Sucks. Never going there again. Walked there for the first time me and my partner to just inquire about how to join. The receptionist who was in the back, came to us and said he didn’t have time he is been there for 8 hours already and opened the door to kick us out. That was before we even opened our mouths to say hello or ask out questions. Never felt humiliated and disrespected like this. Never going there.

I got a said I did notice a change almost immediately after my last review ..and it has continued to improve and all the areaa I mentioned before ..
It's cleaner ...machines are more available .
The front desk is always super kind ..I feel a great positive energy and also a diverse group of people are present now ..whatever you did ! Keep it up!
This is now a very enjoyable gym !

It's alright, bathrooms are very disgusting sometimes ...saw some splashes or red or brown on showed curtains ...don't wanna know what it is ..would love if they had two machines minimum of each ...some people love using two machines at once , or take long turns while they do something else ..we end up waiting too long for the last machines to use ...main desk are polite and courteous ,
Some machines need upgrading ...
In general is an ok gym !

LA FITNESS- great place and it is clean and they work hard to take care of their guests. The old guy at the front - I believe his name is Eric - wonderful and so outgoing and welcoming. Enjoy meeting him when he works - has a smile on his face everytime. Kali - the early morning girls is also ever welcoming. The rock star is the operations lady - Julissa - she makes sure that place is clean and I see her walking around checking everything a few times during my workout. She really cares- even seen her in high heals take and walk and re-rack weights- another rock star. Hope you appreciate these people. Not all of them are like these ones, FYI. Hope you keep them and hope they keep caring about the place- also the guy that cleans the men’s bathroom is good too- thank you so much!! Keep up the good work- you are only as good as the people that work for you.

One day I was training in the weight area and next to me was a man who started insulting me for no reason, he told me that I stank and that I should return to my country, he harassed me for a long time, he also threatened to hit me, saying all kinds of very racist things for being Mexican, I went to complain to the manager and he did absolutely nothing, I have been training in that place for a decade, they should be more considerate with the people.

I am 13 years old, but this gym, not only having almost anything anybody could ask for, has a large grass area and is incredible, and doesn't make me feel weird for being young.
However I have one contention: You should add a couple calisthenics bars and the handstand bar for calisthenics. Otherwise awesome!

Hi, my name is London Richards, and I’m a real estate agent with eXp Realty here in Tucson, Arizona. I’ve been going to LA Fitness for a while now. Overall, it’s a solid gym with a good variety of equipment and space to get a great workout in. That said, the locker room could definitely use some updates, and the showers don’t seem to be cleaned as frequently as they should be. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and upkeep in those areas, this location could really shine. Hoping to see some improvements soon!

I signed up in April, I only use the pool while I recover from major surgery. This pool is FILTHY. I complained about the condition, nothing changed. I also complained about the tile around the pool being extremely slippery (bad type of ceramic tile ). After I found a disposable RAZOR in the pool, I complained, I got a nonchalant answer that "someone" would go get it. It was there the next day. I asked for the manager again, I got some young guy tell me ya, uh, no, *giggle*, why? Very disgusted by the don't care attitude. Then I dealt with the manager when I came back on Monday to cancel. I now understand why the employees have a don't care attitude, they're lead by example.

This gym is so nasty, I’m disgusted and disappointed with the maintenance upkeep. I’ve been to many LA fitness’s and none have been this unkept. I walked into the restroom and there was a blood-filled pad sitting uncovered on top of all the filled trash. I hardly see anyone wiping there machine before and after using and it’s oddly set up. I’m never coming back to this location

I wanted to like this gym because it is so large but i cannot get behind a gym where no one sanitizes equipment. Good luck trying to find sanitizing spray/towels. All i found was what i would assume was actually a hand sanitizer wipe station, not clearly marked/aqeduate for cleaning equipment. Gross ! I understand it may be a struggle to keep cleaning supplies stocked in a gym so large, but to not even have the option for folks who care is diabolical. Im not trying to share sweat and booty juice with the last/next guy.

I am a visitor in town and tried this for the first time ( and last time) today . This is an older LA Fitness - The good news is that there is a working sauna- unlike most locations -BUT : The pool was cloudy and dirty- visibility was about 6' . I spoke to a local who said it had been like that for a week- Gross . Reported to the front desk who were unaware there was a problem.

Do not get trapped and get a membership here. It’s very crowded in the week days and they close too early in the weekends also there’s no enough machines, the floor is dirty, old. YOU WILL WAIT APPROXIMATELY 20 minutes to use a machine because there’s only 2 of them and they’re taken.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Felipe at the front desk. I'm type one diabetic and I experienced a low today with my blood sugar. I also forgot my credit card at home so had no way to get a drink to bring my sugars back up. He really helped me out and was kind enough to buy me a Gatorade so I was able to finish my workout and more importantly stay conscious haha really great customer service that shouldn't go unnoticed thanks again!

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Mando! Today I had an uncomfortable experience where I moved to another side of town and the closest LA Fitness wouldn't let me change from my old gym to this new location without paying additional fees. So I called LA fitness on 1st which was my primary gym. I was lucky that Mando answered the phone and understood the situation and acknowledge that it wasn't fair to increase the price for a loyal customer. He took charge of the situation and replace my old gym to the new one with no additional cost. That's how business should be done. Thank you

They lock their doors one hour before close. Sucks as a nurse at the end of my shift the last 1 hour I could use to work out I can’t. Cancelled my membership.

It's a very clean and relaxed atmosphere with LOTS of exercise equipment

They have tons of equipment and lots of machines. Pretty much any sort of machine or equipment you would need. The only problem is that it gets really busy in the late afternoon/evening, after work and school, to the point where you need to wait for benches to be open. Apart from that it’s very good.
