We’re celebrating an incredible milestone with our kids have officially completed one year of training with ATA Black Belt Academy in Lake Havasu!
Over the past year, we've watched them grow in confidence, discipline, and respect. Our 12-year-old has found a place where she feels truly accepted — quirks and all — and is constantly encouraged to chase her goals with determination.
Our 8-year-old, who once struggled with defiance, has made a remarkable transformation. Her attitude, focus, and leadership skills have soared, thanks to the positive and empowering environment at ATA.
The atmosphere here is nothing short of amazing — filled with compassion, motivation, and a strong sense of community. This isn’t just Taekwondo; it’s leadership development, personal growth, and a whole lot of fun.
We’re beyond grateful to be part of the ATA Black Belt Academy family!

Starts out good then you and your kids see favoritism and un earned time for
Classes. For new belts and certificates mostly given to favorites that didnt deserve them,not enough time or days in class. Very un fair. Yelling, down grading students, worse place to go. They teach respect and don't know how to give it. Poor kids are so damaged from here they're afraid try anything new. I do not recommend. Look at the turn out how many quit due instructors not the work. My kids came every day never missed a belt and was treated bad over others barely came class no motivation and manage make the new belt or honors. If This is how you want earn your place then go,but guaranteed you will need some kind therapy before your done if you don't make it as one of the favorites

This amazing place brings back so many memories of my childhood. Before i left i was currently a black belt at the age of 10. The people who make up this dojo each and everyday always has a certain place in my heart. Everyday in and out i would work hard with my peers to become the best version of myself. Till this day i love the each and everyone here passionately. These people who trained to improve themselves each and everyday inspired me to become what i am now. As of this year i will be entering high school as a first year or known as a freshman. I hope to see all of fellow students strive to become better individuals in this world. The amount of respect i have for this place is to much for words to describe, god bless.

Our Nephew just completed his first year of training with the LHBBA. This school belongs to the International ATA, which was very important to us when considering enrollment. Hunter was shy and timid and within a couple months we began to notice considerable changes in his self esteem and general attitude. He has been able to challenge himself in powerful ways. The various instructors each bring something special to his training experience. Self esteem, physical endurance, respect, discipline, accountability, situational awareness- all things that come to mind when describing my observations of his time at the school. There are even high ranking World Champions who regularly visit the school from out of town to teach drills and demo their skills! Highly recommend you give this school a call. We are excited to recommend the Lake Havasu Black Belt Academy representing the many enjoyable programs of the ATA. My children and I continue to learn and grow mentally and physically from our training here. There are classes for all age groups ranging from the little Tigers program for kids beginning at age 4 to programs for seniors. This is a fun and interesting way to exercise, while learning to defend yourself and family. There are leadership and special weapons programs taught by a variety of instructors with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Additionally, there are special classes for Krav Maga, advanced sparring and weapons, and Tai Chi. This location also has an on-site store for martial arts gear! There’s something for everyone at the LHCBBA! (Located on North Lake Havasu Ave, near the drive up ‘’Social Bean’’ Coffee business.)
