I came to Joe for cross training to supplement my martial arts training. He has helped me achieve what I thought was impossible. His workouts are smart and thorough. He understands physiology and how muscles function and has fine tuned a program for me that gives me results beyond my expectations. I never enjoyed working out and I didn’t know how to until I came to oro strength. Also the workout plan leaves me feeling strong not soar! My training partners are also very supportive and positive.

I am the owner Joe’s wife. So my review might be a bit biased, but I just want to share that I have worked with a lot of trainers in the past and Joe is different. He is much more individualized and really takes a person’s age, injuries and lifestyle into consideration. Additionally, he doesn’t have the typical ego that I have seen others have and if our gym is not the right fit, he is more than happy to make other recommendations and suggestions for you. Who else is so open-minded and really puts the client over all else? This is absolutely a work of love for him. We hope you join us, for a trial or longer. Here’s to a strong and healthy you! 💪

I am 44 years old approaching my second summer at Orostrength and still hitting PRs. I feel stronger than I have ever been and with the Orostrength philosophy I am healthy and injury free. Joe understands the work smarter not harder approach, and as a result we lift heavy while minimizing risk of injury. I can count on one hand the gym sessions I've missed at Orostrength because we have fun and work all at the same time. This lifting community is in the zone!

Being 61 y.o., the most affirmative thing I can do, in terms of mobility and general well being is weightlifting — bench press, squat, deadlift. Coach Joe Senate’s style of instruction is perfectly adapted to each individual. His knowledge base is vast; his approach is maintaining strength, but without risk and advent of injury.
Orostrength is so much more than just a gym…Orostrength is a team where each team member shares in mutual support and inspiration. Joe is an excellent coach and team leader.

Great little gym. The owner knows lots of the little details for Olympic Lifting and other movements. He is a very likeable dude who works with you to come up with a personal workout plan.
