Outside the Box is the brand of Personal Trainer Andrew Pollock.
Specializing in acclimating beginners to the gym, Intermediate Powerlifting Coaching, Nutritional Counseling, Mobility and General Lifestyle Adjustment.
Outside The Box's mission is to get anyone and everyone out of their box of limitations as well as out of their boring routines in a corporate "Box" gym.
I hope to teach everyone the basics of barbell lifts and exercise programming so that they can confidently take their strength and health into their own hands.

I started working out at the Y this year, for the first time in my life, but that was very basic. Andrew carefully engaged to assess where I was, and what my goals are and he’d constantly calibrate to make our time together worthwhile. (He also got me ready for my H.S. Reunion!) Besides being personable and capable, his knowledge is immense. He understands just what the muscles need and he crafts a strategy for each person. He loves the questions. I’ve been working with him for about 7 months so far, and I never felt better! (My GF also loves the results!)

I have been training with Andrew for almost 2 years. I was very self conscious about seeing a trainer, as I was out of shape and overweight. He made me feel comfortable right away! He is so patient, knowledgeable and encouraging. I have gotten so much leaner and stronger, and truly look forward to going to the gym now. I was looking to weight train again, I wanted my physique back and muscle gain. I was skinny fat though alternate training with wimpy results and on that stupid Keto craziness. Andrew got me results in 8-10 weeks and helped me turn away from the don't eat mentality. haven't turned back since! He has been professional in his entire approach and gets you past all the gimmick ideas on weight training, diets and fads out there and trains you for muscle gain and fat loss. He knows what he is talking about and when I followed his instructions 90% of the time the results have been amazing! I can't imagine doing it any other way, his investment in my future health has helped me gain confidence, muscle, gratification and personal well being. I have been seeing him 10-months and will continue my investment in someone I can trust. Thank you Andrew!

Andrew has been my personal trainer since June. He’s very dedicated and knowledgeable when it comes to your personal fitness goals! He takes his time to show you how to properly do the exercises and explain how they work each body group! Over the last few months I have seen amazing results as Andrew does help with a diet plan as well! I would definitely recommend Andrew as your fitness coach! He is AMAZING!! 😊

Andrew is a wildly knowledgeable trainer. I've been working with athletes for about a decade and half at this point and it's clear that Andrew is the new standard for trainers. He has an intuitive sense that he balances out with concrete evidence. If you're even remotely serious about your training, hire Andrew.

Andrew is an amazing trainer! He has great programming and listens to my concerns. He modifies workouts to adjust to my physical limitations as well. Since starting with Andrew, I have lost 45 pounds and a ton fat. He is a great nutrition coach and helped me lean down. I can actually see muscles and I get a lot of compliments. :-) I highly recommend Andrew to anyone who is ready to take their health seriously.
