this was my first time at this location and the operations manager joann was very kind and helpful. this club is different from my usual club in that it has a hiit center which is dope. they also have a whirlpool, sauna and steam room. i usually don’t see all 3 in one location. definitely will be back and recommend this location to others.

Hello Management Team!
I just want to recognize a Team member of yours that I always seen him dedicated to his work wether somebody is watching or not. Last time I saw him was about 4 days ago, scrubing away in the men's bathroom with a little scrubber. His energy and attitude always seems to be positive towards what he is doing at that time or when you have a word with him. Hope you as a company have the incentives to reward and promote these type of people that lead by example. I think his name is Angel!

This L.A fitness is great. Extremely clean, the machines are well maintained and clean, the bathroom is spotless. Great management. I only wish L.A fitness on Golf Links in Tucson could learn from this manager. Our L. A fitness is disgraceful.

Been going here for more almost 5 years. They always have a friendly staff at the front desk, ready to welcome you.
Cleanliness is evident, machines are aplenty, no overcrowding ever, steam and sauna, locker room is spacious and well maintained. Just perfect for me!

The General Manager here shows no professionalism or consistency in managing the team responsible for the kids club. After I dropped off my 2-and-a-half-year-old at daycare, he called me but didn’t leave a voicemail. Later, I found a message on my personal phone from him saying there was an issue with my child and asking me to come check. When I called back the same number, he immediately told me, “You’re not allowed to leave your child in daycare and just go.” When I asked if my child was okay, he didn’t answer. This left me stressed and worried, not knowing if something had actually happened.
It’s unacceptable to cause a parent this much anxiety just because you prioritize strict policies over care and communication. There was zero customer service and no genuine concern for members. If I could give less than one star, I would — that’s how disappointing this experience was. I

Went to this LA Fitness Pilates class today (Thurs. 8.7.25) with Sally. The facility is very nice and clean which is a positive. Sally is a very pleasant & warm person, she came over prior to class and informed us "this is not a beginner class". It definitely was not a beginner class it was more like a very easy Silver Sneakers class, no energy needed to be expended in this class. She had us get a ring, we NEVER use it for muscle development but rather as a tool to hold & put over our heads and/or touch our toes with. In the beginning of class we spent 12 minutes practicing our breathing, what was the purpose for such a long breathing exercise. We did do a plank but what is the purpose of doing a plank if you are given the option of a 15 second breaks every minute?, if you are going to do a plank correctly then do it for the 3-4 minutes you are striving for. This is NOT what I would expect from LA Fitness, especially when you pay to join. Needless to say I would not recommend Sally as an instructor, there are many more instructors that will definitely give you a good Pilates workout to develop and strengthen your core.

I have been in LA fitness for a long while basically I didn't have any complaints but lately I'm really pissed off because every time I show up to the classes the instructor are not there and they don't send any substitutes to cover they're not even put it in the app that someone is not coming, I had to complain at the front desk but ,it seems to be like that they don't care at all. I was trying to find a phone number to reach someone really on the top of those guys in the website to complain officially but there is none how can I complain , I don't know. I'm talking about LA fitness located at Camelback Road in Phoenix Arizona. 85015. This gim is getting terrible with customers.

It is a shame that they have updated the gym and completely ignored the pool. The condition of this pool has been going downhill for years and I mean almost 20 years. Today not only is the plaster finish bad but it is now down to cement. Past conversations with the management have been useless. LA Fitness, please get your act together - your members deserve better than this!

Manager is rude and careless. I got a membership for a dollar and shortly after, decided I didnt want it anymore. I had never used or went in to the gym. I called as they kept trying to charge my account, and I told the manager multiple times I wanted to cancel my account. She said I had to come in, in person to do so and she'll "notate" my account. But she didnt cancel it. She claims she told me I could do it online but if it was online she couldve walked me through it and I wouldve canceled then and there. Now I call again after they charge my card upwards 120 bucks for 2 months of no use and EVEN THO I expressed I wanted to cancel. There's absolutely no reason she couldnt cancel my account and resolved this whole issue. Aside from all that, she comes off very rude, very careless. Everyone go to EOS, they are much more respectful and LISTEN to you.

I’ve been a member of LA Fitness since 2016, I think, starting at the Tatum location and have been at the Bell Rd location the last 5 years. It’s now very clean, I enjoy the music and the front desk crew. Lobby has caught my attention many times because of her hard work and friendly manner. It is so clean now and dust free. The cleaner before had back problems and not able to keep it as spotless as Libby. Keep her here and happy!!!

I visited this LA Fitness while traveling from California and was looking for a solid workout—and it absolutely delivered! The manager, Chris, went above and beyond to help me secure a guest pass and made the entire process seamless. The gym itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had a great energy. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish—I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

I went in there wanting to do a trial. I was told that they were doing a promotion. I never agreed to sign up for anything, but I did sign a bunch of paperwork so beware. I did think was a little odd considering I just wanted to try it out. They ended up charging me the annual fee, Plus the $20. There’s about 10 pages that you sign So of course, I didn’t read all of the details but that’s how they get you so be careful when you sign up for this gym. They get their commission and That’s all they care about.

I have been to many gyms and this one is by far the best! The biggest reason I enjoy coming to this exact location, is because of April in the kids club. I am very particular about who watches my 1 year old daughter Olive. I don’t even take her to daycare while I’m at work, she goes to work with me everyday. The only person I trust with olive besides my parents, is April. Every time I quickly check on her during my workouts, she is interacting/playing with her and making sure she is safe. Sometimes olive doesn’t even want to leave!!😂

I take my kids to a few locations around the valley, but this is the one by my house that I go to the most.
