This looks like a high-end gym. Was told it was three- years old, did not look it. Everything looked new. My own quibble is that as the sun was rising, the sunlight was right in my eyes while I was on the stationary bike. I wish I lived closer so I could make this my main gym

I absolutely love this Planet Fitness! The facility is top-notch with plenty of parking, tons of equipment, and an overall welcoming atmosphere. The staff here is by far the best I’ve ever encountered at any gym—super friendly, helpful, and always going above and beyond. The cleanliness is unmatched. I constantly see the team lifting and moving machines to clean under and around them, and the space is always spotless. Cleaning stations are always fully stocked, and the bathrooms and Black Card areas are consistently neat and tidy.

This is hands down the best Planet Fitness I’ve been to—and I’ve visited several across the country. The environment here is just different in the best way possible. Cole, the manager, deserves a special shout-out—he’s incredibly warm, welcoming, and always greets you with a smile. Ethan is another standout; both of them truly make this location feel like a community. Planet Fitness did an amazing job hiring them, and I hope they continue to bring on more people like these two.

On top of all that, the gym offers a wide variety of equipment, and the TV monitors connect to your phone via Bluetooth so you can listen while you work out—such a nice touch.

All around, this is an outstanding gym. Clean, friendly, and well-run. Without a doubt, my favorite Planet Fitness!

Had my bag with valuables in a locked locker, the lock was cut and my belongings were stolen. They sold the guy a day pass and he didn’t give a name so nobody was ever caught. Management did virtually nothing for something thats on their fault! had to get my car keys recut & lost 100$ worth of stuff. This location sucks.

Built in a repurposed office building, this Planet Fitness location is very cute. Its extra tall ceilings promote an airy open environment. The gym only takes up the bottom floor. They still have an exclusice 30 min workout room. The womens locker has several changing rooms with privacy curtains. The deep tissue massage chairs are at the end of a hall with the hydro tables in a seperate room which makes for a nice quiet relaxing moment. Best of all, they have a Digital Clock.

It isn’t the services, per say, but it’s more the staff at the New Gilbert facility. Everyone is joyful and smiles when greeting members. Tony, the trainer, I feel helps set a wonderful tone with the younger staff. However, I think most of them are happy & joyful anyway. It’s a joy for me to witness this. As for the facility, it’s all that I need and then some. Who doesn’t like new equipment, but it’s also maintained and kept clean. This is the first PF I’ve ever been in let alone joined. Super disappointed with the staff at this location. Cancelled my membership after manager Lauryn berated me for seeking to understand my membership billing- which I’d assume is part of her job. I’ve been charged late fees for the last two months for an invalid bank account, despite having a valid backup payment and my account on autopay. I’ve been a member since December 30, and since then have been charged $150. You would think seeking to understand this would be acceptable, but in her eyes apparently not. I have been a Planet Fitness member on and off for a long time, and never have encountered an employee who speaks to their members this way. I plan to address these concerns with their customer service, but definitely recommend you beware if you want an environment that feels welcoming and inviting. This is absolutely not it.

The Gilbert Road location is where I am a member. The employees are always kind, saying their hello’s and goodbye’s. Lauryn always goes above and beyond in every aspect. It’s visually apparent when she is on shift. I see Lauryn setting excellent examples of strong and kind leadership, including extensive cleaning, monitoring supplies, and checking into the maintenance of equipment. She is an essential component of how this club is run.

We were members of LA Fitness for 25 years and finally got tired of the dirty, smelly club with old machines that, when they broke, were broken for weeks or months. This Planet Fitness is super clean, has new machines (all in working order), has other members who care about the cleanliness of the club and has a great staff (Lauren the Manager is great and Cole is super nice too). I am wondering why we waited so long to switch gyms, but glad we finally did.

We go to the Gilbert downtown club, which is like new with new equipment. It is adjacent to the Civic Center with a well-lit parking lot and safe feeling. The staff is awesome - especially Juan - but all very friendly, professional, helpful and take pride in their work. They keep busy wiping down equipment and Black card booths, beds and chairs in addition to greeting and checking in guests and answering phones. We rarely have to wait for machines and the number of TV's and variety and balance of programming is super. We are Black Card members - I do the tanning and/or Red Light Therapy bed while my husband does the Hydromassage. We think the $24.95 is worth it, and $10 for a standard membership is a steal!

The music here is always SO loud that it is nearly impossible to listen to your own music or audiobooks with noise canceling headphones without hearing the gym music. The machines are horribly placed so the morning sun is blinding from almost any location within the gym. They should close blinds in the morning so customers can exercise without being blinded in the morning.

The Planet fitness TV app is constantly not working. it has been down for one week already. Suggestion, Can the manager change the settings on the TVs to have close captioning. Also I was told that blinds were being installed the windows. but is hard to see the TVs in the morning when on the treadmills after the sun comes up.

Very clean facility, typical gym music, but the place is well kept and the machines are always maintained and I have not seen one out of order. Very limited selection of free weights which is why I only gave four stars. Everything else has all you can expect from a gym, especially for their monthly rate. They are definitely cheaper than the competition that is just up the road by more than half. The competition is a bit nicer with more options, but not more than twice has nice to justify the cost. This gym is trying to be one of the nicer gyms but it’s not quite as nice as Alma school PF and other PFS with similar structure. it seems like just from the reviews there has never been potential for use of the second floor, it’s just there for decoration. The changing rooms are set up separate from the showers, which is one of my least favorite PF layouts. The water coming out of sinks has a shower like aerator instead of a steady stream, so water sprays everywhere if you want to wash your hands. At least there are soap holders in the shower, but the showers are tiny and close together (uncomfortable). They prioritized so much space for a second floor they don’t use to make the tiniest locker rooms/bathrooms. It’s unreasonable. The outside looking in and for the first 15 sec glance this PF looks nice, but that’s a facade covering the truth. I’ve been to over 50 planet fitness’ in over 10 states the past three years as I travel, so this review comes with excessive experience. The Alma school planet fitness is by far the best in the area.

Definitely one of the nicer PF facilities I have been to in my years of moving around the valley. It's a spacious stand alone building with what appears to be newer equipment. The faculty are always smiling and welcoming and I've never had a problem with my fellow gym goers. The only reason I docked a star is because this facility really doesn't give you any floor space to do core without laying your mat directly out in a high traffic area. Both areas labeled core and abs have basically zero floor space so you're very limited to where you can go. I'm also a bit salty because they are the only PF I've ever seen with 2 FLOORS but they refuse to allocate space upstairs. So it just sits empty mocking you as you squeeze your mat next to the fire exit. I really wish they would expand some spots upstairs because it's an awesome place.

I recently transferred my membership from a gym in Oregon to this gym. The staff was friendly but was told there isn't much room for stretching right off the bat which was weird. I soon realized that not all Planet Fitness gyms are created equal. Maybe I was just spoiled in Oregon but you have to bring your own lock, clean your own tanning bed, no Black Card mobile app or reserving your own spa amenities. You use coins to use the massage chairs and they don't recline or have arm massager. The locker room was big but with only one hand dryer, paper towels were out all around the gym including the bathroom. It's weird to me that I pay the same amount with less amenities.

Do yourself a favor and go to ANY other PF location! This has to be about the worst planet fitness I've ever been to especially being that it's brand new! I don't think I will ever return. The management AND the vision (or idiots who were in charge of its layout) for this place has completely failed not sure what happened here but I would suggest going to another location if you need any room or Better equipment. They have chosen some of the worst organized ergonomics for their equipment and no stretch area and do not use the space they have well and haven't taken steps to place equipment on the second floor, entirely missed the mark for the use of this clubs plan design. Also the tanning booths are wildly uncomfortable and have no neck rest for ergonomics with a flat bottom leaving you feeling worse than when you walked in to this disaster.

The temperature is too high. It’s difficult to breathe, each time I go it is too hot. The staff have jackets on with long sleeves, they aren’t working out. After voicing concerns the temperature is still all over the map, the wifi doesn’t work with the tv’s. They don’t offer members any perks for the issues. It’s been over. Month and still no wifi. Sad it’s a new building and close to home.
