I have been attending training classes at Pinnacle Fitness for a few months now and feel very positive on the experience! Yesterday I brought an out of town guest with me and Jessi was great. My friend lives in Florida and even indicated Jessi challenged her in new ways which she is going home to discuss with her trainer. All trainers help with form and give modifications when needed. I have also trained with Lauren and Lorenzo. They too, are great making the class fun and effective. I especially appreciate the small class size. I highly recommend Pinnacle Fitness if you’re looking to get away from the big box type gym.

PinFit is a great gym and a great community. I've been a member for over 10 years and I love that the gym focuses on functional movement. I really enjoy the small group classes because there is a sense of camaraderie but the classes are small enough that you still get personalized attention regarding form. The balance class is also something that everyone can benefit from- I learned a lot about how to improve my daily activities from these classes. The trainers are fantastic- you won't find a better team anywhere!

Pinnacle Fitness is definitely the best experience I’ve had belonging to a gym.
I’ve been using a personal trainer since I started. His name is Mike. He has a background in physical therapy along with fitness and training. I cannot tell you how much that matters. No matter what he makes me do I have never hurt and somehow by osmosis he knows every little thing I should alter to make me feel better to not make me hurt and it never ceases to amaze me. I’ve had lots of personal trainers over the years and this gym by far is the best. I personally think Mike is a miracle worker.
If you’re over 50 there’s no other place but Pinnacle Fitness. Luke is the owner and a wonderful man himself. His main goal is not about the money. He’s more interested in taking care of all the people that come work out. I like to go early and they always accommodate whatever times I need.
They are just the kindest. Mike praises me all the time for doing the smallest little things, and it just gives me so much confidence. Everyone needs Mike for a trainer. All the other trainers are spectacular as well. They have amazing small group workouts, which are called semi private training. Each class targets, different things. They have classes for every stage of work out. I see 80 year olds on the floor doing unbelievable things.
Everyone is so friendly. They have workshops you can go to on weekends. There’s always something going on.
They have a masseuse onboard, his name is Ben and he does a phenomenal job.
Also, I need to give a shout out to Lauren. She is another trainer that I have taken classes with and she has personally trained me when Mike is out. Another amazing, awesome trainer. I believe she’s a girls basketball coach for a high school. All their classes are super fun & good workouts. They do any kind of full body assessment. It’s just an all-around perfect place. I’m so so grateful

I love the semi-private classes at Pinnacle Fitness! The class is small enough for the trainer to really watch that I’m doing the exercises correctly in order to avoid injury and to gain the best results! I just completed 6 months (personal training 1/2 hr./2 times per week) at Pinnacle Fitness and I am so happy with my progress. I had some challenging physical obstacles when I started and wasn't doing any exercise for a couple years prior. I was hesitant to start, but I am so thankful that I did! Alicia is so great. She addresses my weakness and helps me to get stronger! My balance, core, and strength have improved. I feel so much better, even when I first get out of bed!. I am so encouraged and have hope again. This place is the best! I've worked out many places over the years, but I've never been so happy and at home. My husband and I are so pleased to have found Pinnacle Fitness to keep us active. As “seniors”, we wanted a program to help us with flexibility, strength training and balance, as well as maintaining/losing weight. This is my second winter with Pinnacle fitness. Great people who are professional and skilled trainer's. The balance and strength and stretch classes are a great 30 minute class with Mike and Lauren. They always are checking in to make sure nothing hurts.

Joining Pinnacle Fitness was the best decision for my health and fitness journey! I have always been a walker and hiker, but I have never done any strength training. The older I get, the more I want to focus on total body fitness. I have been participating in the semi-private training classes twice a week for about 7 months now and I am much stronger (especially my core) and healthier including an improvement to my blood pressure and some weight loss. The entire training staff is extremely knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. I was a little shy and intimidated at first, especially since I had never done any strength training, but they are so friendly and welcoming that it didn’t take long for me to feel right at home. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Pinnacle Fitness family!!!

In the semi-private training sessions, the exercises can be modified for any fitness level. From my personal experience with an injury, they really excel at providing a modification or a replacement exercise whenever it's needed. And this is done on the spot in the training session.
In addition to doing the SPT, I completed several private training sessions to focus on personal, specific improvements. What a great experience this was working on and achieving every one of my goals. Thank you, Alicia!

By far… this is my favorite gym ever!
I found this place through my chiropractor. She recommended I speak with her husband, Luke, for a free fitness consultation. The initial consultation consisted of a review of my current physical state, my diet, my routines, and what my goals were. Luke was incredibly thorough and made me feel welcome and comfortable. He was wonderful walking me through my options and setting me up with a two-week starter plan.
My two private sessions were both with Mike. Mike is one of the best trainers I have ever encountered. It was clear he had reviewed my assessment thoroughly and came prepared with specific exercises adjusted to my assessment. He was very professional and was always checking on my comfort level with the movements and environment. He was sensitive to self-conscience invoking stretches and exercises, which I am so very grateful for!
Aside from the private sessions, I participate in semi-private training sessions almost every weekday. Pinnacle Fitness is staffed with the best of the best! I have been in training with everyone there except maybe two trainers. Jesi, Lorenzo, Lauren, and Alica have all been wonderful to work with. Each of the semi-private sessions consists of six or fewer participants, which allows the trainers to give attention to each person throughout. Once they get to know you, they immediately provide modifications based on your ailments or abilities.
I have endured several physical injuries/ailments and the staff’s attention to these has been exceptional. I never have to worry about not being able to perform a specific exercise because they ALL work with you and help you to accomplish some level of the intended muscle activation.
(In order of whom I have worked with the most)
Jesi is super fun, personable, and his knowledge of alternative exercises (or modifications) always impresses me. He makes the session enjoyable while also providing a successful workout session.
Lorenzo is kind, funny, and keeps the class on schedule with sets/rounds. I always know we will get through the full workout during his session.
Lauren always has a smile on her face and makes sure you feel super welcome. I always get a “good morning” or “great workout!” from her. She also has a great sense of humor!
Alicia incorporates yoga into her warmup, which I love, and has a great personality. She will give extra sets/rounds if we are ahead of schedule. Gotta love those!
All in all, I have never felt more comfortable in a gym and this place has it all. You will feel comfortable, safe, welcome, unjudged, and most importantly – physically GREAT! I feel like I have a second family here at Pinnacle Peak Fitness.

I'm an old gym rat and I needed sound advice on how to exercise at this stage of my life and following shoulder surgery. Mike has been the perfect personal trainer for my needs. I'm always amazed at the knowledge that he has regarding muscles that I'm using or not using and his ability to test them to be able to create a program to help me strengthen them. I'm also amazed at how he has been able to quickly read my personality and knows how to collaborate with me to ensure I'm making progress but I'm not putting myself into the injury mode. Having spent decades working out at the big box gym stores I was a bit apprehensive to go into a boutique gym. Pinnacle fitness has an extremely comfortable feeling to it. It has a personal atmosphere where everyone knows you by your name. I especially like that I don't have to listen to loud music during my work outs. I am beyond thrilled to discover Pinnacle Fitness! The owner & staff are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Friendly, caring knowledgeable and I love every training session I have. I have had chronic back problems that take me down for weeks. When it happened recently, the owners & my personal trainer (Jesi) worked together to come up with a plan to get me back to my normal self and it worked! PF is a great place for 50 and above. I've belonged to alot of exercise institutions and this one is above and beyond anything I"ve ever experienced. I'm a new member to this gym and so far my experience has been amazing! From the first time I walked in, the staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The initial package gave me the opportunity to try out the group fitness classes and also the individual work-out sessions to make a decision if the gym was a good fit for me. From that day forward the entire team has welcomed me every time I am there, they know my name along with every member of that gym, that is something I recognized right away! The workouts are designed to keep you healthy, strong and appropriate for anyone over age 50. I feel that the coaching and quality of the work-outs is top notch! Great workouts. Even better workouts when you stay consistent. Offer more than just small class training; they offer cooking lessons, balance lessons, self defense, group outings outside of the gym! Excellent at modifying to what each individual needs while making you still feel part of the group. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It is a supportive community where staff and fellow gym-goers are incredibly friendly and encouraging. The semi-private sessions are fantastic and truthfully although all the trainers are great, I have had the pleasure of attending Jesi’s semi-private training sessions for the most part. He creates a fun and energetic atmosphere that keeps you engaged and motivated throughout the session. But aside from that what I most appreciate about Jesi is his ability to be very aware of everyone’s needs and abilities and to make sure that we are doing the exercises correctly. Personally he has taken the time to understand and tailor exercises to my level of fitness and limitations and I very appreciate and look forward to going to workout as much as possible.
I have worked out for many, many years with different trainers and I can say that Jesi stands out among the best I have had.
Pinnacle Peak is also flexible and accommodating when it comes to scheduling, which made it easy for me to fit workouts into my busy schedule.

Like many working adults, as I entered my late 40's... I gradually shifted my focus to career, kid activities and family. This resulted in my developing a very unhealthy, sedentary lifestyle of sitting at the desk and working at the computer for endless hours a day. I truly lost perspective on what it means to live a balanced healthy lifestyle. After a lot of introspection, I realized that I need to bring physical fitness back into my life and make health a priority.
This is where Pinnacle Fitness enters the picture: I am truly not a gym person and have a lot of adversity to the typical gym scene; it's simply not an environment that I enjoy and thrive in. After doing copious amounts of research, I found Pinnacle Fitness and was really thrilled by their unique business model and approach to fitness. All classes are small group fitness, meaning they are instructor led with a maximum of 6 participants per class. The instructors are top notch (more on that below) and provide you with individualized attention as you perform each exercise, to ensure proper stance, motion etc. Classes are 50 minutes and incorporate a wide range of exercises from cardio, stretches, weight lifting, exercise bands etc. It's really what I consider the perfect blend of exercise under the close supervision of highly qualified trainers.
Now, on the topic of the trainers: I have had the pleasure of having Lorenzo as my coach for the past few months and have only glowing positive feedback on him. He is very personable, attentive and provides continuous feedback as you do each exercise. If you are struggling with a particular exercise or he observes your form is not optimal, he helps you make adjustments \ modifications to the exercise. I am honestly thrilled to be working with him and consider myself to be very fortunate to have him as my coach.
In summary: Pinnacle Fitness is at the pinnacle of the fitness industry. Luke (the owner), Lorenzo and all the team make this a great experience. I offer my highest commendations to Pinnacle Fitness! I sincerely cannot say enough positive things about Pinnacle Fitness and their unique approach to small class training. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or a beginner like me, this studio is a fantastic location to continue your journey

My wife and I (both 70+) have been working with Alicia at Pinnacle Fitness twice a week beginning in early 2019. Our goal is to remain as active as possible for as long as possible. With Alicia’s well-designed workout routines, encouragement, and adaption to our changing needs we have more than exceeded our goals. I began working out with Jesi several months ago at the recommendation of my PCP. Several years ago I suffered a serious knee injury while working out with a personal trainer. Since that time, I was very reluctant to work out with a personal trainer again. I was seven years older and worried about my overall safety during training. Yet, I knew that my physical well being was suffering as a result of not doing strength training. I had constant lower back pain, I had gained weight, lost flexibility and my balance was declining. I expressed these concerns to Luke upon my initial meeting. They were taken very seriously. I began working out with Jesi with many reservations based upon my previous experience. I could tell PinFIt was different from the get go., They were very attuned to my every movement, made corrections when necessary and most importantly, they considered my age and ability level, never jeopardizing my physical well being. Four months later, my back pain is gone, my flexibility has improved and I’m stronger than I’ve been in a long time. As a former athlete, the improvement in my physical well being has also positively impacted my mental well being. I am finishing my first month at Pinnacle Fitness and I cannot put in words how happy I am to have chosen to join here. I worked out with a private trainer for 15 years when I lived in Chicago, and never felt that I could get that good of a workout again. Moved here full time 2 years ago and ended up needing some back surgery. As soon as I completed physical therapy, I used the trainer at my physical therapist, but they closed that part of their business. I looked at many different options for trainers and tried out Pinnacle Fitness. Luckily, I found what I enjoyed so much in Chicago. A dedicated staff, focused on form and the individual. I have done both private training sessions and group sessions and will continue with a combination of both. After only 3 weeks everyone knows who I am, I am greeted warmly, making me feel good when I get there. The group training sessions are challenging and set up so that people with various levels of fitness can participate and not feel that they are either above or below their ability level. The private sessions are well thought out, with a strong focus on stretching and form, which make the sessions challenging. I have already worked with Luke, Alicia, Jesi and Nathan and find each to be great trainers. I have a session with Lorenzo next week, and from watching him train others, I am sure he will be just as good . I know that there are tons of trainers available, as I spent quite some time looking, but I think that Pinnacle Fitness is the best. Very happy with my decision to join.

After doing the two week trial, including personal training, fitness assessment, and small group training, I signed up for a six month package. I’ve been going to small group classes three times a week and am getting stronger and losing body fat. Love the small group classes! The trainers are friendly, and they make sure everyone is using the right form and is challenged enough. Workouts mix it up with kettlebells, dumbbells, TRX, resistance bands and more. I’ve been a member of Pinnacle Fitness for about 3 months now. After switching to a full-time “work from home” job during the pandemic, both my physical and mental health was suffering. I was referred to Luke and his team over at Pinnacle Fitness from family members. I’ve always been intimidated to join a gym, and was eager to try their 14 day trial just to see the gym and get a feel for what it was like. Right off the bat, Luke was incredible. He really wanted to get a clear idea of what I’ve been struggling with, what I would like to accomplish, and how decided together how he, his team, and I could work on together. After meeting the whole crew and spending 2 days a week with them, I decided to sign up for their 6 month program and I’ve never looked back. I’ve worked with several of their trainers in both 1:1 and sem-private classes. I’ve always felt like I was getting customized coaching (even in semi-private group training).

Luke and his team at Pinnacle Fittness have created a great place for the more "seasoned" athlete to come get in shape, or stay in shape. Luke has a tremendous background in sports and physiology, and he applies that knowledge to each new clien when he does his initial evaluation. (The evalustion is actually so thorough that it takes place over several sessions.) The program is designed around what the client needs, not what the gym wants to offer. Okay, so I HATE HATE HATE gyms because most gyms are full of testosterone dripping, macho, weight lifting, grunting, look-at-my-great-body guys. Not for me. But I was told I needed to work on my core (thanks, doc), so I gave Pinnacle Fitness a try. It is so nice to be in a place where there is no judging and only helpful folks. Now, I haven't gotten to the point where I can say I LOVE LOVE LOVE gyms, but I've been going almost every day and that says a whole lot! Bottom line, Pinnacle will continue to be my go to fitness destination and, maybe, just maybe, one day I will be able to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE gyms.
Give Pinnacle a try. Maybe you'll find the old gal who is working on her core and learning to love it . . .

9/2022 update--
The facility is getting more wow-factor with every year. When I started here, I had a horrible shoulder issue. They know how to rehab, and it is so much better now - range of motion, function, and almost no pain. Luke the owner truly cares about his business, the staff, & the clients. He pursues education & best practices from mentors in the industry, which I respect. He consistently expands the team's knowledge of functional movement, strength, general wellness & rebuilding various physical issues. His newsletters are truly helpful & educational too!
When a business owner is excited about their business, it shows in the quality of every aspect.

Pinnacle fitness is absolutely above a 5 star quality! We have been going here for several months and the trainers are so caring and push you to the limits while also caring about form and preventing injury! I have attended a lot of gyms and having trainers that care more about the person than the PRS Is absolutely wonderful! I’m seeing changes in agility and my waistline and beyond happy! I have worked out at lots of gyms over the years, Pinnacle Fitness is by far the best! They specialize in 50+ clients, but at 41, I feel just as welcome and cared for as any of their other clients. Their fitness evaluation is extremely thorough and their small group classes are fantastic. I've also done a couple of private sessions with Alicia and she is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and really entertaining so it didn't even feel like I was working out. I would HIGHLY recommend this gym!

I have had the best experience at Pinnacle Fitness then I've ever had at a Gym. I had back surgery in 2004, and I've done the major Gyms and have paid to get a personal trainer, but they never listened to me about the back injury and would repeat physical training always focused on the back, even though I would tell them it hurt. Their response was just to push through it. It was a struggle to, but eventually I'd get hurting so bad and felt defeated, I just would never go back. And lost money.
This was not the case at Pinnacle Fitness. I met the owner through a meeting I was at, and I explained my problem. Luke, (The Owner) told me him and his crew work with people like me all the time. Injury's, health problems and the sort. So I did his 2 day trial, which was two, 60 min training seasons with Jesse, a personal trainer there. Luke had explained to Jesse my concerns and Jesse was absolutely professional and in tuned with my back issues. Jesse had a work out plan that would help strengthen my muscles around my weak back muscles and give the weak muscles time to get stronger. I never hurt once during either session, and Jesse was always checking to see if any of his routine would hurt me. Caring and on point with his plan for me.
I believe that if you have had something similar to my situation, Luke and his team of Personal Trainers are where you really want to go. I will continue to use Luke and train with Jesse.

I have had a wonderful & beneficial experience with everyone at Pinnacle Fitness! I have been "alergic" to exercise since my mid twenties. We'll now, approaching 70 in a few months, I feel more invigorated then I have in years. The benefit hasn't been limited to just the physical aspect, but my mental health has greatly improved as well.

A few months ago I started at Pinnacle fitness after hearing some great things. I was skeptical because I haven’t had the best experience with gyms in the past. Luke and his staff have been amazing, personable, and have motivated me to reach my health and fitness goals. They have helped by tailoring the workouts to fit my needs and by giving me modified exercises (to accommodate past injuries), helped me with my form, and made me feel like I can do it! After the first two months of working out, I could see a vast improvement in my strength and workouts. I can't speak highly enough of these guys/this place. Get to Pinnacle… you won't regret it!

My husband and I have been clients here for years. The trainers are all very knowledgeable and friendly. We have seen great results! I even worked out here through my pregnancy and afterwards and our trainer has helped me get back in shape post baby. Love this gym!!
