless I want to be touching others. Their classes get cancelled so much. I paid for group training and theres 8 sessions early in the morning and 2 after 10am. So even though I pay the exact same as someone who works after 10am I get 20% of the class options. I cant cancell for a year apparently. So im stuck for 5k. Im about to just change debit card and stop paying. This is insane.

The fitness manager said that if I signed up for a particular membership, it would cover any visits to LA Fitness as well. However, that was not true - I found out that I still have to pay an expensive premium, much more expensive than a monthly membership, in order to go to LA Fitness. I submitted a complaint, but customer service simply claimed that none of their people would ever say anything like that (which LA Fitness says they do often), and simply tried to sell me a more expensive membership. This is one of the few times I've been directly lied to by a sales guy.

Spoke with Faith the “Operations Manager” located at the Avondale location approximately 22 days after the last incident took place concerning my 2 year old daughter.

10/13/22: A child care representative approached my fiancé in the gym to notify us of a accident occurring in the kids room involving my 2 year old. Upon entry of the room my child socks were removed and her diaper was coming off and she was covered in urine from her waist down to her toe.

I connected with the staff to notify them of this incident all I received was an email, I received no call confirming what actions were taken to make this a better experience so I connected directly with that representative; 10/15/22 I provided feedback to the same child care representative outlining my concerns and my preferred method of contact especially for emergency situations like this. After speaking with your child care representative on 10/15/22, I think we are on the same page.

On 10/23 and 10/24/22, a incident took place concerning my toddler being left in the bathroom.

10/23; she was standing in the toilet

10/24 she was playing in the water without a diaper.

Did I hear from any manager no, so I proceeded with cancelation and informing them of the incident. As of 11/15/22, I actually got a hold of the operations manager and I INITIATED THE CALL; I outlined all of my concerns and the manager confirmed the incident was discussed but she never contacted me to touch base, so we all know these incidents were swept under the rug and Ms. Faith showed no empathy or compassion, and lack LEADERSHIP SKILLS.

I’m not saying all ESPORTA FITNESS GYMS ARE BAD BUT I DONT RECOMMEND THE ONE LOCATED AT 13035 W Rancho Santa Fe Blvd, Avondale, AZ 85392.

Beware! My friends vehicle was broken into and even told by police the security camera they have was pretty much nonexistent. Staff told my friend there was another truck broken into 2 weeks prior. When questioned, Esporta said “our cameras are functional and clear” - NOT TRUE! …and still tried to charge her the $25 cancellation fee for canceling her membership due to feeling unsafe. Great gym, yes, but UNSAFE, UNACCOUNTABLE, and “oh and you need to pay the $25 cancellation fee” . Nope!

I went as a visitor and the person I was meeting was running late and I asked if I could stretch inside while I waited and they said no, so I went outside to stretch and got bit up by ants. When I did go inside to workout the dumbells were all over and no one bothered to wipe down the equipment afterwards.

The gym isn't bad and the staff is decent. If you like a gym where the equipment is put away and where it's supposed to be, then don't go here! I don't know if it's just the people that come here or there's not enough staff to clean up but weights are hardly ever put away. Worst I've ever seen, again it could be the gym-goers but it's bad. Otherwise it's pretty good equipment and it's not too busy early in the morning.

Since the management change this location has done a full turnaround. Staff is attentive, helpful and responsive. Facilities are clean functioning including a very nice pool area and jacuzzi. Manager Faith has put her stamp on this place. Highly recommended!!

I had to cancel my debit card due to an unauthorized charge and was called by Esporta (on DYSART and McDOWELL Rd.) that I would be charged a late fee for canceling my card and them not getting their payment. I told them that if I didn't cancel my card, that they could have continued with the unauthorized charges. They told me to go to my Esporta and talk to a Manager to resolve the issue. I did and was not impressed on how the issue was handled. They really need to make sure that they hire people with respect and ethics. I hate to say this about Esporta, as they seem to be one of the better quality gyms. But I gotta say, they get one star for how they resolve issues like this, in my eyes.

I have a month pass and my experience has been mixed. I’m a power lifter and there aren’t enough equipment to be shared. There’s only two squat racks for example. It’s cold as well and seems to not rever to 24hrs again.. the people are not the friendliest and the little basketball players think they’re hard and will dog you in the parking lot.. this is AZ and I do t think they realize how much of a western state this place is lol! It’s also pretty dirty. It’s ok if you’re doing bodybuilding. They have a lot of stationary machines. A lot of stuff looks outdated and for the price they want you to put down.. I’m walking.

Update: We joined THIS gym so that my husband could work out at 4am. It's no longer 24 hours and you no longer get unlimited guest passes. It seems like there is nothing anyone can do when I complain about it to management.
It's also really understaffed and dirty. I'm pretty sure the women's locker room only gets cleaned like twice a week. I'm now just in the habit of checking the stall to make sure it has TP before I go. I don't think I've seen a janitor going around wiping off equipment in over a year.
They don't always have a receptionist too especially on the weekends, so my kids get neglected in "Kids Klub" if someone at the front desk needs something... That's not safe and probably isn't even legal.. 😬
