This is my second home!! All of the staff is so friendly. They have all of the body building equipment I need. The Yoga classes are my favorite thing to center my being and I love to wind down with a sauna session. The Kids Club offers my niece a safe and comfortable space to play where I know she is well cared for. LA fitness will always be my gym!! 🤩💪🏼🧘‍♀️🩵🩵🩵

The machines set up is wack, the smith machine should not be so close together. The lat pulldown machine one is always broken and the other two is always taken. When I go to use the cables in the room trainer kicked me out even tho only her and one other person was in there, and they weren’t even using the machine I was going to use real quick. I hope the new manager does a change around with this set up, maintenance, and perhaps not have the trainers be so hostile with there “space”. This gym is small enough as it is.

Bring Juan back! This new manager just stays quit in her chair. If she’s the only one in the front desk, she should at least be saying welcome in our acknowledging her guest coming into her gym.

I joined in May of 2025 and to date everything has been going wonderfully. However today I had perhaps one of the most unprofessional interactions I've had wire someone in a customer service position. Two days ago I arrived to a sign indicating the pool was closed. When I inquired about it reopening I was told it wasn't technically closed and we could swim at our own risk which I did. This morning I called a little before 9 am and spoke to Miranda D and asked if the pool was open and if any classes were going on. She told me there was an aqua fit class at 9 but after that it would be open for lap swimming. I arrived around 10:45 and a man was in the pool swimming laps. Right after I got in she entered the pool area and asked me to get out. I asked why and she claimed she didn't like the look of the pool. I told her about the interaction two days ago and asked if we could swim at our own risk or if I had to get out. She replied "Well I'm not going to drag you out." At that point I replied "Okay I'll respect that." And I got out of the pool. I proceeded to walk out a door that had been propped for the past 3 days with a fan that people have been going in and out of. She waited until I got into the doorway and then yelled across the pool "You can't go out that door" at that point I was already out and on the other side. She proceeded to chase after me screaming "What is your name. I will revoke your membership right now. What is your name." I was stunned. I went to the desk to speak to a manager who I knew and I expressed concern that she was confrontational, aggressive and threatening. She denied that yelling at me saying she would revoke my membership was a threat. At no point did I argue with her, raise my voice or otherwise engage with her in a way that could be considered disrespectful. It was such a benign situation that I was truly stunned at the unprofessionalism displayed. I asked for her supervisors name and she provided Alex Luna. She contacted him in my presence to let him know I would reach out. I've attempted to do so and so far I've received no response. I then reached out to James Tyree and have not received a call back either. I am concerned that this level of unprofessionalism was exhibited. And even when attempting to talk to her she could have apologized at that point for her reaction but instead dug her heels in. I think the way she engaged was entirely inappropriate and demonstrates a lack of professionalism and maturity that is required for the position she is fulfilling. If that is how she engaged with customers in a customer service position it is alarming. No one deserves to be yelled at and treated with the level of disrespect I was subjected to when i ultimately willingly complied with exiting the pool through an open door that multiple people had gone in and out of.

I am a member of LA fitness I go to the one iin Northwest Tucson.on Ina I reported two weeks ago that Jacuzzi has an electrical issue. I returned back. It continues to have the concern.. The Jets will intermittently work the switch will at times turn on the jets and at times it will not . I reported it again to the front desk and they did nothing. A y staff person stated “ look it working now.” I told told him it has an electric electrical issue and I’m concerned due to the water and electricity situation someone can get hurt or get electrocuted. I also contacted the corporate office as well and advised them. They said they will look into it. I returned today and it continues to have the same problem. There is not even a notification that the Jacuzzi is closed or has a problem. I’m concerned . No concern for its Members !! The corporate office did not even respond or take care of this. I have decided I may go to another location. I feel they have an unsafe condition for members. Respectfully a Concerned number.

I just canceled my membership on the spot after witnessing some of the most disgusting behavior I’ve ever seen from an employee. The man with the “We the People” tattoo on his arm verbally degraded and humiliated a guest an overweight young man who was simply trying to use a guest pass to better himself. Instead of welcoming or helping him, this employee mocked his weight and said, “Maybe if you had more money you could come in.” Let me be crystal clear: this was not a joke, this was not playful this was targeted, cruel, and humiliating. That young man was doing the hardest thing anyone can do showing up. And your employee turned it into a public spectacle.
This kind of behavior is beyond unprofessional it’s outright abusive. If this is the kind of staff you keep on the floor, you’ve got far bigger problems than just a canceled membership. That man should be fired immediately. No excuses, no warnings. There is zero place for bullying in a gym especially from the people being paid to represent it

Despite whatever justification he will attempt to use, there is no reason not to conduct yourself professionally. It is up to YOU as the manager to calmly explain things.

We have contacted Juan the Ina mgr and corporate LA Paul and Steffanie regarding the clubs poor hygiene from the water quality and bandaids remaining by the spa for several days. Juan''s solution is he will close the pool and did not accept the Leslie water testing we supplied or provide his preferred testing. Recommend you find another club. Aso Tucson Health dept has not responded to concern and water tests quality below 50%.

Christa and the team are great with my babies! They watch over them and give me time to put in a couple hours to prioritize myself and my mental and physical health. I’d recommend this LA Fitness to anyone with kiddos for moms/dads who want some “me” time! :)

Please get some new basketballs. They ones you have are raggedy. I only got the membership to play basketball and I’ll be damned if I have to settle playing with a low quality basketball that’s flat, and torn. They say people steal the balls then there should be a system in place where people who take the balls should be held accountable - don’t make me suffer because of someone’s actions. I want to enjoy a quality basketball game and it starts with a quality basketball.
