I would recommend this particular gym specifically this location to everybody that I know. I just had a situation with the gym that unfortunately escalated to speaking to corporate. But at the end of the day the manager at this Planet Fitness off of Ray Road and the freeway was the only one that helped he was very kind very courteous professional respectful and is very appreciated. I wanted to give a shout out to Wade. He was super helpful at getting us signed up and showing us around the gym. All of the staff were really friendly and the gym had a good vibe. Everything looked clean and the equipment has an electronic counter that shows your reps and how long you have been doing your set for (it also counts the time between sets if you keep sitting there). I was super impressed with everything you get for the price!

My wife was getting charged a late fee every single month, we noticed it on our bank statements. She went in to get it figured out, they told her that there was only a secondary payment in her app , and that’s why she was always getting a late charge fee every single month . She called the main corporate number and was informed the location is the one that deals directly with these billing issues. Carmelo is the manager and was not available . Jessica kept insisting that it was all on her app, and we should have noticed it. Regardless planet fitness was still getting paid their initial 10 dollars for the monthly fee plus a late fee this whole time. Completely unethical business. I am beyond frustrated they would do this to their customers.

Great Gym, Highly Recommend!

I absolutely love this gym! The location is very convenient, and the two-story setup ensures that everyone has plenty of space to work out without disturbing each other. I think this gym is one of the best in the network when it comes to these aspects.

The staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to help. The locker room has a pleasant smell, which adds to the overall positive atmosphere. There’s no unnecessary clutter or trash, everything is neat and well-maintained.

The equipment is in excellent condition, and there are enough machines for everyone who comes to the gym. I never have to wait for a machine, which makes the whole experience more enjoyable.

All in all, I’m really impressed with this gym. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch place to work out. You won’t be disappointed!

There is a lot I like about planet fitness, the confusion and hassle at every location with any of the massage chairs etc is a big negative, gets old having to walk back to the desk because someone is using the machine you were assigned or to get ten more minutes, and I am almost always there at 2am so should be easy to book for longer, it is often such a hassle I just don't use them

The front desk staff is always super friendly, smiling and helpful. The gym is always super clean, you can always see someone cleaning and always smell how clean it is. The locker room is always tidy, clean and freshly mopped. The equipment is always clean, in working order and available. The overall gym is very nice, actually the best gym I've been to. I have tried most of the gyms in the easy valley...big and small...and Planet Fitness is by far the best. I love the environment and how easily I can work out. The hours are great and even though it's not 24/7 on the weekends, I can still workout in the evenings. I mostly workout during the day and it's never too busy for me to do what I want. I love the Black Card Member perks. The massage equipment is great. And the calming music is an awesome bonus. I have even tried other Planet Fitness locations near by and they are all great. There is just something different about this gym. It seems less judgmental, people are accepted as they are and it's not a meat market or fashion show.

Do not waste your money. This location has gone downhill. The manger Wade is condescending and rude. The facility is filthy and don’t bother upgrading to the black card…..the tanning beds and massage beds never get cleaned. They will charge the yearly fee without any notification and I was lied to by the manager Wade on how to cancel my membership and he refused to provide me a copy of my contract . DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION!

My iPhone was stolen during a workout and when I called the police since the officer showed up, while we reported and tracked with FIND MY IPHONE APP, the security guy called my phone alerting the thief-thief turned off. 95% of everyone is friendly and helpful! They are flexible and accommodating. They look for answers if they don’t know something. No excuses! It’s always clean. It feels safe. Always people staffed at the front desk to help. It almost always has enough supplies (sometimes TP and soap is out). Parking early in the morning is good. Beautiful location, stunning workout area however my wife and I had a very unpleasant encounter this afternoon with another PF member intentionally vandalizing our car at this location; while we were in it.
In front of the building.
and during business hours,
then drove away before we could exchange insurance information.

The other party called the PF front desk to tell them what happened after leaving the location, per the PF Manager, I don't care about the car stuff as that's why we have insurance. I am disappointed in the "guilty" treatment we received from some of the staff members while trying to do the right thing in this situation.
I don't know if it is due to us just passing through and the other member is known at this location or what but soo not cool guys!

It doesn't have a pool or basket ball courts like few other gyms but that's not it's selling point. PF shines in its own way which I love so far:

Being a large guy, I've had a great experience so far. Both staff and members don't judge you. The members are surprisingly friendly and actually clean up after themselves. The 24/7 hours are a big plus as well since i have social anxiety.

I recently returned back to Planet Fitness since the pause because of the pandemic. i was pleasantly surprised to see the upgraded equipment and a stronger emphasis on the sanitary environment for all participants to join staff in creating a sanitary and safe environment for everyone.

There is better spacing of equipment and a hands-free check-in with the App for the facility and other aids to assist the customers to maximize our experience at Planet Fitness. Pricing and value are in proper alignment with my experience at this facility.

I am a very satisfied customer who is looking to continue my personal journey for better health and fitness for this year and beyond.

Leaving this as four stars for visibility. Several vanlifers that work in and around Chandler use PF as a safe haven and have always parked in the lot next to PF that is empty. Signs went up last night saying no parking for more than 2 hours. They do not make messes, do not trash the place, no harm has come to that empty lot. Unbelievable.

For someone living nearby the gym, it's extremely convenient. But some of the tools can be limited during peak times at 5.30am it can be better if it's repaired but some were still under repair even after 2 weeks. This week, hot water wasn't available but because it's summer, the cooler water was manageable for those who shower at this gym.
To use the treadmill on the first floor is not recommended as the sun rises as you are going to face the sunlight even with window shades pulled down.

This Planet Fitness is an easy access location and has everything I need including Hammer Strength core machines—almost always in working condition. Floor mat and restroom areas could be cleaner.
