Hello, I want to share the bad experience I recently had with Pickup USA fitness, Chandler where my son was taking basketball lessons for about 3 years. I had paid for fee entire year and then Covid struck. Being indoor play place, we did not feel comfortable sending him, I had asked to keep my account on hold which they happily agreed to. We started him back after first wave of Covid subsided but discontinued again in couple of months as Covid cases started to rise in AZ. They agreed to hold account. During this time management changed and they removed hold from my account. Not only they wiped out previous account balances, they started charging to my account without my consent. I realized this after 6 months of payments when I asked them to refund or credit amount since we were not using facility yet. Manager ZACHARY AUGUSTE refused to do so and said that policy has changed attendance is not their problem. I am posting it here so parents are aware of unethical business practices. Stay away from this place. There is no customer service, all they care for is your money.

Called to cancel in 2020….was instead put on a “freeze” for 2 years, even though I was told it was canceled. Would not refund all charges that were billed 2 years later when membership started again even though I received no notification the “freeze” was over.

I pay for 3 memberships (my husband, and 2 of my kids) and went to watch my son's basketball practice with my mom who is visiting from out of town and wanted to see him play. I was told I couldn't go in and watch unless I had a membership myself. It's ridiculous that I can spend that much money per month and not even able to watch my own son. New ownership is terrible.

Please do not believe the fake good/5 star reviews on here look at the names and pictures. CLEARLY PURCHASED FAKE REVIEWS. This is a BASKETBALL facility, place has been going under last 2-3 months as me and many other former members have canceled and started going other places. Paolo and his staff are the worst, don’t waste your time go to a place called the lab! Way cheaper and better run, this place is a complete joke!

I rarely write reviews but I am so impressed with this business that I decided to share the love. I recently got into playing basketball and didn’t realize how hard it would be to find people to play with consistently. I joined a couple meet up groups but people are mostly flakes. At pick up usa I can play pretty much whenever I want, the facility is so clean, the gym equipment is top notch and staff is super friendly. Couldn’t be happier with my membership!!

From the awesome staff to the great facility, my family loves this gym! Pick Up USA has been so great for my husband and kids to be able to jump in and play a few games whenever they want. I love the gym facilities and its amazing to have an indoor place to play during the hot summers. We've seen this place definitely improve over the last 6 months.

This place is great! I was skeptical at first because of the previous reviews. But when I got there I was blow away by this place! Amazing facility, organized staff, and the equipment was top notch. Found out later that there is a brand new team in there and it shows! These guys you can tell love working here and love to assist their members and customers. I will definitely come back here when I am back in town! Just wish there was one of these in my neck of the woods!

I appreciate the clean and tidy facility, as well as the fact they are never over-capacity and I am always able to get right onto the equipment I desire.

PickUp USA is one of the cleanest, most organized, and family friendly gyms I’ve ever been to. Both my wife and I have had an awesome experience so far as we love basketball and have played in many gyms from the Midwest to the west coast. This is one of the only places where her and I have felt like we can actually get some quality playing time with other members who are equally passionate about basketball. I strongly encourage any and all basketball lovers to check out this gym because it is a way better experience than playing at 24, the park, or other gyms with basketball courts.

This is one of our favorite spots to work out when visiting Arizona. It's always clean and everyone takes safety seriously at the facility. Social distancing and sanitization are high priorities here yet the staff is always friendly.

PickUp USA got some new management and changed the whole game. I was a little hesitant to try it out, but I think it changed. The front desk guy was super nice (forgot his name), and he gave me a free day pass. They had a pick up game starting around when I got there, so I made sure to make a fool of myself and play a little. I'm clearly the worst one on the court, but I 100% found my spot! Members were nice. I also like how I can workout and then jump on the court for a little bit or the other way around. It's honestly a totally unique concept and seems like the new people running it got the gym back on track. Glad I tried it. I would totally recommend it!

I don’t usually write reviews, mainly because I haven’t done anything for the last year, lol. But I moved to AZ right before the pandemic and as we start to emerge post COVID I knew I needed to put my fitness first. I joined PickUp USA and I absolutely love it!! Everyone is friendly and welcoming and those interactions are much needed! It’s so clean and I love that as a mom who was sanitizing before it was “cool”. Finally the basketball is great! Way better than my old treadmill in the basement at home. :)

Don’t waste your money go just go signup for LA fitness. This place is a complete waste of money and time. Terrible model, poor franchise concept and this particular location is the worst of the 10 I’ve been too. This location won’t be open much longer if I’m guessing as it is poorly ran and the employees are going to be the reason. Corporate employee Paolo Ontalan was extremely unprofessional and I even saw him kick out a couple of African American kids for complaining about foul calls(I thought this was basketball) and made them cancel their membership for not agreeing with him. Pickup USA you need to get it in control and really reconsider the guys you put in “management” positions. Highly recommend you DO NOT go here or spend any money here.

This gym is a joke first they do not even have real flooring. They want parents to pay $30.00 to watch their kids practice or you can drop them off and hope that your children are in safe hands if something happen to your child because they do not have any procedure to make sure your child is safe and in good hands bet their response is going to be along the lines of you it’s not their responsibility to watch your kids. Can’t wait until the new gym opens because I will be taking my kids out and going to the other gym.

Since canceling our membership, we unknowingly were charged an additional 5 times, and they will just hope that you quit calling. Bouncing you from the manager, Jordan, to Grace in corporate. Since bringing it to their attention months ago, we still have not been credited back. BBB and credit card disputes are next, horrible customer service. Will NEVER use them again and encouraging every parent on my kids’ teams to do the same.

If you have a membership, cancel it. We had a membership with them and canceled it because we weren't putting it to use plis they are not using proper COVID safety precautions. Since we've canceled, they're charged us over $400. We haven't had a membership since December. If I could give 0 stars, I would. If I could shut this place down so other people wouldn't be screwed, I would do it immediately.

I wish I could give zero stars!
The new manager Derek is completely unprofessional and rude. I am currently in a dispute with them because they charged me for two months of membership dues when I cancelled in March 2020. He claims I didn’t because he didn’t have a form on file requesting cancellation but because of COVID I could not do so and I submitted my cancellation with the previous management.
If you can, go to a different gym. This place doesn’t care about you as a customer and only wants to steal from you.

Improve on your communication. I had a six oclock orientation appointment and when I get there they tell me the program I was signed up for was cancelled. This makes me more infuriated because they were texting me literally 45 minutes before my appointment saying that they we were still on and urged me to be there on time. GTFOH

I have been coming here for just about a year, and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! The best part about this gym is the amazing availability of their training sessions! They have sessions EVERY single day of the week for a low monthly fee. Amazing trainers, amazing friendly atmosphere that really keeps you motivated, and prices you can’t beat! Highly recommend!

My wife found the gym and started with the trainers. She had amazing results. Her sister started shortly after and experienced the same. Then my daughters started going and their results were also amazing. My son, the athlete, spent the summer working out with Micah and is stronger then ever. My fat butt finally quit my gym and joined in after seeing everyone else losing weight and gaining muscle. It has been about 2 months and I am the strongest and lightest I have been in 4 years. Wonderful team of trainers and a great facility. I highly recommend.

My wife reached out to PickUp USA Fitness about their 42 day challenge she saw on Facebook. After filling out the form online, she received communication from Jay. Her and Jay set up the date and time to meet. The time came and my wife went to the scheduled meeting time. Staff didn’t greet her until she had been standing at the counter in the lobby area for 10 min. My wife was then simply asked if she had an appointment. My wife said she did and the staff just handed her a form to fill out and never came back to check on her. After 25 min my wife left. A place that does business in this fashion...STAY AWAY!!!! Glad they wasted little time in showing how terrible bad at treating guests they are, now my wife can go find a quality fitness center.

I went there to play pickup b ball today. I arrived early, sign in on entrance and they told me to sit down and they will come for me when is time to play. After a while I went to check what’s going on and I was dead last on the list. This place is so disorganized, what did they think????
Also, the wall and the construction is right under the rim, it’s super easy to get injured.
Anyway guys, not worth of driving all the way there.
There are better place to play and better organized ones.

It's a great environment for me and my family. Boys get there time in an air conditioned basketball gym to hone in their skills and be around other kids who enjoy basketball and I get to workout at the gym.

I Have Been Coming to this Gym since almost the Very beginning of it Opening, I’ve always loved this place and have Brought this Company’s many customers from me talking it up, I currently am no longer a Member anymore because I Joined The United States Navy so when ever I get a chance to come back home on leave I’m always here, but i go in today and since I’m not a Member I had to pay 20$ to play a Little Much if I’d say so but I paid it because normally I’ve enjoyed this place. So I play my game we lose, that’s fine. I go sign back up and there is a 3 game wait, understandable considering how many people are there, so here I go they call me up for my Jersey and I go grab it. I Shoot around a little bit while the last game finishes. Then we are up to go and all of the Sudden there are 6 of us Red jerseys on the court, and my Name was 3rd in order of Signing up so I thought to myself I’ll be fine someone just probably accidently grabbed one. Then they come out and tell me after waiting 3 games I’ll have to wait a 4th game. So I go back check the sign on Board and my Name which was in the 3rd slot was erased and replaced with someone who had just got there maybe 15 minutes Prior and that made no sense at all to me. I believe the person was cool with whoever was writing the names down and figured “ we’ll just bump this guy back a game”. I’ve only been this angry a Couple times in my life and this definitely set me off, I’ve normally loved this place but today’s experience Completely turned me the other way and I don’t believe I’ll be coming back ever again especially when I get charged 20$ and was only able to play 1 game I was basically robbed of 20$.

Great place for all who love the game of basketball. The pick up games are great. Adding the 2 referees to normal pick up ball makes the game feel real. No arguing about score and fouls like at a normal gym. The shooting machine helps me get a tremendous amount of shots while practicing. It is a perfect tool for my busy schedule.

Fantastic basketball gym. My family loves going here for the ref'd pick up games and to boost their skills with the bootcamps. As a non basketball player I use the work out equipment while they get their basketball on. Facility is clean and well maintained. Staff is awesome! They are friendly and motivational. My son has loved basketball since a very young age so signing up at PickupUSA has been one of the best things we have done for him. He loves the pick up games on fridays to the one training. I love this place! My kids have gained incredible basketball skills, and I can work out while watching them play. The trainers are awesome and I love the skills classes. I'm not a baller but I'm getting in better shape every day. There's something for everyone. Professional refs and trainers, 10-minute pickup games, a workout room and a lounge to relax. It's a little basketball paradise. You get all of this plus the fact that the staff are second to none. Friendly, kind. and personable, they truly make you want to keep coming back.

Amazing concept. Cannot say enough about this place. I started my son here when he was 6 years old. At the time he just finished his second season playing in an I9 league. He was still learning how to play the game of basketball. After a couple months at PickUp USA I was shocked when he started his 3rd season. He was instantly one of the better players on his team. His dribbling, shooting, defense, and overall knowledge of the game sky rocketed. I will continue bringing my son in weekly as he continues to play in organized basketball. Thanks again

I have been a member of this gym since they first opened. In the beginning it was great and ever since they promoted this Philip Johnson dude this place hasn't been the same. They have gone thru so many new employees because previous have been fired for dumb reasons and his customer service is horrible for being a manager. As of today I will be cancelling my membership and will not recommend this gym to anyone as long as he is there!
