Nice gym but small and give you a hard time if you’re in from out of town. I’ve given lifetime thousands of dollars over the years and been a loyal member only to be treated like this and it’s only in Scottsdale. Even New York City lets me work out in Manhattan. They call it snobsville for a reason.

Nice club - but most definitely not worth the price. It’s a slightly above average gym - but definitely not worth the $$ - they are hoping to lure pretentious people looking for status - albeit, it’s anything but status

I have to say, Justin at Lifetime Fashion Square makes such a difference. He’s warm, professional, and genuinely takes care of people! You feel it right away. He goes out of his way to make members feel welcome, and honestly, he’s so good at what he does that I could see him running the place. People like him are rare!

DEAR CORPORATE OFFICE: if it’s true about you all are the ONLY ones that can control the air in this gym in Scottsdale from a whole different state and weather pattern YOU ALL ARE CRAZY!!! This is what has been told to us here when we complain about the nasty humid air in the gym! The humidity is 90% or higher which mates it difficult to breath and get a good workout in! I’m sure it can also be dangerous; it definitely has not been this way past years so what’s happening?!?

Great facility with admirable staff and peers. I saw a gentleman one night twerking on a bar top at Riot House then the next morning he was at Lifetime hitting the weights right alongside me. He was also posted on their Instagram sipping a drink with a backwards hat and purple shorts, love his dynamic and his commitment to fitness while also maintaining such a flamboyant and fun lifestyle alongside it. That is what Lifetime Fitness is all about, balancing fun while being consistent with your long term goals. The facility is beautiful, come check it out!

Great club. In fact, more like a spa. From the cafe, weight room, cardio areas, and pool it feels like your on a mini vacation. The club has a coed "rejuvenation suite" with a steam room, sauna, cold plunge, large hot tub, and rain showers. Locker rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly. Not a family gym by design, but if you are single (or a couple) and serious about health-fitness there is no better option in the area. Highly recommend.

In general, I like the gym. This particular location is limited in size and can get busy during peak times. It's also pretty common that certain amenities like the steam room and cold plunge have been closed for maintenance sometimes for several days or even a week. Given the high membership cost per month, maintenance should be improved so members aren't inconvenienced.

Nice facility. Smaller than others around and smaller than usual LT clubs. Their customer service varies. Some at the front are gracious and friendly to out of town visitors. Others less so. They are inconsistent in their enforcement of the company policy which allows guests from out of town or state to use clubs when visiting. I’ve used clubs all over NYC and miami and other states as I travel and this is the only club that has ever given me a hard time or flat denial when visiting.

So glad I just found this and started going recently. It is a bit far but worth the drive and way more expensive than any other gym I’ve been to before but it’s an investment in myself and I think it’s worth it at this place. It’s about 260$ a month for my standard membership along with my 3 kids included in that. They have personal trainers, all sorts of classes included, several pools, jacuzzis, saunas, family locker rooms, individual locker rooms, family areas, adult areas, resting areas with chairs/tables/wifi/tvs, workout areas, cafes, a rock wall, basketball court, pickle ball courts, a spa and even more.. like literally everything I need! Like a healthcare mall/gym/center. I love it.

Most importantly to me, they have a great daycare, like the best daycare I ever seen at any gym. That’s been a key factor on why I left most of my other gyms cuz as a single mom I rely on solid childcare for my kids so I can even feel comfortable to leave them. On top of the employees seeming so sweet they actually have activities and toys and games and a playground and games and little classes for the kiddos that are included and they are allowed to workout supervised even, I’ve never seen a gym like that. I’m super excited to start going here more. The employees truly seem to be genuine and knowledgeable and care about helping others.

The trainer Cory is a magician with the massages. I’ve been having muscle tightness in my upper chest that then started translating to my shoulder and upper back. He broke down the problem to me in terms of anatomy and went above and beyond to not only help release this tightness from all spots, but also teach my how to keep it loose with a routine of stretches. This is a pain that I’ve been battling for over a year and has even caused me injury. Can’t thank him enough! Pay him more!

Beautiful gym, however the staff are incredibly rude and entitled. They never greet you when you first walk in (particularly the tall blonde guy). Customer service is not their strong suit and clearly not apart of their new hire training.

Today, I waited 10 mins to buy a water at the cafe while 2 staff members (same blonde guy) 20’feet away stood there talking while acknowledging me standing there.

They’re young, inexperienced staff that are ruining the reputation of the gym because of the dull, entitled and disinterested personalities.

A trainer who I don’t know touched me without my permission. Personal space and boundaries are important. I can’t ever imagine as a trainer, physically interacting with a client let alone a stranger without making sure they are comfortable with it first.

Plus the overpriced initiation fee and higher rate because they are somehow more luxury than other LifeTimes just because it’s in Scottsdale? It’s a small LifeTime, compared to the Biltmore location everything is cut in half. The Biltmore location seems to have friendlier staff, bigger pool size and massive cafe space

I was looking for a massage in the area and had no luck until I called Life Time. Liam was awesome enough to accept a last min appointment for me.

I don't get massages very often as my previous experiences at other locations were underwhelming. But after my appointment w/ Liam, I may have to change that.

Liam hit every stress point I had with expertise. Knots that I've had in my back for years... gone in a matter of minutes! We even laughed as I was so relaxed, my body "noodled" and I didn't want to get up when we were done.

10/10, would highly recommend this Spa.
Ask for Liam and you won't be disappointed.

From the first moment you walk through the doors you are top priority and your relaxation and wellness is what is most important!!! Top of the line equipment, poolside cabana, bistro and rooftop club!!! The aesthetic of this modern gym/club/oasis is the representation of peace, next to the natural beautiful Arizona scenery and the incredible staff make this a repeat visit for anyone on a trip to or near Scottsdale, AZ!!!!

Don't forget on your visit to ask for Liam at the spa for one of the most amazing massages. His passion for giving all of his clients the most relaxing and peaceful experience is what makes him truly one of the best!!! I recommend to get on the books for Liam as soon as possible, you will not be disappointed!!!

From the minute you walk through the doors you're greeted by a smile. Although the location is a bit smaller it makes for a more intimate experience because you can really get to know your fellow members who clearly value their health and wellness.

The club boasts a beautiful roof top pool, studios with amazing yoga and workout classes, training floors with plenty of equipment, fantastic trainers (Tyler is friendly and knowledgeable,) not to mention the spa with a stellar aquatherapy circuit and talented estheticians/massage therapists.

Look no further for your all in one wellness oasis.

I really like this gym; for me the equipment I want is always available and it's very clean. It's a comfortable temperature inside, even when it's hot out. I do think it's getting a little more crowded, but it's not bad (compared to what I am used to at the Biltmore location). I regularly see the general manager going around and checking things to be sure they are in order. He is good. I appreciate that the water fountains actually have cold water (again, unlike Biltmore).

Most of the staff are awesome, but I am taking a star off because of two employees that need coaching:
-The trainer with long hair is rude and he likes to shoot dirty looks at members (this is mentioned in another review and it's 100% accurate). He also gets a little too close at times and it feels like that is an intimidation tactic.
-The elderly lady at the front desk has never once said "goodbye" to me and I'm pretty sure that is at least 70% of her job - greeting members. I think she might just not like me...but you still have to do your job.

I must express my profound disappointment with the year-long tenure I maintained at this fitness establishment. To commence my evaluation, I feel compelled to address the conduct of a male trainer sporting long hair, whose presence within the gym has regrettably left much to be desired. On multiple occasions, this individual appeared to engage in a discouraging practice of casting disdainful glances upon gym-goers with seeming impunity. Additionally, there were disconcerting instances where he deliberately obstructed my workout routines, creating an atmosphere that bordered on the provocative.

A second and equally significant concern contributing to my assignment of a one-star rating pertains to the financial outlay demanded by this establishment in relation to the available workout amenities and spatial resources. In stark contrast to the hefty financial commitment required here, alternative fitness centers offer an expanded array of exercise equipment and a substantially larger workout area for a fraction of the cost.

In summation, my overarching experience at this particular gym has been profoundly unsatisfactory. As someone who has patronized numerous Lifetime fitness facilities across various locations throughout the United States, I am regrettably compelled to classify this establishment as among the lowest tier I have encountered.

As a founding member, this place is such a disappointment. When you pay more for something, you expect more not way less. This club is the equivalent of a planet fitness. It is TINY and closes earlier than their lower tiered clubs. It's so small that the spa facilities have to be coed. It feels very claustrophobic compared to any of their other clubs. This should be called lifetime Express for $19.95 a month.

Lifetime Fashion Square is an unparalleled experience that is truly worth every penny. From the minute you walk in the door you will be greeted (usually by name) by friendly and knowledgeable staff that have a passion for industry.

The facilities are top notch, state-of-the-art equipment, beautiful studios, and a roof top pool with an amazing view to name a few. There is truly something for everyone at this club, whether you are just starting your fitness journey or are a seasoned athlete.

But what sets Lifetime Fashion Square apart is the staff. Often, I will catch the General Manager, Mike, during his personal workout, where he will typically be carrying around a cordless vacuum cleaning up while doing his own workout – this shows that he is not only great leader but takes great pride in his facility, he treats it as if he owns it. Luis – lead trainer is a gem – he gives everything he has in every session – listens to his clients and really takes the time needed to properly assess them and learn a little about their personality so he can best serve them – he holds you accountable when you need it – knows when to push you and knows when to tell you its time to rest – Mike and Luis have hired an absolutely amazing crew of personal trainers – no matter who you are training with or if you are there working out on your own, every single one of them will cheer you on, answer any question you may have and honestly make you feel like you are part of a family. This staff goes above and beyond to ensure every member feels welcomed and supported.

Overall, Lifetime Fashion Square is more than just a gym, it is an experience that will help you transform your life. If you are looking for a fitness club that will exceed your expectations in every way, look no further than Lifetime Fashion Square.

I absolutely love and am incredibly grateful for Lifetime Fitness Scottsdale Fashion Square. For an elevated fitness experience in the Valley, this is the place to be. The entire team is exceptional, from GM Mike Esposito to the entire personal training crew (including lead Luis and trainers Shanna and Jen, who inspire me and add so much to my everyday), to the member concierge led by Katie, group fitness lead by Dawn and cafe led by Scott. They always welcome me warmly (and by name), create a community atmosphere, and demonstrate time and time again that they genuinely care not just about my experience, but also about me as a person. It's so much more than just a gym.

The club itself is stunning and has a wide array of top-notch equipment, including cool recovery tools like Power Plate and Hyperice. The yoga room with floor-to-ceiling glass is a dreamy spot for a yoga practice with breathtaking mountain views and abundant natural light. I very much appreciate the variety of group classes offered—my favorites so far are GTX with Shanna, Spin with Celeste, Barre with Tracy N and Tracy P, Surrender Yoga with Sarah and Patrick, and Root Yoga with Hirono. The Pilates studio is also impressive.

The locker room is well-appointed and connects to a unisex wet room equipped with a Jacuzzi, cold plunge, sauna, and steam room. These amenities are perfect for unwinding and rejuvenating after a workout. Additionally, the club has a spa offering massages and facials, which I am excited to indulge in.

The rooftop beach club with an Olympic-size pool is a true gem, brimming with chaise lounges and cabanas, all against the picturesque backdrop of Camelback Mountain. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind while sipping a smoothie or indulging in a soon-to-be-offered wine or cocktail from the pool bar.

The café serves fantastic smoothies and offers a variety of menu items and grab-and-go food options. It also stocks a variety of supplements, bars and snacks.

The facilities are always impeccably maintained, which is a major plus. Overall, Lifetime Fitness Scottsdale Fashion Square has exceeded my expectations and is the perfect spot to work out, relax and socialize. I highly recommend this club to anyone who wants to experience top-of-the-line fitness!

The gym is very well constructed and walking into this lifetime felt like a serious dream. It has a very polite and engaged staff which were more than happy to give advice on certain exercises and how to do them. I did have a few complaints about this lifetime:

- The weight room felt so congested - there was barely any space to stretch and how does an onyx gym have more space to stretch and more racks, I was highly disappointed to see it.

- I was very disappointed with the alpha space being covered in more treadmills than racks.

- The yoga floor was nice - but there could be other space used for it.

- The pricing for the gym is a bit too high, I feel like Biltmore nearby does the same job for a cheaper month to month rate and has a better use with it’s space

- The cold plunge and spa space is very cool.

Hottest Gym in Scottsdale!

South Scottsdale/Fashion Square desperately needed a luxury gym, and the new Life Time Fashion Square answered the call! Four stories with state-of-the-art equipment, a rooftop pool, an oversized parking garage nearby, and luxurious spa/locker rooms.
