Nice variety of equipment, in decent condition, but the men's suana is really dirty, and floors by dumbells. Please clean the sauna and floors, and I will give 5 Stars. No seriously clean the sauna, it's horrible.

One of the BEST LA Fitness locations I’ve been to — clean, well-equipped, friendly staff, and amazing energy all around.

I’ve been an LA Fitness member for almost 8 years, and I can confidently say that the Goodyear LA Fitness is one of the BEST facilities I’ve ever been to. I recently started coming to this location, and I am genuinely impressed with how well-maintained, organized, and fully equipped this gym is.

Cleanliness:
This gym is always spotless. The floors, equipment, cardio machines, locker rooms, sauna, and pool area are extremely well-maintained. The staff does an amazing job keeping everything clean and comfortable for the members.

Equipment & Training Areas:
This facility has EVERYTHING you need — whether you’re into weight training, strength training, bodybuilding, cross-training, or HIIT. It is incredibly well-stocked and diverse in its layout.

A special shout-out to Mr. Angel — truly one of the people who keeps this place running so well. He is humble, professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I had a great conversation with him as he walked me through how everything works, pricing details, membership options, and general guidance about the facility. He is disciplined, respectful, and creates such a positive environment. I always enjoy seeing him and the rest of the staff when I come in.

I've held my tongue for the longest. People claiming it's "clean" make me question their personal hygiene.

The showers have no showerheads and horrible water pressure. The water heater must be kept outside, for the water is always boiling, even on "cold". Virtually no one is wiping down their equipment after using it, but I almost can't blame them because they run out of sanitization wipes frequently. There's gum in some of the cup holders on the machines. Most of the treadmills are under repair or shut off at random. They're doing maintenance on the pipes today and didn't issue out an automated call, text, or email about there not being functional showers or toilets. There's pubes in the women's lockers, so that tells me they are never wiped down. I once saw someone's old lashes stuck to the counter by the community hair dryer for DAYS. The hot tub always has sediment on the bottom. Cleanliness is not their top priority, nor do they encourage members to do their part in wiping down after they're done.

Staff is otherwise friendly, apart from the lady with the bob haircut. She needs an attitude adjustment fr.

We have access to various gyms in town, thanks to my husband’s health insurance.
Out of all of the big name gyms we’ve checked out in the valley (we’ve tried some others in Goodyear, also on the north side and south side because of our son’s school) out of all of them this one just feels like home! Just an old school, no one is better than anyone kinda vibe. Staff is friendly and approachable the ladies in daycare are super sweet and kind! We’re super grateful to be part of such an awesome gym community! If I can explain the feeling it’s like the comfort of going to grandmas house it’s just warm and inviting and you just feel better while your there and when you leave❤️ of course it can get busy at peak hours like any gym! Other than hoping one day they expand and made this location bigger I’m happy to have what we have!

I only gave four stars because I think that you guys are lacking on the cleanliness of the gym. I was in the basketball court yesterday and if you look at the corners of the walls, it is like so much dust you can make a village of sweaters with it also the turf does not get cleaned. It should be washed and vacuum daily or something like that but it’s disgusting. I’m tired of getting cat and dog hairs on my clothes. Overall, I like the gym and equipment. I’m just big on being in a clean environment so hopefully you guys read this and take it into consideration thanks.

This gym is impressively clean compared to other locations. The dumbbells are neatly organized, not scattered on the floor as I've seen elsewhere. The gym is spacious, with plenty of machines for both strength training and cardio. Additionally, the bathrooms are exceptionally clean. Highly recommend this location for a great workout experience! It has what I need. Gym is typically kept in pretty good shape. I hate how crowded it is, when I go around 9, but I can't blame them, it's a public gym. They definitely need more dumbbells and ez/straight bars. They've grown so much recently that there's not enough free weight stuff most times.

Completely unusable during peak hours without a team of people to reserve machines. When requesting to cancel my membership due to amount of people present during my unfortunate available hours, employee was "unable to help" management would need to be present, i am not available to cancel during managers hours. Any place that doesn't allow you to revoke your membership at any time for any reason is essentially stealing. This, coupled with the nasty state of the bathrooms and sauna, the move from 24/7 to closing at 8pm on weekends and complete unusability of any space due to overcrowding I would not recommend. I give 2 stars due to the collection of machines, basketball court, and pool are good if you can make it on off hours. I cannot. I'd give 3 stars if they had let me cancel my membership when I asked. That to me is unacceptable and I'll be making sure they won't get another red cent from me.

I absolutely love this gym. It's so big, machines are far apart, lots of space, and always clean. They have a multitude of machines to use. I've never had to wait to use anything. Any piece of equipment that has needed fixing is fixed within days. My old LA Fitness would take weeks to months. My only 2 gripes are 1) It's SO cold all the time. Nearly everyone is always wearing sweatshirts to work out. Some people wear beanies. 2) no water bottle refill station.

I like the surprise location better. I'm editing my review because I have looked around the gym as I have gotten to know it a bit more, and the parking lot has been super dirty the last week. The sauna is broken, the soap dispenser are going down one by one in the women's bathroom. The front desk worker in morning on weekends never greets anyone. And the floor is very dirty.

I saw screws and dirt all over the floor near the entrance. My husband said the men's bathroom sink was full of wet paper towels today. I have noticed items in open lockers. Disposable water bottles in machines day after day... It doesn't seem like it's getting the care and upkeep or should be.
