Ehh. My regular location is Goodyear but i stopped here since i was close by. Not a fan. All the females that work here just sit around on their phones or staring at ppl as they work out. Not very professional. I came around 3 and had to wait for machines but it wasn’t even packed. The massage chairs are noisy and need to be updated. The bathrooms needed some cleaning, paper towels for sanitizing needed to be refilled The girl in the front was very aggressive when i asked her a simple question….. i guess just not my cup of tea sorry Avondale! I love my home gym in Goodyear!

Just trying to figure out why $50 automatically came out of my account when one, I just signed up July 1st. Two, I signed up on my employer discount. Dear Planet Fitness Management,
I am writing to share a concerning and disappointing experience I had at your Avondale location. During my visit, I was shocked by the lack of cleanliness in the gym, which was a major issue that I felt needed to be addressed. After making an attempt to raise my concerns with the manager, Veronica, I was completely ignored. Rather than listening or acknowledging the issue, she dismissed me and even scoffed at my attempt to address it.
To make matters worse, I overheard Veronica gossiping about gym members with two other female employees, speaking in a manner that was both unprofessional and distasteful. This is not the first time I’ve witnessed her engaging in such behavior. It’s disheartening to know that someone in a managerial position would behave in such a way, especially in a "Judgement Free Zone."
The gossip wasn’t limited to fellow gym members; I’ve also heard Veronica speak poorly about other employees behind their backs, only to turn around and act overly friendly when speaking to them. This kind of two-faced behavior is not only unprofessional but also reflects poorly on the entire brand.
As a member, I expect more from a place that prides itself on providing a positive, welcoming environment. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uncomfortable and disillusioned. If Veronica continues to serve in a leadership capacity, I fear that future hires and members will face similar disappointments.
I sincerely hope you address this issue with the appropriate urgency, as employees like Veronica set a negative tone for your gym and its reputation.

This Planet Fitness absolutely has stinks. You work out and then want to shower. One shower stall floods and doesn’t drain, the second stall has a faulty shower head and very little water comes out. Then i go to take a shit and there is NO PAPER to wipe your ass. Neither toilet had paper. REALLY…..I have to bring my own paper. Amazing faculty. Maybe someone needs to contact Planet Fitness corporate and advise them of the situation

This is the worst planet fitness I’ve ever been to, from the lay out to the workers. Lay out just doesn’t make sense, it’s self explanatory once you try to hit the free weights n you’re only about a 2 inches away from the next bench. Bathrooms are bigger than the free weights + smith machine area combined. Workers are rude, went to this location for about a month before I finally got acknowledgment.. I mean?? I get it, it’s early in the morning but the bare minimum of the job is to scan people in n they couldn’t even do that. Not a good location.

After traveling the country and visiting many PF locations, this is the worst one. The layout is open with 30 minute workout machines just plopped in the middle of all the equipment. Music is terrible. Lighting is too bright. Not busy because it has a rotten vibe. Teenage boys on weights just giggling and goofing around throwing stuff at each other making it awkward. Zero stars.

The teenagers/kids that come in like to mess around with the equipment. I feel like I'm babysitting half the time. It's crazy how no employees say anything to them, they're always goofing off in the ab area, not working out. It's a judgment free zone. But these kids be judging us all lol. I like this place, just wish the out of order equipment could be fixed faster since there's not many open options. Also, the massage chairs are usually always down, as well as multiple machines. Why are there no toilet seat covers too, in the bathroom? 😅

It is a great gym to start you're fitness journey if you are shy and don't want to be Ina crowded gym waiting on machines. Not that many options to use but the hydromassages are amazing and worth is everything. Was easy to cancel the membership with the help of James (jackson) even though Rodney lied to me saying the system was down after I drove to place in person and people was checking in. 1405hours, this date I was thinking about starting up at this gym from EOS and the gym manager WESLEY stated no one day passes, even clearly that's what stated on all LOCATION WEBSITES. Waiting a call back from corporate, all because some high-school promotion AND THE GYM WAS EMPTY. REASON people are leaving EOS gyms as well to many KIDS!!! 😡

The only reason to come to this wretched place is to use their Total Body Enhancement machine, and they can’t even keep up with the maintenance. I come here one day, and their deft front desk person tells me so nonchalantly the machine isn’t working. I definitely like this GYM 🏋️‍♀️ 💪🏾, got my subscription today and let me tell you, I enjoyed every second of the hour and a half of my workout, 30 minutes of cardio and an hour of weight lifting, lots of machines to workout in a friendly environment, not overcrowded at all, very clean, you have to clean after yourself, lots of cleaning stations 👍, I'll try to be there everyday from now on.

While the experience was ok while I used the membership (except for free high-school students during summer break) canceling was a diferent story. I went to cancel and they told me it was done and I would get an email. I finally got the email however it says they will be charging another month and I can still use the gym for another month.. they did not tell me they were going to do that, so I went back and a different person said I had to cancel prior to the 9th of the month. I'm upset they didn't tell me about that from the beginning.. this is a shady practice to get more money... they should have been upfront about this..

Edit: management reached out to me the very next day and are working on a refund .. (once that goes thru I'll update to better rating, I was impresses they reached out right away)
