This gym location became "my gym" when I started my fitness journey in August 2024. Unfortunately, not so long ago we were informed they would be closing. It makes no sense? It's a great gym and all the evening staff are great! Hopefully the directors and or the operation management will realize it's a bad decision. The closest is the gym on 91st and Northern. That gym gym is good but not as great! The staff does not greet you! And it's so full, no even more so that the gym on 59th ave is closing. 🤦‍♀️

I know why this gym has been given a low rating because of one particular gym that I have been to and it's filthy, weights scattered all around, the other ones, at least one in particular is real clean, and I like it! Too bad it's closing permanently on December 2nd at 2pm.

This is the worst gym in the area. The people in there are super rude with customers. The front register and mangers are the worst people I have seen. The don’t respect you at all. Extremely disappointed, I went in as a guest (my son has a membership) on Sunday, September 4, 2022, and decided I wanted to take advantage of the deal they had going. My father and I wanted to start a membership but when asked at the front counter the salesperson was not in, this was at about 2:30 p.m. I left and called back at 3 p.m. and the salesperson was still not in and again at 5:10 p.m. My father and I missed out on the .93 initiation fee which was only good on this day! I had a membership a couple of years ago but got ill and had to cancel it. When I called Monday they said they were no longer offering this deal and when I explained the salesperson was not in each time I called they said they couldn't help me. I get that they are a business trying to make their money but don't offer a deal if there is not going to be a salesperson to sign people up. Other than that the gym is clean, and quiet in the early mornings, and even when it's busy there is always equipment to use.

Fist let me start by saying worse experience ever they had this very very big 6ft buff guy pretty much intimidate me into a contract i explained to him that I didn't want to be in a contract he kept pushing he even brought up our race ( African American) and how we need to take care of our self again i decline but this guy was so pushy so I told him I'll just paid the whole amount at 1time he said okay so he ran my card then told me that i was paid in full however I'm stuck in a contract paying $59 a month i tried to get corporate to help me but they said I'll have to pay half of the contract amount just to get out of the contract SMH don't waste your money

So happy I found this Esporta! From walking through the front door the staff were friendly and welcoming. Anthony the GM was beyond helpful getting my son comfortable and signed up for Kids Klub. He walked us down and made sure we knew where to go, since this gym is new to me. All the staff takes pride in their gym and it shows!!! The entire gym was clean.

Absolutely worst customer service, do not sign up with them. Signed up yesterday and was really excited to go today, walked in to barely a greeting. Thought the higher amount incorporated more than the lesser a month (it doesn't apparently). The front guy brushed me off to someone in the back who was worse when asking what additional prices they are speaking about. Finally I asked to just cancel my under 24 hr sign up and he smugged and said operation manager would have to do it and conveniently he wasn't there. THEN several hours after I have left I received a call from the trainer director (for some reason because my issue wasn't related to training) advising me that he was calling because I was in and had an issue. Was pleasantly surprise but that shortly change after telling him my issue and him thinking I've never been in a gym before. Kept telling me to come in and do a tour.. .I was confused, why would I come in to do a tour after I signed up, had a miserable time, and am trying to cancel haha. Asking if that would make any difference in what my plan includes and he said no 🤷‍♀️. Will talk to the operational manager first thing on Monday because this is ridiculous.

This is the 3rd time I've been approached by trainers. The 2nd time, I requested to be left alone entirely. Apparently, they disregarded my request and here we are today. I was again approached by a trainer while in the middle of my workout. He even brought up my request to be left alone and proceeded to follow me. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL in my opinion. At this point, I'm contemplating finding another gym.

Even bigger and nicer than it looks from the outside. Has a lap pool, free weights, cardio, machines, cross fit, spin, aerobics, and a basketball court. Staff is friendly and helpful and all about taking care of clients not trying to sell them extras like some other gyms. For $25 bucks a month and you can bring multiple guests, you cannot go wrong. Cut out a fancy coffee a week to cover the cost and get your butt back in the gym.

Staff is lazy! I've reported spilt water on the floors several times and all those times they say I'll get someone to clean that up. I waited 10 mins just to see if it would get wiped up and I never saw anyone tend to the spill. Guess they don't mind a lawsuit on their hands if someone slips. 🤷‍♀️

So glad they are open again. Precautions for the pandemic seem like just good common sense. Nothing over the top. Spacing between the machines is adequate. They did perform a temp check...however, if they slip on that I can understand. Those machines die off quick and are sometimes faulty.....Everyone seems compliant with the new normal. The indoor Basketball court is closed but that is to be expected. They just got creative and turned it into another type of fitness room. Classes are not as numerous as when I originally joined but it's a start. I attended.one and everyone adhered to the distancing rules which are easy - stay in your circle, bring a mat, and keep you mask on. So far I feel confident that as long as I follow the rules my chances of contracting COVID are not as high as say.....my job
