They have worked so hard on this golf course, (after 2 previous owners ran it into the ground) and their hard work shows. The people are friendly, helpful and fun. I’ve had some great experiences on this golf course in the past. However, the most recent visits have not been enjoyable. The front staff is great, the rangers and home owners have such a lack of respect to golf goers. For lack of better terms this course has not been friendliest as of late. The driving range is nice, and so is the putting green. They have a green to do chipping and some pich shots, but it's not maintained, and there's no sand in the bunker. But that's the only thing to complain about lol. Still is a perfect spot to go practice.

This is a very good golf value, especially during the winter months when all Phoenix area courses are overpriced for what they are. The course was in reasonably good condition except for the putting greens. It looks like some of them may be infested with an undesirable grass that causes them to be bumpy and variable speed. The layout is varied and enjoyable. Watch out for #17, the only hole that is over seeded in the rough--it is cart path only. Clubhouse staff very welcoming.

Very rude and disrespectful staff. My husband and father took me to the driving range to hit a few balls, as I have zero experience golfing and was interested in learning. As soon as we stepped on the range, we were approached by a male employee who proceeded to talk down to me and went as far as to explain how grass grows since apparently we are not intelligent enough to understand something of this nature. I am extremely offended by the way myself, my husband, and my father were treated. All I wanted to do was learn a new sport, but it was made abundantly clear that I am not welcome here. We will not be returning.

I've given this place multiple chances over the years when I've vacationed here. Consistently rude service. They have consistently struggled to grow grass on the course. The greens are a complete mess. I don't expect perfection but I prefer when the greens don't have crab grass and weeds on them or previous golf holes two feet from the current hole. I don't golf often anymore, but when I do, I shoot low 80s, and I have never been treated this poorly on a golf course. Staff have been rude every time I've gone there over the years. Two days ago, I got charged a riding fee for my wife, who doesn't even play. I just went to the driving range today, and they were extremely rude again. Their balls even damaged the face of my brand new driver. They had rocks on the driving range, too. The driving range maxes out at 200 yards, and the average driving distance of someone who plays here appears to be under 200 yards from what I observed on the course. This place is for complete hackers. Maybe if they treated people nicer, they wouldn't have changed owners multiple times in the last few years.

I play this course regularly. It’s in great shape and getting better all the time. If you haven’t played it in a while you need to check it out. The price is the best around for summer play. The proshop has great merchandise and the Grille has excellent food. The staff is inviting and always treats you well. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best breakfast burrito I've ever had! What a great deal right before a round to get some calories. Haven't played the course yet, but I am about to in 20 minutes. We've golfed here a few times within the past couple of weeks and every round has been painfully slow. They don't have a marshall and when we complained to the pro shop between the 9th & 10th hole, all we were told is "sorry it's been busy". Yeah, well maybe you're putting the tee times too close together. When you have anywhere from 3 to 5 groups on the first par 3 (hole 3), then again on hole 6, then again on hole 13 and then again on hole 16, something is seriously wrong. Today we teed off at 1:36 and finished at 6:30. Almost 5 hours, which is ridiculous. It's a good way to stop golfers from coming back if this consistently happens every day. I know we won't be coming back because it seems that it doesn't matter whether it's a weekday or weekend, count on a 5 hours (at least) round.

9-16-22 I was golfing at this course and it was in rough conditions. A lot of patches in the fairways and a few sand bunkers that could have easily cause major injuries if not aware of where your walking. I will have to give a update when I play in sometime this month on the condition of the course.

Had a great time playing 18. The staff was really friendly and the Marshall was the coolest lady I’ve ever met. The course was in great shape but some brown patches on the greens. The price was well worth the drive from Phoenix.

Our family had a blast at Mission Royale. We got tired of paying $100 or more to play mediocre golf courses. We drove 45 minutes to check this course out and are so glad we did. Where else can you play for around 50 bucks! The greens were fast fairways were nice, but most of all the staff was awesome. I don’t remember the Marshalls name, but she was a kick, and checked on us throughout the day. Kudos to her!! We will be back! 😊

Disappointing. Server put olives in my drink with bare fingers AFTER handling money. Friends had wine in very water spotty glasses. Prices are higher that most area pubs. No happy hour specials. I played Mission Royale Golf Club today. Wow!!!! What a change from the last times I played the course. The greens rolled true, the fairways were green and lush. The new owner group has really changed this course. I can’t wait to play it again. The restaurant is open again, and the menu reflects what a golf club grill should be.

Live and play on the course. The time, effort and expense of bringing this course back to life has been a journey to watch and experience. There has been so much done in a relatively short period under challenging conditions. Renewing both wells has provided the much needed boost to the ability to water as needed to keep the Tee boxes, fairways and greens thriving. I anticipate that the Grand Opening in November will prove to be an eye opener to the Casa Grande Golf Community. The efforts of all involved will be a plus for not only Mission Royal. Played Mission Royale, on August 24, 2021 for the first time in a couple of years. Good Track! Much improved since the past several years. Opening day! It was great! Course is about 75% back to life and on its way to being the 5 star course it will be. Staff was kind, knowledgeable, and available for all needs. Elite golf has done an incredible job in just a few short weeks. You won’t get to play this cheap by next fall on this great of a course is take advantage.

Absolutely horrid course. Fairways are burned out or bare dirt. Tee boxes are 3” tall weeds and the fringe is 6” tall grass/ weed combo. Owner admitted course was not in good shape and only charged $15 but wow, that was too high. Stay away. Rumor from homeowners is that the owners are in default on the loan and taxes. I am visiting my sister who lives at Mission Royals and decided to play golf at the course. This is a public course not hooked into the subdivision. Anyone can play. Green fees when I played on June 13th and 15th were $25. What a deal. Great course, fantastic layout, the two club house gentlemen, Shane and Bart were the most personable individuals I have ever met in my 65 years at any golf course. I was a single and they got me out early and quickly. These are two fine ambassadors for this course.

Tee boxes great, cart paths all cement and in great shape, greens rolled great and will be even better once the summer heat stops, fairways in very good condition considering it was about 110 degrees. Very fair for any level of golfer. What a great experience. PLAY THIS COURSE! You will not be disappointed.

Went on a Friday morning. Frost delay of about one hour So we headed to the restaurant for coffee and home made cinnamon buns. We got on a bit earlier than thought. Course was in good shape. Fairways were lush, but was patchy near the sides. Could have been cut more as I prefer a tighter cut fairway. Although even and level, I found the grass on the tee boxes a bit high also. Most of the bunkers were in good shape, but some had weeds growing out of them. Greens looked patchy but actually rolled well and were quick. A number of them had a bit of undulation. The course is fair and is good for golfers of all handicaps. Driving range, chipping and putting green available. I don 't recall seeing a drink cart. Staff were friendly and helpful. Green fees paid were $50pp (includes range balls), a bit higher than two of the other courses in the city that we've played which are comparable. Still, I would play again.

Course close to closure for over seeding tomorrow 10/1. A few rough spots, weeds and goat head weeds pretty prevelant that hopefully will be addresses during overseeding. More challenging than Robson Ranch golf, more character to fairways and greens way more challenging than Robson. I'm a resident at both Mission Royale and Robson Ranch.

Fun golf course! Under new managment and they have put in the effort to green up the course. The rabbits appreciate it as well as the hawks. The rabbit population is thrieving and it can be pretty fun to watch them graze the teeboxes. I dont know how management feels about the increased wild life but I appreciate golf courses who are helping nature live on.

It's a nice golf course. Though I found myself getting bored around hole 14. There was no cart girl. The pro shop was extremely helpful and friendly. The weren't super strict on tee times, and all of the other golfers were very nice. I know 3 stars is rough, if they had a cart girl it would definitely be. Side note their golf carts do not have ice chests. If you buy beer there it will be served in a grocery bag with ice.
