Motionlab is a technical athletics facility wrapped in a modern social club. At its core, our offerings include a host of premier resources to prepare your mind, body and technique for the game of golf.

Train with our world-class instructors. Develop your body through ‘Bulletproof Golf’ with Carson Kemp. Recover and maintain with our massage therapy and targeted pre-habilitation services. Looking to relax instead? Reserve time on one of our TruGolf simulators and bring the crew in to play a few holes. Better yet, head upstairs to 'The Lounge' to socialize and network over sports, coffee and cocktails.

Top tier culture, facility, and exercise programming! I have been around the gym for close to 30 years now and a few years ago I needed a change from a decade of high level crossfit. In my late 30's, I started to feel less athletic than I was accustomed to, which did not sit well with me. Old age? too much lifting? tight joints? burned out? I honestly didn't have the time to figure it out while trying to build a company. I also knew I wanted to get better at my frustrating weekend hobby, golf. Decided to finally check out Carson's facility and I just wish I had did it a year or two prior. Coming from a place where if I couldn't ring my shirt out w/ sweat, I didn't feel like I did much, I was quickly told to "trust the process". That's exactly what I did and it has been life changing. I haven't lost any muscle, can move close to as well as I did in my early 20's, and have learned a ton about things that I simply would have neglected because they were never a part of programming that I have been exposed to. Carson puts together the best programming if you want to just live a better, more active lifestyle, and as a bonus, you'll aesthetically look better. Dallas and Alistair are fantastic trainers to accompany the programming. they each have their own unique style at getting you to feel and accomplish what the exercise is designed to do/target. The community is very welcoming as there are classes that have people of various age ranges with athletic and gym abilities through the spectrum. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Legit recommendation here. I am 58 years old, closing in on 59. I've always been active, lifted weights on my own for years. Although my diet was highly suspect, I THOUGHT I was healthy. Then I had routine blood work that showed an elevated liver enzyme. Ultrasound found a case of mild fatty liver.

With guidance from Carson, Dallas, and Allistair, I completely cleaned up my diet. I lost roughly 25 pounds, and my fatty liver condition was resolved within six months. This was confirmed by both blood tests and a second ultrasound, and I was given a clean bill of health.

It's been nearly a year since the good news. I feel fantastic. I'm strong as I've ever been. My athleticism, mobility, etc. is as good or better than it was when I was in my 20s and 30s.

But honestly, the best part of MotionLab is that there's a real community happening here. Everyone is fantastic. Zero egos. If you join, the workouts will test you, but it will be the best part of your day.

This is the first time I’ve had a “gym membership” actually result in true measurable body composition change. I increased my muscle mass and went from 40% body fat to 33% slowly but sustainably…as a 58 yr old post-menopausal woman this is significant! I've been at Motionlab for years and there is not a better team of trainers or atmosphere of any gym I've been to. I honestly hesitate to call it a gym because it is so much more than that. Everyone there genuinely cares about your overall well-being and takes an all encompassing approach from diagnosing your mobility and general fitness to tailoring a program that works with your goals and what you want out of your workouts. Motionlab is the best private training studio in North Scottsdale. They specialize in golf and train some of the best golfers on the PGA tour but I came to them for some help with a back injury. We did an assessment, and the trainers were able to give me a program that got me back to training at a high level, and pain free in a way that I hadn't been in years. Highly recommend Motionlab if you're looking for performance and training that doesn't beat you up, always has good energy, and where you meet people that end up becoming great friends.

I'm grateful for a Place named "Motion Lab". About nine months ago the muscles in my back, neck and shoulders were a mess. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort and had stopped lifting weights. I thought something was wrong with my shoulders and was looking into surgery and thought I might have to quit playing golf and stop doing other physical activities I love.
I spoke with my friend Jeremy Moore who referred me to a gym named Motion lab. Interestingly several PGA, LPGA, and Champions tour golfers work out there along with a few former NFL and MLB athletes. I'm not going to name drop, but many of the people who attend motion lab play golf on TV on Sunday. I started attending Group workouts led by former Army Ranger (and legit bad azz) Karson Kemp. The workouts there are different than EVERYTHING I've ever experienced anywhere else. They are a combination of movements, stretches, cardio, core training and resistance training that doesn't quite fall into any other description. No it's NOT cross fit!!!! We don't jump on boxes or flip tires. The leader Carson has a Sixth sense and uses it to carefully monitor all the participants in his classes. He can see when I am having some discomfort, pain or trouble with a movement and he will STOP me from just gutting it out as I would left to my own devices. He has helped me figure out and resolve muscle problems that I was dealing with and get things working correctly and without pain. My flexibility is improving and I now work out at Motion lab 6 days a week and love the people there. It's FUN!!!

Carson and his brother Dallas have been a HUGE blessing in my life by allowing me to return to golf and the physical activities I love. If you are suffering with some sort of pain in your neck, shoulders, hips or elsewhere. It has been "life changing".

MotionLab is an awesome venue with a wide variety of fitness equipment, a putting green, a golf simulator, and a nice lounge area. Carson Kemp and Dallas Kemp are world-class trainers and quality people. Tapping into their knowledge of human movement is like having an owner's manual for your body. I'm approaching my 1-year anniversary of membership and I could not be happier. At 58, I am in incredible shape, my body moves better than ever and I feel decades younger. I also love the membership experience as a whole. Working out with fun, friendly, accomplished, and motivated people is a huge bonus. MotionLab says it is a golf-specific facility (tour wins this past weekend by Anna Nordquist and Chez Reavie more than prove that point), but MotionLab can get anyone moving better—from athletes to soon-to-be former couch potatoes! And the pricing, especially for couples, is a tremendous value. MotionLab gets my absolute highest rating!
