I been coming to this gym since the 24th st location closed. Never has anyone came up to me from the staff to ask me anything. This guy Brian seemed chill UNTIL I rejected his session thing. I alternate between this location and Tempe. I am working on legs and he asked the machines I had used I advised the liner leg press/ diverted leg press because it’s not the same all locations. He asked why I declined his session if I didn’t even know the name of the machines like REALLY?!! I keep track of them on my fitness pal. I guess they just wanna make you feel some type of way when you reject them. I was happy with this location until today.

Basketball gym is chained up and locked at 6pm but the gym doesn't close until midnight, LA fitness is a joke. Called Laveen location and they said they close their basketball gym at 9pm even though their gym is open until 11pm, I guess each gym gets to make up their own rules as to what equipment gets shutdown early. What's next? The showers and bathrooms close at 3pm lol? Bench press and treadmill is closed at 5pm? What a joke. Don't sign up at la fitness go anywhere else

TREADMILLS ARE OLD! Really frustrating that we pay a lot of money for old equipment, treadmills are half busted at this LA fitness and very old technology, squeaky and they turn on and off in the middle of your workout. Invest in your equipment and members, you're more expensive than EOS yet EOS has modern treadmills, no cardio cinema either. It sucks that you come motivated and the machine keeps ending your workout because it doesnt detect a person on it. Update treadmills for your members please.

CLEANING SUCKS!!!!!!!
Ive been going to many gyms throughout the valley and this location is always so dirty , mirrors are ALWAYS dirty , mens restrooms always has a bad smell, the soap containers were empty once for over a week ! Its just sucks because this location is convenient for me since its so close to my house. I hope they do something about it

My daughter absolutely loves this gym and daycare. Melissa the manager is so interactive with her and she's so sweet, she's the first manager I've seen so hands on, she's doing an amazing job. Veronica and the other girls from daycare are very sweet and attentive they make my daughter feel so comfortable. My only complaint would be newer equipment but I know that doesn't fall on the staff.

I've been coming here for a couple weeks, generally at non peak hours. The place is kept fairly clean, and there's rarely a backup at the machines. They've got everything you need, and then some. The pool is a nice bonus, too.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Shout out to Giselle for helping me put a workout plan together and coaching me through some initial routines. I'm fairly experienced already, and appreciated her suggestions on my routines and coaching my form.

Overall, this is a great gym in a nice area with superb staff.

It’s safe to say I’ll be calling LA Fitness my new home. What shines brighter than the equipment, basketball court, and workouts are the trainers and staff. Giselle has shown me in the little time we have had that my goals are her goals. Not only are her advice expert level, but her care to see me thru and feel like a champion are top notch! I love this gym because of its location very close to where I live. It’s never overly crowded so I get to use machines & equipment that I need. Today the very nice lady at the front gave me an LA Fitness towel that just made my day coz the one I have been using since I joined over 15 years ago!

I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS. So, I wanted to try out a different gym, I'm currently a member at EOS, anyways I thought I'd stop by and try their 3-day pass. Upon arrival the front desk young girl was super nice but as soon as I turned over to an old lady (maybe the manager) to take my ID to proceed and workout, she's questioning me why I'm here and I simply answer "I wanted to try a different gym" which is just a question no big deal but then she's asking if I've ever been a member and I answer yes about 3 years ago and she says okay, cause this pass is usually for people that are gonna get a membership not use free passes to get in every now and then. Honestly I was appalled, I was like what the heck what makes her think I'm freeloading, literally what she insinuated if not that’s such a weird way to speak. I'm not gonna buy something I don't like especially if this location isn’t what I want, that’s the reason why I’m getting a free pass? That’s what they’re there for? To try it out before you buy. I would’ve probably got a membership but this interaction threw me off. She could've gone totally a different way about it but instead she came off was so rude and I did tell her I've been a member in the past, but after that I will not be returning ever, what a way welcoming way to greet a past member who wanted to return.

Oh where to start?! Well, let me start by saying Alex the manager is the absolute man and helps to inspire people to want to come in every day and actually workout. He did with me. Then you have the amazing Giselle who might I add, is such an awesome and amazing trainer. Although, I have not had the privilege to be under her study, I do see the work she does with my fellow members as I'm working out. Last, but definitely not least you have the super vibrant and kind Melissa who makes it a joy to step foot in this gym right from the jump. Now, not to diminish the other staffs presence, but this gym is truly the best of the best and I would absolutely drive 50 miles out of my way to come to this gym with all who were mentioned. Would I recommend this place to family or friends?....I'd be a fool not too. #GREATESTSTAFFINAZ

We have Jose as personal trainer once a week. He has been very helpful with his teaching. He works very hard well with people. He is passionate about my safety and promoting proper use of equipment in the facility The facility is well equipped for beginners and people that have been working out. I strongly recommend Jose as a trainer, no matter what level of training you decide to take.

This LA Fitness is a joke. They used to have a basketball court that was open till they close, but now they limit the hours so much that it’s barely usable. Closes at 7:30 PM on weekdays and only 6 PM on weekends what kind of gym does that? Most people work or have school during the day, so by the time you’re free, the court is already shutting down. If you’re hoping to hoop after work, don’t even bother signing up here. Total waste of money if you are looking to use the basketball courts. Don’t recommend
