I don’t usually leave reviews for gyms, but Roman at the LA Fitness on Indian School deserves the recognition. From day one he has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. He knows his stuff, he listens, and he makes the whole experience feel easy instead of stressful. You can tell he takes pride in what he does.

The gym itself is clean, well-equipped, and easy to navigate, but having someone like Roman as the first point of contact made me glad I chose this location. If you’re on the fence about joining, go see him. You’ll be in good hands.

Best gym in Phoenix. Always updated and their staff, especially Emily, is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I had my wallet stolen recently and have run into roadblocks around every corner. Emily and the crew let me use my credentials and was able to get my frustrations out in the gym. Great place and great staff. 🙏🏼

LA tines allowed myself and another PF gym goer to work out when the electricity first went out. They won me with that, though I still preferred PF hours, gym set up, and less crowded atmosphere. The lady here at LA fitness beyond sweet at 5 AM!!! Just absolutely sweet as pie!!!!

I'm switching over because it doesn't look like PF will be reopened as much as I truly loved it there. But the main reason is because of how we were treated by this sweet lady at LA fitness.

Been training at LA fitness for a few months and have really enjoyed it but today I came across the most arrogant employee I believe his name is Augustine after not letting my guest train because he didn’t have a state ID which neither do I but have been a member with LA fitness for about 6 months now because we are here on work VISAs. He then still told my guest once his had a walk around the gym with him he could train. After wasting 20 minutes of our time he then told us my guest would not be allowed to train. After all of this he then approached me while warming up and said if he can bench press what was on the bar my guest had to take out a contract. Probably one of the most arrogant people I’ve come across.

I don’t understand why this location they made pool water so cold? It’s summer season now, the pool water shouldn’t more cold than room temperature right? Maybe something wrong, the water came from cooling pipes? But if you told front desk , they’ll not fix it. The new manager is always on his phone. Every time I come in he is scrolling away. I also have overheard him being rude to his own staff. Also why is the manager of a LA Fitness super unfit?! Do not get me started on Beverly she is the older women she is super rude to the staff as well she was yelling at the front desk and causing a scene on morning and I felt uncomfortable walking into that early in the morning. That same lady is always giving nasty looks and super unfriendly. I don’t know why she is working at the gym. The janitors of the morning are my favorite staff they are constantly doing their job super welcoming people. The front desk Edward is super kind and always a sweetheart to everyone. He is also nice to his coworkers and I appreciate his positivity in the mornings. This gym needs a new manager. Sales people just sit on their phone all day don’t even look up at you when you walk in. The restrooms in the late afternoon are always dirty.

I have OnePass - so I can use other gyms but this one is close to my house and they gave me one free personal trainer visit on them ! So cool nice … well the trainer I was with was Tommy he was really good at what he did and very knowledgeable however when it comes to the money grabber time when they try to get you sign in for on for a personal trainer every month ($71 for one session or $ 62.50 a session for x 3 sessions a week).. I can’t afford it and am a not looking to be tired down to a schedule when it comes to working out with my job. He did his job and his sales speech but told him unfortunately no it’s not something I’m wanting, he threw a fit and acted so rude when I left and upset I even told him I would reconsidering once my finances were better but with his attitude I don’t think I’d ever consider it. I was expecting a “no worries take your time hope to see you again when things are in order” . If a company is adamant about giving you a free personal trainer session with a new membership you should be use to hearing the world “no”… he was not

“My” LA Fitness on 7th ave and camelback is the best!! I am a ‘lady of a certain age’ living in a bigger body, some would say short and squatty.
I was very intimidated about stepping foot in a gym. However with courage I signed up with La Fitness. The closest gym to me is the 20th street facility. Due to the environment, staff and fellow gym members I make my way to 7th ave 4-5 days a week.
Edward at the front desk is encouraging, kind and motivating. He greets me every morning and I feel welcomed. He starts my visit off right.
I have a personal trainer, Dominic. I cannot express the professionalism and encouragement he has every visit. His knowledge for training surpasses every expectation I had about the gym experience. He works with me and my body type and he always keeps it exciting.
I highly recommend Dominic at LA Fitness. You won’t be disappointed!! And Edward will be there to greet you with a smile!!

I’ve been going to LA Fitness for a while now, and it’s consistently been a great experience. The staff at the front desk are always welcoming and friendly, which makes a big difference when you’re walking in for a workout. Even the cleaning crew is super courteous and does a great job keeping the place clean and tidy.

The equipment selection is excellent—whether I’m lifting weights, doing cardio, or using machines, I can always find what I need without having to wait. It never feels overcrowded like it did at EOS, where I constantly had to adjust my workout based on what was available.

The group fitness classes are a great bonus too, with a good variety to choose from and motivating instructors. Overall, it’s a clean, well-run gym with a positive atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I’ve been a member of LA fitness for years. My preferred location is 7th ave and Camelback. The moment you walk in you are greeted by Edward who has consistently been professional and welcoming. He greets you as soon as you walk in the door. I love this! You can always count on cleanliness from the cleaning crew who clean this location with so much pride. This also is another wow factor. After your workout you can always count on having an amazing shake or meal by the amazing staff at B.Bar. From fresh juices, an assortment of shakes (can also be customized), hot meals and healthier baked goods it’s no wonder I’ve made this my home gym. So far I enjoy the gym- most of the staff has been great, with the exception of Chris (I believe that was his name), who called me for "onboarding" and he was incredibly rude. I explained I was driving for two hours and would like to connect with him either later that day or the following day and he refused to listen to a word I was saying, and kept pressing me to agree to a meeting day and time. I explain numerous times I was driving on the highway and couldn't look at my calender and eventually he goes "have a good day" and hung up. Would definitely never agree to take his call or meet with him after that experience.

Mi experiencia y la de mi sobrino, con el entrenamiento de LA Fitness fue extremadamente decepcionante.

Las sesiones de entrenamiento fueron inadecuadas, el equipo estaba mal mantenido y las instalaciones del vestuario eran insalubres y carecían de suministros básicos. A pesar del servicio deficiente, me cobraron las sesiones, incluso después de cancelar debido a mi insatisfacción. Recomiendo que no utilizen los servicios de entrenamiento personal de LA Fitness.

So where do I begin.

The story is long but I'll sum it up.

The training sessions were severely sub-par. The equipment is not in the best kept up shape.

Locker room restrooms are not very well attended in the aspect of refilling any consumables, nor general cleanliness etc.

The worst of it is was canceling the training after my unsatisfactory service.

They made me pay eventhough their quality of service was terrible.

Unacceptable.

Stay away from LA Fitness....especially their training.

I’m a morning member at this location. My experience here (for a number of years) has always been pleasant. The staff is friendly. The entire facility is CLEAN! Members and staff are friendly. I’ve noticed that many on the crew have been here consistently-which tells me it’s a good place to work.

I particularly want to mention the cleaning and maintenance people. They are always on the move and the place is clean and well functioning. Whenever there is an issue of repair or maintenance there is clear notification posted.

This location has been my home since 2018. I love the staff and appreciate their high energy and enthusiasm. The team here is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They also do an excellent job of keeping the facilities clean.

The staff is extremely friendly, constantly asking how mine and my spouses experience at the gym is going, are we satisfied with the equipment, etc. I also like how when a machine breaks it’s fixed ASAP, which makes the gym experience more enjoyable. Thank you for what yall do! (Especially as I spend every day here!). Ps the cost also make us happy to be LA Fitness members!

My experience at LA fitness has been incredible. Every time I have an issue with my Gym account or there’s an issue in the gym. I go ahead and bring it up to Miss bravo, and she always has a solution for every problem. She’s always very attentive to the gas always greeting me when I’m coming in makes me have even a better workout. She is what LA Fitness stands for.
