This has to be one of the worst planet fitness I’ve been to the workers don’t even look up to greet you when you walk in. They blare the music so loud you can’t head your own I don’t want to have to blow my ear drums out just to enjoy my own music while I workout it’s unfortunate because it’s a great location but they really need to get it together..

So I was excited to start my gym experience here at Planet Fitness on 43rd Ave and Indian School. It seems the employees behind the counter cannot leave from behind the counter? Even after I said hey it’s my first time to this gym no one offered to show me around. I asked questions of where things were at and she pointed in the direction it was in. Bathrooms are out of ass gaskets. Other dude at the front counter sent me to a massage chair someone was already in. I didn’t know how to turn on the massage beds as no one explained to me to push the button on the wall that starts it. They just stand behind the counter and chit chats amongst themselves. Almost like I’m bothering them! I thought you worked here to help people with their gym needs??

One person to call out for a great job is Allan, he’s the trainer there. He has helped me everytime I’ve had a question and even just listened to my concerns and apologized for the bad experience . Thank you Allan!!

The other facilities that I have visited also didn’t come out from behind the counter to assist just conversed among themselves. Very disappointing as I started this journey with high hopes. Looks like I might need to find a new gym to go to…..

Despite living 20 minutes away, my commitment to this gym is unwavering, primarily due to the outstanding customer service provided by staff members such as April, Tezz, and another young man with brown short hair and a full beard. Their daily greetings and genuine inquiries about my well-being, as well as my two teenage daughters.tezz has had many conversations with us about how important fitness and health is and i appreciate the tips in our routine very much. I was inspired to enroll my daughters in the gym after the experience i have had with planet fitness on 51st ave and glendale. As i am a memeber myself because of april.i was 97lbs when april inroduced me to planet fitness .i was very unhealthy and sick... PLANET FITNESS SAVED MY LIFE...AND APRIL HELPED ME FIND IT!now i have tezz helping me with training and built me a daily training plan for myself and my sister...—truly the best decision I made!

Tezz’s thoughtful training plan and life goals discussion, coupled with the consistent cleanliness and great atmosphere of the gym ,april, tezz and beard guy (lol sorry.)))make this a welcoming space. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience as a heads-up. Unfortunately, asking an employee for assistance here feels more like an inconvenience to them than a part of their job. I was met with unprofessional behavior, including comments made loud enough for me to hear, which was really disappointing—especially at a gym that promotes being a “judgment-free zone.”

This gym is the start of my day, and it sets the tone for everything that follows. As a paying member, I should be able to use the amenities without feeling like a burden. If the staff doesn’t enjoy their job, that’s understandable, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of making members feel unwelcome. A little professionalism and kindness go a long way.

The personnel at this location simply don't care about anything. Feels like they hate their job. None of them are happy and make you feel like you are bothering them if you ask for anything.

The only downside is that they currently do not have a fitness trainer at the Glendale location. This is a staffing issue and maybe coming up with new community servicing ideas. Thank you! I parked my bike out in front of the gym and locked it. You could see my bike through the big front window. The shade was open.I would check on it to make sure it was safe. After working out on the stationary bike I went to check on my bike and the shade to the big front window was down and I could not see my bike. I grabbed my stuff and went out side to find my bike stolen. This place is not safe and they don’t care about your stuff. Read the contract.

I am posting this for my nephew. He is a Black card member. I went as a guest @ beginning of summer. I was pleased w/the experience. I had debated joining myself. Now however I don't think I will. The overall price is reasonable. The available hours of operation suck. They used to have 24 hour access on weekdays only (which is odd to me not weekends) . Now out of the blue they posted a notice they close everyday @ 9pm. Which will not work for him as his schedule changes daily. Wouldn't work for myself either since I work graveyard shift so that is the time frame I prefer on my days off. It's disappointing.
