Just found out the employees at this Planet Fitness has been charging energy drinks to my account. There is a way they can use your CC on file to make purchases in-store for themselves. There is an automatic email receipt but there is a way to disable it I guess . They forgot to do that this morning. I got a receipt for something I didn’t purchase. Their explanation “huh…that’s not supposed to happen” . Did some digging and its happened 5 times since May. Its not the money (its not a lot) its the fact that employees can access my CC and use it whenever. There is a trust that is extended to business when it comes to automatic payments for things like membership. We are customers is what it comes down to. This fraud and i would guess by the complacency this is happening to other members. Watch out !

I overheard the bigger woman at the front desk talking shit about a guest who was exercising, to another guest . This made me feel very uncomfortable, and as a result, I will be canceling my membership.

I have been going to my club location for 2 years now. The women's bathroom is never clean. The paper towel dispenser is either always broken or empty. Toilet seats are gross. They always have a full staff at the counter and most of them or either on their cell phones or just hanging out. The bottles for sanitation stations are empty or just water and paper towel dispensers are empty. The trash was full yesterday when I went to work out and don't get me started on how filthy the actual machines are. When a machine is broken it is down for over a month. I have been a black card member since I started and pay full price since. They only offer special pricing and discounts for people under the membership and get free months and here I am paying full price. My wallet was stolen in this gym. Someone who's actual membership was terminated because of non-payment but claimed to need to use the restroom. And was let inside the locker room. She cut my lock and stole my wallet. The management and staff definitely needs more structure on the surroundings of the facility and to pay attention to the sanitation parts of the gym in the locker rooms and machines.

Can we say wow this club has really gone down hill ever since the new manager Christian took over thing are very bad the manager is not very friendly to people and is rude the staff there is not friendly anymore it is really not a nice club to go to anymore I will say this when Shannon was manager and she ran thing it was a lot different and people were friendly to members and the club was a lot cleaner when Ruben was there he would make sure to welcome people like Shannon would this club is very unwelcome by manao and staff and not clean it is sad

Came for the showers. Water wasn’t draining so I was standing in disgusting ankle deep questionable water. Water oscillated between Luke warm and frigid cold. Floors smelled of pee. Lights flickering above toilets won’t be back for a workout or a shower unless it’s dire, will update review if things are better god forbid I have to come back to this one.

Jeanne is the best front desk at 43rd and Cactus location. I’ve moved from Vasa to Planet and she has made me feel lovingly welcomed every night I come for my work-out sessions. She keeps the place nice and clean and stays on top of all cleaning stations being stocked and well organized for gym members. Soooo I guess I shouldn't try to hide my favorite west valley PF. Place is clean and UPdated! Tiny things like plate stacking weight holders being a smaller diameter so it's easier to throw on. To new versions of equipment that have definitely been engineered with better 'user experience' in mind, (yes that's LifeFitness equipment doing that part.. but this PF still has it). Like all PF large open air space with tons of cardio and whatnot.

Considering joining back up with PF so I stopped in this location last evening. GG answered all my questions and had a really good rapport! I was really happy about the visit especially since I checked out another gym in the area (rhymes with masa :) and had a horrible experience with staff. A club manager at this new location who was a white female that was transferred from another planet fitness located on 55th ave and bell road, specifically targeted me in the middle of my workout to let me know that I need to have my tiny bag placed in the locker (which has signs that says “not responsible if items are stolen.”) after she seen me walking around with my bag for about an hour. I will definitely not have my belongings in my vehicle where I know there’s a high crime rate of vehicle burglary in the area. It should be noted that there were other patrons who had their bags on the gym floor that were bigger than mine who she never talked to. I felt targeted for my skin color. I have been a member for years and never felt so insulted. It ruined my workout and I left immediately.

This location is not open at 4 am but you don't know this unless you show up and find them closed. The recording and the website both say they do but they don't open until 5. In my experience, unfortunately, the club managers don't stick around long enough to get these issues resolved. Why would you put the responsibility of operational issues on a customer? PF corporate should be the ones to reach out to your club managers and get this issue resolved. Again, this is the type of response that gets this location a one star. The reply to me as a customer should be; Thank you Mr.Hall for letting us know. We value your feedback and we will coordinate to ensure our systems are working and appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. Additionally, I did call and they couldn't care less. I will say I am impressed that there is a reply to this post, yet underwhelmed by what was communicated.
