A wonderful place for yoga. Visiting the area and dropped in for a class. I really enjoyed it, instructions were clear, easy to follow and flowed at a good pace. I felt great after my class. People were friendly and the place has a nice welcoming vibe:)

I can’t say enough wonderful things about NAYC classes and their Yoga Teacher Training! The studio has such a welcoming and uplifting energy, making it the perfect space for growth and transformation. The training was truly life-changing—deeply enriching, well-structured, and led with so much wisdom and heart.
The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate about sharing the true essence of yoga. Whether you're looking to deepen your practice or step into teaching, this program is an absolute gift. I’m beyond grateful for this experience and highly recommend it to anyone on their yoga journey! ✨

Wonderful facility, great options of props, person working the desk was very sweet and helpful. I will note, I came from Florida so I’m not a regular at the studio. My friend and I walked by and saw there was a class happening and we decided that that would be a fun addition to the day. I’m a yoga therapist and I specialize in trauma informed yoga and have been teaching and practicing for years. The class we took was with an instructor named Bruce. At the beginning of class he told a joke in a broken Indian accent which was really off putting to start. He did not offer a consent based space and was going around and touching and doing hands on adjustments without asking if that was ok with the practitioner. He tried to do it to me but I verbally told him to not touch me without my consent. He did apologized, and that was kind and necessary. But overall I had a good time because I did all the things my body needed in the moment, and even got a new asana pose. It’s nice to be able to take a class when you’re someone who teaches all the time.

Yoga is… Bruce Bowditch. Bruce was able to conduct a yoga class in an inclusive, edifying, and welcoming way for newbies and seasoned yogis alike. By the end of class I felt at peace and at home in my mind and heart - in a room full of strangers! Overall, I reckon this is a great studio having only gone once. Namaste🙏

This place is really amazing! You can sign up for classes through the MINDBODY App and the check in process is easy.
I’ve attended two classes here that I love to keep attending; One with Matthew who hosts Acoustic Vinyasa and I absolutely love his teachings and his voice during Shavasana, another is with Jourdan who hosts Restorative yoga and this class is extremely calming, relaxing and well worth your time.
I highly recommend NAYC while you’re visiting (or staying) in Flagstaff!

I'm impressed. A good range of classes, nice introductory offers, and a great atmosphere. It's given me a few good workouts so far. (And it's good to review something that's not a fast food place for once!)

There's every kind of yoga you can imagine at NAYC. Instructors are helpful and welcoming. Don't be put off by parking downtown - there is always free parking on the east/west streets nearby, even at peak hours. Get your body and mind toned at NAYC.

My yoga practice is going on 10 years, and up until a month ago I have never frequented a studio so incredible.
You walk through the doors and a peacefulness settles over you. It's clear from the moment you walk in that you are in a sacred space.
With my membership, I've been able to explore nearly all of NAYC's yoga practitioners...and let me tell you THEY ARE SKILLED. I've never been to a studio with a teacher base that's so experienced. These instructors take you to places you can't get at just another yoga studio.
There's a reason this studio has a reputation of being "the best" in Flagstaff. It's because it is. They seriously have the most skilled educators, experiential events, and educational workshops to offer.
I love it so much that I'm taking my 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training at NAYC with Vertical Soul this year!
I included some photos from their site :)

Shannon Arnett is the worst "inner peace" yoga instructor on the planet. She made me want to go home and take a bottle of pills after one meeting. Avoid her at all costs.
