my brother and I came into the gym. Was looking for a place that had everything we need. This location has a full-size basketball court. Racquetball courts heated swimming pool nice Jacuzzi, a good cardio area separated from the weights area and even a protein shop For your shakes needs. I also have to give a compliment to the manager Mindy for having an amazing customer service.

Signed up for personal training through Gabriel and just wasted over $500 because they put me with Elijah who was touching me the whole time during personal training without even asking and even played with my hair at one point, needless to say I never trained with Elijah again. Eijah is relatively new to the gym and Gabriel said "No one else is complaining so idk what to tell you" He is new and I was definitely one of the youngest people at this location. I ended up cancelling my training contract and LA fitness contract due to their staff. If you want to feel safe in the gym DO NOT COME HERE. LA Fitness needs to do better at vetting their staff as I have been to many commercial gyms and have had male personal trainers and this was the first time I was harassed, they did not even apologize for this but instead just accused me of making it up.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experiences at Esporta Fitness. As a regular basketball player on weekdays, I've encountered a group of individuals, including Thunder, Jason, and others, who consistently bully, harass, and intimidate other members. They use profanity, threaten physical altercations, and create a hostile environment. Despite reporting these incidents to management multiple times, no meaningful action has been taken.

It's unacceptable that Esporta Fitness allows this behavior to continue, putting members' well-being at risk. The lack of action from management is alarming, and I urge them to take responsibility for ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all members.

Very nice atmosphere we went on Sunday there was low traffic.Plenty of equipment , Comfortable sauna ,decent sized refreshing pool for after or before workouts,Showers, and okay sized bathrooms with many lockers.Theres a slight offensive odor in the woman's bathrooms but other n that a very wonderful facility with professional staff.

I’ve been going to this gym for years now. It used to be LA Fitness but now it’s Esporta. The vibe is laid-back and chill. There’s a good mix of young, old, & middle-age, fitness enthusiasts. I like the sauna and hot tub for what they are but they are not pristine or new… this is not a new facility so I gave it four stars. What’s nice is there is a golf course with a pedestrian walking path behind the gym, so if you want to take a walk or run outside in a pretty setting and then work out you can. The classes they have vary & are I have various skill levels. What I like about this gym is that people are friendly and it’s a non-competitive environment. I wish it had more amenities and was a bit more luxurious though but for the money you can’t beat it it’s a good value.

Dirty and unsanitary rest rooms. Some people coming at the end of day, they don't look like a members, looking more like a homeless people, taking shower making floor wet and dirty. Don't know who let them in. Lack of paper towels and kleenex tissues. I actually don't see some one who does cleening, like it used to be in Esporta on 7330 E Shea Blvd, but it's closed now. There was a guy who was working and cleaning everything all the time, constantly.

It’s okay. Small gym but a big parking lot and on a golf course. Hours can be better. Pre COVID was 24 hours but you just knew they would use that as a reason to never go back to 24/7. No walking track to escape walking in AZ heat. Biggest complaint is they sell you on being part of a nice Paradise Valley club but employees 3/4 of the time don’t even look up when you check in as they are glued to their cell phones. Can’t believe management allows. They should be greeting each and every member with a smile and eye contact but I guess that’s the way it is today. Surprisingly , no recycle bin for empty bottles of water. Manager staring at her computer all the time at the check in area.

A poor attempt from LA Fitness to rebrand themselves. Horrible hours, kid club and nutrition bar permanently closed, management doesn't respond, and the bathrooms are jacked.

The only thing this gym has going for it is the gym floors clean and the other members are friendly. This does makeup for the other issues.

I have already requested to cancel my membership but of course, they make the cancellation process beyond ridiculous just so LA Fitness can weasel another months membership out of me!

It's a nice gym but their behavior is egregious. I'm in town for a few days and called in advance to inquire about a day pass. I made it clear I'm not interested in a membership so just want a day pass. The person on the phone said it would be $20 for a day pass. I then drove 30 min to get to the gym and here they tell me they ran out of day passes so I can only get a one month membership for $50. The manager claims the person on the phone was misinformed.
I've been to many gyms while traveling and some don't do day passes but are clear about it when called. The bait-and-switch they did here is ridiculous and should be clearly publicized and called out. Needless to say, I will never come back to this gym on principle.

They could use a better maintenance staff as this place is never clean. Trash on floor, garbage cans are always full, mirrors have hand prints on them that are usually there for weeks. I don't use the bathroom there unless absolutely necessary. I continue to go to this location out of convenience (it's close to home)That being said..

I went to go play some pick up games and shoot around in the basketball court and ended up getting a gun pulled on me because I blocked a guy. This is a very big problem. It's very disappointing to see how the management and staff could care less about the health and well being it's members and fellow team members. Not one trainer wears a mask nor bothers to wipe down equipment before and after work outs.beven if the member is masked, the trainers have the arrogance not to. We use to see cleaning staff working regularly. Now you never see them. Their recording in the gym replays how their staff makes every effort to make sure our gym is clean and covid safe. Not here! This a clean and well-managed gym with every conceivable piece of equipment you could need. It is also much less crowded than most other gyms in the area, which is a real plus in this pandemic era. In addition, it is not dominated by the body-builder types from tattoo city. The only draw-back that I can think of is that they do not provide towel service. If they did, it would be my number one choice of gyms in the area.

Terrible customer service when canceling. Told them I was only in town for a few months and would be canceling, they told me I was canceled but I continued to get charges, manager (Andrew) blamed that his staff didn’t know better - that’s not an excuse he could have reversed charges and made things right. I had to have my credit card company block future charges. Left me with a very poor taste in my mouth about LA Fitness. I should have trusted other review on here that say the same. Since I've been a member they've remodeled three times, shutting down for weeks and then making the gym more and more crowded after each remodel. They offer "Guest privileges" for extra money on your account. I added these privileges in the past without issue. Now they make my guest sign a sheet disguised as a liability waiver, but it's actually an authorization to solicit memberships. When asked to be placed on a do not call list after constant calls multiple times a day (some quite close to being so late they're illegal),staff gives bad attitude. When I tried to cancel my membership, I was told by the manager that I was not allowed to cancel on the weekend. Manger didn't even care that we were trying to cancel, just gave a shoulder shrug and moved on. Staff that I've dealt with in the past year or so have not been good.

I'm a member at the LA Fitness on Sepulveda Blvd in Van Nuys CA and am in Arizona for the weekend.
I was blown away when I walked into the N. Tatum LA fitness center in AZ! Without a doubt they are the antithesis of the fitness center I belong to in Van Nuys, this facility is super clean, & organized, for example: I went to wipe my treadmill down before I used it and one of the cleaning staff informed me that she had just sanitized it-that I didn't need to sanitize it, (which stunned me) because that rarely happens @ the Van Nuys LA fitness. The layout of all the equipment stations here makes perfect sense, the men's locker room is immaculate, bathroom was clean, the Van Nuys site is always filthy, and doesn't even have a paper towel dispenser in the men's locker room area. I will be enjoying the N. Tatum location the rest of this weekend but unfortunately can't take this location back with me to the very disappointing fitness center in Van Nuys. What a difference management along with attention to detail make from one location to another.

pool is always packed and you have to wait, the showers are so nasty, When i signed up they told me the pool is always open and hardly anyone uses it.. nope its always packed with a line waiting to get in. Very snooty people at this location i cant even begin to tell you. I watched one lady tell some poor teenager off the other day and made her cry for sharing her lane in the pool. (its always 2 to a lane, but that lady wont share not the first time i seen her scream at people) oh and the weirdest thing i have seen, a man in the lady locker room taking a shower, (he saw me and other ladies and still didn't leave) When I told the front desk they ran back there, the man told them it had been an accident and he walked in to the wrong locker room (yeah after he saw and heard women in there... so yeah that is what this location it like and i am kicking myself for signing up for 2 years with this place... other locations are better, the staff here is fine though i will say that in its defense, just wish they would have told me it was constantly busy.
