I recently had my first meeting with Ryan A. at Physiq Fitness for my Healthier You program, and I couldn’t be more impressed! Ryan took the time to thoroughly discuss my fitness goals and assess my current health, helping me identify both my strengths and weaknesses.

Loved it my first time! Super clean. Weights all racked properly equipment well taken care of. Great atmosphere very nice amenities! Especially liked the pickleball court and recovery room. Only thing I’d say needs a little tlc is the men’s shower room and sauna was a little dirty just the floor could be cleaner but other than that still enjoyed it!

Hands-Down the Best Gym Experience!

If you’re looking for a gym that actually feels like a gym with zero judgment and a great staff, this is it!
The vibe is clean, organized, motivating, and the equipment stays in top shape. I get in, lock in, and walk out feeling like a better version of myself every single time.

But the REAL reason this place deserves a six-star rating is Orlando. I met him when I first joined a few years ago and man is the heart of the whole operation and here ever since! Every time I walk in, he’s bringing the energy, the professionalism, and the “I actually care” attitude that you almost never see anymore. He remembers people by name, keeps the place running smoothly, and somehow manages to make everyone feel welcome whether you’re a beginner or a beast. Need help? He’s on it. Need motivation? He’s got it. Need someone who makes the whole gym feel safe, comfortable, and fun? That’s Orlando!

So yeah, come for the equipment, stay for the vibe, and appreciate the fact that you’ll actually look forward to working out here. This place is that good, and Orlando is the MVP.

Been a member since they were first opened under Crunch , back in 2018. Immediately, took appreciation lay out and variety of equipment. The most annoying thing at a gym, is when members just drop the bar at the squat racks, with hundreds of pounds. Well, that was a non-issue here. Someone had the sense to provide bumper plates at all rack stations, which is the proper solution. Also, many gyms slap on a "maintenance" tag on a piece of equipment for so long , it becomes their name tag. Here, they turn a maintenance tag into actual action and get it done. Still see some of the same folks from day one, as they obviously appreciate all the little things that separate a gym you can barely tolerate, to a place you look forward to spending your time in. I moved out of the area in 2019, so I had to end my membership. Returning to Gilbert in 2020, I was really happy to come back to the gym that felt like home. I'm a guy that has lived in several cities/ states and been disappointed by dozens of gyms. Staying at a gym for 7 + years for me is a huge statement. In addition to members staying from day one, some of the great staff found reasons for longevity. Orlando, is the face of that location to me. The face that greets guests with a smile before any words are spoken. Great place, and some great folks behind it.

The front desk staff is always so friendly and welcoming they really set a positive tone from the moment you walk in. The equipment is clean and well maintained. Spacious layout with plenty of room to move around. Super comfortable environment where you do not feel judged by others which is huge!

I visited this gym while I was in town its worth a sign up if you live in the area, great price and solid workout equipment for a serious workout. This gym is 35 mins away from my house and I will drive there just because I NEVER have to wait for a machine. Everything is always clean and operating properly. I always get greeted and I never have issues. I love how exclusive it is. I’m honestly not sure how anyone can review this gym under 5 stars. For the average gym goer, this place has everything you need. The machines are great, there’s plenty of cardio equipment, there’s a turf area, there’s free weights, bench presses, squat racks, and deadlift platforms. Oh, and did I mention the recovery room? Oh, and the indoor pickleball court! If you’re a bodybuilder, I think this place has enough for you. If you’re a powerlifter, you can probably get by. This gym didn’t have a rogue power bar so I brought one in for everyone to use. I’ve trained with plenty of specialty equipment in the past and although you won’t find much of that here, I think other stuff makes up for it. There’s a belt squat and plenty of Booty Builder (the brand) equipment, which is not going to be in your typical commercial gym! Are there a few pieces of equipment I’d personally swap out? Probably but it’s really not that big of a deal and has more to do with me and previous gyms I’ve been to than anything else.

And as everyone else has mentioned, Orlando is incredibly nice. I’ve never seen someone mentioned so much in google reviews before but once you meet him, it all makes sense.

Unless you’re training for something incredibly niche and need very specific equipment that most gym owners don’t even know exist, this really is a great gym for anyone to use!!

I've been coming to this gym since it was crunch and since physiq took over I honestly think the gym has gone downhill. I don't really see any improvements other than them putting 2 new massage chairs in the "recovery room". They got rid of all their classes besides HIIT and put pickle ball in where I hardly see anyone in there. I guess I don't understand why charge a premium when there really isn't anything special about this gym anymore. Overall I like the staff . Orlando, Kelly, Daisy, and Ellie are awesome.

This is honestly a great gym, no crowds really and nice up-to-date equipment, which is why it’s so disappointing I can’t give it 5 stars. I’ve been a member since before they switched to 24 hours; I have the base membership. It’s been made clear that the 24 hour access is only open to the 2 other more expensive memberships which is totally reasonable. What WAS NOT made clear (and very disappointing when I arrived tonight assuming that they would be open for normal memberships until 11pm) is that with the switch to 24 hours, the hours for people with the base membership would be cut back significantly. Now, base members only have access to the gym from 7AM to 9PM on weekdays (previously 5AM to 11PM) and now 8AM to 2PM on weekends. I completely understand not over working your employees, but to REDUCE the hours SIGNIFICANTLY that base members have access to the gym seems ridiculous especially because it is such a big cut in hours. It all just seems like a way to get people to pay for a more expensive memebership, just to have access to fairly normal hours to go to the gym (ESPECIALLY ON WEEKENDS!!)

I went her for a guest pass during the week and honestly I had a great experience went at the considered prime gym time and I still didn’t have to wait for machines or people to move none of that, has everything you want plus more, Orlando ( praying that’s his name and I didn’t forget ) was awesome, great service super helpful and inviting the wasn’t a downside when I was her besides the distance but that’s nobody’s fault if I lived closer this would be my go to gym easily

I was a member at this gym from 2019 until 2025 when I moved to a new area. I have always loved this gym and it got even better when Physiq took over. Physiq updated so many pieces of equipment and added even more squat racks. There is always a squat rack available, which is so rare at most gyms. There is a large turf area for functional training, along with several benches by the free weights. Their front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. Orlando, one of the club managers, is responsive and has helped me with my membership when needed. I appreciate the dedication he and his team have to the members. Relative to most gyms in the area it is not busy. I rarely have to wait for equipment to become available. I would stay at this gym forever if I still lived in the area. My husband has also been a member for many years and is equally as disappointed to be leaving. I highly recommend this gym

I've been coming to this gym for several years now. Definitely the cleanest and most well maintained gym I've ever attended. Also, the team here is very friendly and helpful (not a typical characteristic of most gyms). I have to call out Orlando especially for helping me out today. I just bought a brand new phone yesterday, a Samsung Galaxy that cones with a stylus pen. When I got home after the gym I realized my pen was missing. I was obviously very upset and assumed I'd have to go buy another one. I figured I'd give Physiq a call to see if it got turned in. I spoke to Orlando and he told me even tho it wasn't turned in he'd still take a look. 3 minutes later he said he had found it and would keep it safe for me until I came back. I've worked in customer service and hospitality for 20 years and I know it's the small things that make a biggest difference. Thanks a lot Orlando! Yet another reason to keep coming back to Physiq!!

This gym is an amazing gym and all the staff are great especially Orlando. I have been coming here for a couple of weeks with my dad and I can say it’s been amazing. Surprisingly very nice place , more than enough of various equipment including treadmills, stepping machines, heavy lifting equipment, massage chairs, hydro massage and such. What i like the most is quite few people on Sunday when i use the gym. Prices are very reasonable.

I have an odd attachment to this gym & can’t seem to get away from it! I’ve been a member since 2022, when it was still Crunch, and now that it has elevated into Physiq my experience has also elevated.

The various upper & lower body machines that were added have been game changer.
The Dance room that they have has always been my favorite! They added a pickleball court in that room and it seems to be a hit.
My one request would be to add ballet barres for dancers who utilize the gym frequently! This would be great for pre/post workout stretching and I believe would be a positive addition.
The Staff here have always been welcoming and supportive. Shoutout to Orlando for being an OG & cultivating such a fun and positive gym community!
Love what I’ve seen from Physiq & I’m excited to see what other great things they will offer.

I checked out Physiq a couple weeks ago for the first time. Orlando gave me a tour. The gym, has a great selection of equipment. I told him I'd come back when I finished a project I was in the middle of. He didn't try to push me into signing up before I was ready. I came back and just signed up for a new membership at 9pm with assistant manager Orlando.
FYI: It's 9pm at night, the locker room, showers, and toilets are clean. My last gym could take a few pointers from this one.

Tried out Physiq for the first time today. The gym is incredibly well equipped with all the best machines. All the equipment was basically brand new and the equipment selection enabled a very nice workout. The gym was basically empty, I had zero wait for any equipment and was able to move through my programming without waiting a single time. I had the pleasure of interacting with Orlando who was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely considering switching to Physiq.

The gym is kept so clean all the time! The workers are so nice and friendly. I see Orlando nightly and he is such a hard worker and is so welcoming to everyone that comes in and leaves. It’s so different from other gyms because usually people that work the front desk will sit on their phones and don’t even realize anyone that walks in, I haven’t experienced that one time being here! Orlando is so acknowledging and keeps an eye out on everything! I truly look forward to my workouts and time in the gym because the environment is so uplifting:) I think some spin bikes would be a great addition! Worst gym I have ever been apart of, and I didn't even sign up. They acquired my membership from the old Crunch that was at this address and did NOT notify me. I have been trying to cancel for a while now and no one responds to their requests on the website, nor does anyone answer the phone at any point of any day. I’ve been coming to this gym since before it became Physiq Fitness. I remember when it was Crunch Fitness. I’m very happy with the changes I’ve seen since it has become Physiq. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The updated equipment has been a long time coming. I would say that something I wish was added is a pendulum squat machine. I’d also like to give a shout out to Orlando Alvarado. Every time I walk in I can always count on a warm hello and even a good conversation with him. Overall, I’d say this is an incredible gym with an awesome community of people from many walks of life that are simply trying to better themselves one step and weight at a time.

I’ve been here since crunch, really liked the gym when it was crunch. Physiq is a huge upgrade and has very nice equipment. Would choose this gym over any other name brand gym 10/10 times out of 10 times. The staff is very welcoming , especially Orlando he greats me everyday and we chat it up all the time! The only thing I would say is missing would be a basketball court, but physiq has everything you could need .
