The clubhouse is along side some apartments. It has been downsized and the equipment is now upstairs. They have their classes downstairs. It's a nice, clean facility and most of the equipment is in good condition. I was a little disappointed because I have trouble climbing stairs so it's a little difficult for me. There is a bathroom but it is downstairs. Once you go to the pool it is recommended that you go home in your swimsuit. So I haven't used the pool because I don't want to wet my car seat. There are lockers but there is no way to lock them. On Sundays there is no staff.

New member here but I am already in heaven. This is a no frills gym. If you are here to put in work, sweat, and get in shape, everything you could need or want is here. If you want to socialize and such then go to Chuze or Vasa. Very clean, staff is friendly. Glad to find this place.

I've been a member for most of the years since 2009. The following is pre-covid:

Without changing rates they had reduced the hours down to like 6am-3pm for the pool. Random days the whole place wouldn't be open with a 'sorry' sign. I think they started closing week-nights at 7pm or 8pm and it changed around quite a lot. At some points weekends closed at maybe 4pm. On top of this half the facilities/amenities were broken, and there had even been a fire in the sauna, the steam room worked sometimes. So the group of swimmers and gym people I used to go with eventually all just quit.

Post-covid and construction I re-established membership with high hopes that it would be better with new facilities. They opened a single lane where you could swim in a half covered pool filled with rotting plant matter and dirt from construction while management lounged in their office. Even now they are closing the pool well before people get off work, and on the days I can go they keep only a single lane open so as to further prevent me from swimming. The amenities like steam/sauna are still incomplete or broken.

All this and not a lick of apology an offer for some credit back for over months and months of being restricted by changing hours, not even trying to make the pool something people can use. Last time I reestablished once the pool reopened they still found a way to force me to pay another re-initiation fee, and offered nothing in form of apology. Perhaps they will get it together someday here. For now I can't recommend this place to anyone.

my own personal gym away from the big gym when you can't get on any weights and have to take turns. never have I jumped to different exercises and been held up. love it here. they include pool, spa, sauna, and everything you need to meet your health and lifestyle goals.

The all new facilities are nice, clean, and not crowded. It is a smaller facility than the old gym located on the same property. Strict attention to COVID protection is in place

Love this gym. If they could get the patrons that consider themselves more entitled than the rest of us, to rerack their weights, it would be great

This is a great place to workout and take classes , they also have a pool and hot tub, showers and sauna. I love this as my go to place to workout or have a swim.

I rarely write reviews, however, the two older women who appear to be apart of management for this athletic club have consistently contributed to the worst experience I have ever had at a gym. They have poor customer service and problem solving skills. Do not go to the gym if you want to be treated poorly.

I'd give this place zero stars if they'd let me. Lets start off with the fact that they never have their AC on. My 65 year old mother asked them to turn it on because it was unbearably hot in there, the owner flat out said no. Second, my mother is on Medicare and they have a program called silver snickers which pays for gym memberships. MIDVALLEY HAS BEEN DOUBLE DIPPING FROM MY MOTHERS POCKETS AND SILVER SNICKERS FOR MONTHS! When she changed her bank account info, they kicked her out and told her she owed them money! DO NOT GO HERE!

To dirty an don't complain i repeat don't complain the management doesn't take to kindly to negative input i had been a member for over 3years i was told today that owner would NOT accept my Silver Sneakers pass an have pay 75dollars a month to continue my membership that is 3 times amount because i complain that that family staff members are lazy an DONT Clean up i will not pay thisamount i will no longer be a member so watch ur back good bye n Good luck

Do NOT join this gym! It's always hot inside. They are such tightwads, they never put the air on. It's impossible to complete a workout because it's so unbearable. The owner's daughter is so unpleasant, and disrepectful to customers. I feel frustrated everytime i leave.

Monthly rates are affordable. This place has everything. lots of free weights, and exercise machines. A half court basketball court and racketball room. Dedicated spinning room with about 20 bikes? Classes on different weekday evenings. They also have a dry sauna, Steam bath, Outdoor lap pool (3 lanes) and Hot tub. For the price, and variety of equipment I really enjoyed my time spent here. Most people are friendly and staff is always around.
