I came to Peoria Pines 11•12•25 at 10:45 am to practice at the driving range. The Pro Shop Associate was quite nice and professional. The quality of the turf and the condition of the range balls was far superior to any other facility that I have been to lately. I had a terrific time and will return to both play a round and eat at the restaurant. I really enjoyed the vibe.

Very disappointed in the course conditions. Seems like it is continuing to go down hill & nothing like the country meadows days. For cost of greens fees here I would expect better conditions. Every green has noticeable pin placement holes showing but even worse on 11-15 causing extremely poor putting conditions. Tee boxes that look like deserts because there is much more sand than grass & bunkers that are concrete. Save your $ and golf somewhere else, they are obviously not using it to take care of the course.

No ranger, pace of play is HORRENDOUS.
The course is ehh but to have your staff’s customer service he horrible as well, unacceptable and just overall a bad experience.
Unable to get any food, as well at the turn as nothing ready or able to be made in decent time.
Been golfing here a couple years and each time, it just feels like this place is falling apart.
Avoid at all cost.

Have to give a big THANK YOU to the Peoria Pines staff. First off, they were very friendly from the start when I arrived. But the big item comes about 6 hours later in the day when I realized I left my wallet in the cart and had left the property. They were extremley kind and easy to work with for me getting it back and it was a huge relief.

If you're looking for a chill 18 hole experience, this is a great option. I played in mid-April 2025 and the greens are in incredible condition. Some fo the best i've seen.

I have not played here in 10 years. My son's birthday was today, and he wanted to play here. All the tee boxes were in poor shape, the fairways were fine, and greens, although they were slow, were fine. The only holes I remembered were #13 and 14. There once was a large pond between #14 tee box and the green. 13 and 14 were the only holes I birdied. It was far too expensive for its condition.

Every bad review you read on this site is absolutely true. Had the same experiences today. Got hit up on two times, when confronting the players about it, became very obvious that they were over served. Can you guess where they very after the 18th? Yep! Back in the bar still getting over served. Stay away from this course until management addresses all these issues.

The starter today was perhaps the most unprofessional, disrespectful golf course employee I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve played at at least 40 different courses throughout the valley. One of the outside service attendants even apologized, saying that he would at least think “the starter would have some customer service ability.” Will not go back, I can’t believe they let this guy work here. he attempted to start numerous verbal confrontations through the entire day.

March 21, 2024 Peoria Pines! Cart 34 broke down. Check engine light came on. Pushed cart to get started. Broke down again. The cart was towed in. Play already slow and backed up. Decided not to continue. Asked 'employee' for consideration due to mishap. He refused and stated "you made the decision to not finish". NO! 'Employee of the day', the decision was made for us! Management what say you?

Course is green but poorly kept greens feel like grass in your back yard and putting might as well be chipping. Current head pro is a joke as well they over book and then try and tell you they will not refund and tried to let us not play at all because we had one of AZ top junior golfers with us but since she was 8 they wanted us to not play. After fighting with management we played nine frustrating holes do to lack of care or competency from staff. Over all course used to be fun but seems they are more worried about looking like a golf course then being one. Last item carts are old and they did not even have the decency to spare three tees to put in the carts. Would spend money down the road in sun city if you are looking to golf out on the west side or even surprise.

Played here twice, they are not welcoming of a younger crowd. The cart guys were following my family a couple times and we heard from the group behind us, that they kept asking if we were slowing them down/causing any problems when actually the group in front of us was moving very slow and never once got spoken to. We were waiting to tee off for an average of 15 minutes each hole because of the group in front of us. There’s a lot of par threes on the course and it seems they do not put enough space between the first hole tee times. Their golf store only sells men’s items, no women’s. Their restaurant/snack area is really small, if you’re not going to allow outside food or drink, then it’s important you have more than the only two bag of chips options. We only saw the bev cart girl once. The carts are old and some have screens with the course mapped out while some carts do not have the screen, just depends on if they decide to give you a cart with a screen or not. Not a fan of playing here, it’s only good if you want a quick game.

12/16 - terrible experience here at Peoria pines with the cart staff in the morning, I know the one guys name is rich and forgot the other but I know you can figure that out with the date I posted. Very rude guys in the morning, wouldn’t help me with my bag, very rude when asked where do I go, disrespectful when giving me my cart keys. I’ve never ever went to a golf course and wanted to leave before teeing off in my life. Already off to a terrible Friday morning golf session. It wasn’t until I finished my round that Wade and Wade came up to me and asked how my round went and if I needed anything else, that brightened my mood. The afternoon guys were an absolute delight to deal with. I promised myself that I would NEVER play here again until I met those two wonderful gentlemen. Things need to change here and it starts with the morning guys. No one wants to start there round knowing the guys who are in charge outside don’t want to be there and couldn’t care less that you’re playing there. Also, brighten up your pro shop. No one wants to see 2 70 year old grumpy men who just want to finish their shift before starting a their golf round. Do better Peoria pines.

Only course our foursome could get a decent tee time at during the WM Open week. Essentially an executive course. The clubhouse mentions 3 hour rounds. Not so, they let several groups of 2 & 3 out. Play was sloooow. 4 hours, 15 minutes. Kind of a fun course, but needs to step up their management practices a bit. $54 on a Monday for 18+cart.

Never got service. The new girl there never came by our table. There was other people next to us and they were serviced but never turned around and said anything anything to us. I enjoy this executive (plus) par 63 golf course very much. It has 2 par 5's. 5 par 4's and the rest are par 3's. A couple of the par 3's are a challenge at over 200 yards when playing from the blue tees. I last played in November of 2019 and the course had been overseeded and was in very good shape. Certainly there is room for improvement as some of the fairways got a bit burned over the 2019 summer, and some of the tee boxes could be leveled. They do have a very nice driving range and the staff is very friendly. They make me feel welcome.

This course is monotonous. I’m not a patient person and all the par threes drive me nuts. I’m a traditionalist when it comes to golf so I like the par 72 courses. It just seems like I’m playing put put golf at a par three course. The rating and slope are so low it hurts your handicap and the course is trash. Roughs are to long and you lose balls 1 foot off the fairway. The bunkers are like dried mud. The only thing I really like about it is the drivable par fours. they are fun. All that being said it’s not worth keeping score at this course it should just be considered a practice round

The course is in good shape except the greens will not hold even with a great shot. Play was extremely slow it's ridiculous how they stake up tee times, the clientele are older golfers and slower, but the management doesn't care about the wait time on EVERY hole just concerned about how many golfers they can get on the course a day. If was not fun to play waited at least 10 min on every hole. I will not be back.

I’ve played here a few times and can say they’ve been positive experiences. If you don’t mind playing in some heat, they have some great rates. This course is very short but it doesn’t mean it’s easy. Greens are super fast and you have to rely on finesse - all things I need to practice. The only negative playing here was when a group of 4 jumped in front of my friend and I and didn’t know golf etiquette. Other than that, I enjoy this course.

The price was Ok with a Groupon- which earns the 2 stars. The fairways was dirt. Grass was only where it really should not have been. It was in rough shape.
In July, in Arizona, it is absolutely unacceptable to have only one drinking fountain in 18 holes. Either install drinking fountains or put out Igloo coolers every couple of holes. Ridiculous.

I brought my 12 year old son with me today (fathers day) and had to pay "$10 rider fee" to have him sit in my cart. He didn't play or even have clubs. My green fee plus cart fee covers the cart. My wife and I golfed Peoria Pines on Feb 4th, 2018. The staff was friendly and helpful. The golf course was in very good shape. We hadn't golfed in a few months so we chose Peoria Pines because it was a shorter course but will surely be back the next time we are in the Phoenix area.

What a great time we had here today! Course was in excellent shape, especially considering they just opened from overseed last Monday. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant after the round was awesome. I'm not a packer fan, which they apparently are, but they had plenty of Buckeye stuff too, so that was awesome. I imagine watching football here on a Saturday or Sunday would be awesome. Just a fun, great atmosphere! Food was spectacular too, not just "for golf course" food, but as a restaurant, I would come here just for the food. I had the italian hoagie, which was just like I am used to having back in NY! Thank you to the staff for a wonderful day, we will be back!

My friends and I have played on this course many times. I was a little concerned about the condition of the course itself today. No biggie. I was surprised that there was no one on a cart offering drinks and food for sale. It's posted that you cannot bring food and beverages from outside. And I have no problem with that. But a provision for water or something to munch on would have been nice. In the past there was usually someone doing that.

Played on Easter Sunday we were like the only people there! He told me they had 30 people booked all day. We had a groupon for $23 to play. They would not honor the groupon because it was before 9AM, even though the course was empty. It ended up costing us almost $100 for 2 with small bucket. I can give you a list at least 50 courses in the valley better then this one you can play for less then that right now. The green and fairways were decent but the rough is mowed weeds! We have golfed this course for the past five winters. Our personal experience has been great. They even remember our names and faces for the following winter. Course has always been maintained. Their bar prices are a bit costly so we only have one drink .Course prices are very fair. They are pretty rigid on pricing even if they've misquoted on their confirmation. Food is fair. Breakfasts have been good though..

Terrible place to golf. They are in it for the money. It took 2 and a half hours for 8 holes. We left because we couldn't stand how backed up the 9th hole was. Wouldn't complain if they gave us a rain check on the other 9 holes but nope the manager claimed the pace was fine. My friends and I will no longer give business to this horrible course.

The course was being overseeded on the front, so we played the back nine twice. Fun course! Staff was excellent, food and service super! We will definitely be back.
