I don't usually give reviews but This club deserves it. Its very clean, friendly, and overall amazing!. Jorge, Kiyoko, Shannon made my experience 10 time better!. I was welcomed in by the guy name Jorge and i was also welcomed in by the lady named Kiyoko at the front desk. The manager Shannon was very helpful she offered a tour and i loved it. The gym was clean the bathrooms were great the atmosphere was awesome. I've been to other Planet fitness but this one caught my eye. The manager explained and answered all my questions and guided me thru the prices greatly. And during the mean time i saw Jorge and Kiyoko working hard and you can tell how much they care about us customers. I haven't met anyone there yet but so far the ones who i met there were amazing so i bet everyone who works there are awesome too. But overall employees the manager the gym everything was an amazing experience and I'm willing to put the word out to my friends and family cause i felt comfortable when i came in. You guys are amazing and ill come back after my sign up when i think about it but so far I'm interested!.

Management here will give you insane amounts of attitude at 8:30 am. Shannon treats you with no respect and has a power trip. Said she was gonna kick me out for just explaining to her she’s having a power trip so she kicked me out of the location. I hadn’t cussed or been belligerent until after she was disrespectful and hen proceeded to kick me out of the gym before I could even workout. The whole issue was I didn’t have a black card for this location. Which is literally a extra $10 I said I’d pay but she didn’t need to walk into the men’s locker room and make everyone feel uncomfortable to come get me just so she can give me attitude and kick me out when I said I’d pay for the black card, pretty stupid if you ask me, now she says she’s gonna try and block me from planet fitness so I’d definitely think about firing this lady

The same equipment breaks always. Then it is broken, for more then 6 weeks. Using equipment to get in shape is the key. However, if that said equipment is not available due to breaking often, most would replace it, NOT CONTINUE TO SERVICE IT.
The staff do what they can, and for the most part are on our side about how this inconvenience is starting to become a problem.
So much so, I have asked the process to end my membership with planet fitness. There is no point going to another location just to use equipment that is constantly broken at another. That is what you call INCONVENIENCE.

I’ve just moved to the Phoenix area but have used Planet Fitness from Miami to Fargo on the East Coast and this one is a gem…
On top of being super clean and being loaded with equipment, they have that great vibe and welcoming feeling when you’re there. Kiyoko started my day with her very pleasant attitude, Jorge was staying busy cleaning the restroom along with offering morning cheer. I was so impressed I mentioned it to management and Shannon showed great pride in her team who she seems very proud of.
This is my new gym and my new jam, thank you for being such a welcoming establishment…

So stupid that you close at 10 pm and got rid of the free perks. No more pizza. No more bagels. Not even open 24 hours. Slap in the face to the customers. - it’s always super clean
- the staff is ALWAYS the best and super nice
- the equipment is well maintained and if something is broke it gets fixed ASAP
- all brand new cardio machines in the last year
- plenty of parking
- great hours

The only thing I wish they had were some additional chest press machines (on back where you can add weights). I’ve seen them at other clubs, and in the tv commercials, but I’d love for this location to get one.

More than 3 weeks without maintenance, no soap at showers, dirty walls, curtains, floors. Whole locker rooms are dirty including restrooms walls. “New crew” are spending more time talking in stead checking the club. LAST MANAGER WERE THE ONE ONLY ONE THAT REALLY CARED ABOUT THE CLUB. WHAT SHAME.

I’ve gone to planet fitnesses across the country. This one specifically, I’ve gone to on and off for the past 3 years. The facility is fine; my bad review isn’t about the facility. It’s about the security management company that’s contracted for this lot. There is a gym, a food city grocery store and a wave max laundry mat in the same parking lot, as well as goodwill, a vape shop and a number of restaurants. I say that to say— we sometimes go to the gym, and then do our laundry, while grabbing food. We’ll be in the parking lot for a few hours, which is normal for the businesses available. However, I’ve had run ins with the security here and on bell rd for “loitering”, while we are actively using the businesses in the lot. Not only that, but I came out to my vehicle with a broken windshield tonight, along with cops telling me to leave. After the cops left (because my fiance was in the gym still and I told them I’d leave once she comes out), the security employee decided to then come back up to my van, tell me he has more jurisdiction over the parking lot than police do, that he’s been “monitoring us for 3 hours” and that we “didn’t go into food city or planet fitnesses”. As he’s harassing me and calling me a liar/cussing, my fiance came out of the gym. We have receipts from food city and our check ins at PF would back up that we went into the gym. This is disgusting behavior from both property management and security. Tell us to leave if you want but don’t call me a liar, don’t yell at me and cuss, and don’t vandalize my vehicle.

I have lived all over the US and this Planet Fitness is top 3 of the biggest, cleanest and has the most engaging employees. There is lots of parking, a big lobby entrance and many options for cardio. The black card area is THE nicest I have seen..to date. One of the best perks is when you travel, or move around a lot, you can go to any Planet Fitness anywhere and through the app even do your own transfer. Different pricing options for those on a budget, or someone like me who likes all the extras.

I’ve been to a number of PF’s nationally, but so glad to call Piestewa Peak my home gym. Best layout (by a mile), great staff, and very clean. I never have problems jumping on equipment. And the spa area—nailed it. Even my hubby, a decades-long LT Fitness junky, was wowed. Piestewa for the gold.

They recently hired a bunch of women so I am noticing the women’s restroom has stepped up a whole other notch in cleanliness! They’re always helpful, the location is really clean! Showers are impeccable compared to some others. They also have two TBE in spas so never too hot from over use! Love the parking here and how close it is off the interstate

Place is nice people there are great but it lacks a couple things 1. Doesn't have a place to deadlift if there is I don't see it. 2.cant do power cleans bc the bench/ squat area doesn't have the ability to do power clean.3 and last the old open and close times were good bc it closed at 12:00 am and didn't open till 2:00 am which was really good bc I used to use the gym to give me time to relax when I couldn't sleep 😮‍💨

We just relocated from another state and needed to update/transfer our PF membership. Scott was very, very, very helpful and made a good first impression for us as new members to this gym. Maya was not as helpful as an employee and especially to Scott as he is a newer employee. Hopefully you will appreciate Scott's professionalism and maturity! I come every day to this club find empty paper and soap dispensers, dirty floors at lockers abandoned clothes on showers, clogged drains in showers…… WHAT IS MANAGER MANNING?? Staff is always wasting time talking even manager. Only two ladies are responsable and hard working in this club. The rest is always on the counter eating & talking. MACHINES ARE IN BAD CONDITION. There’s treadmills I reported months ago and I think they wont do anything about it.

I wont change my location, YOU BETTER HIRE PEOPLE THAT REALLY WANTS TO WORK.

Under new, terrible ownership. Staff themselves has always been incredible, the members are friendly and sociable. The knock is this gym’s refusal to fix their machines and they’ve moved Al the wipe stations, making them harder to get to. No point to even go if the machines don’t work and you can’t wipe down the ones you CAN get to. Customer service reached out and stated I needed to complain to the staff in order to get the equipment fixed, as if they don’t see it and report it already? It’s not “standard” to fix gym equipment here? It’s almost as if this gym is intentionally putting pressure on members to quit now and I’m currently gym shopping. I’ll be leaving after 1.5 years.

It's nice, but if you are a body builder looking for a sense of community and standard body building equipment like a flat bench, incline bench, decline bench, power rack and free-weight barbells, then this is not the place for you. All their barbells are on Smith machines 😯 If you are looking to be anonymous and don't need any of that stuff, this is probably a great place for you and it's super cheap.

Never been to a planet fitness until recently. I was surprised with this place! It's a great gym that's big, clean, has lots of equipment and well spread out! Worked out here several times and it hasn't been overly packed which is unlike other gyms. They have a few different areas such as a stretching area, 30 min workout section, cardio equipment, free weights, machines, etc. They even have tanning! Great place to work out at, highly recommend.

The staff and facility are amazing, including being superbly clean! My only issue is a billing problem with my annual membership (which renewed right around when I decided to cancel). They insist on billing me for it despite me canceling my overall membership. There was absolutely no notification or reminder of any kind regarding this renewal or their policy. It lacks customer courtesy and service. Not to mention the whole thing is very underhanded. It's super disappointing as every other element of my experience has been great.

This is hands down the nicest Planet Fitness I've ever been in! When I walked in the door, John greeted me and told me where everything was and was very very helpful! They offer lockers that have combinations in case you forgot a lock. travel all around the country in a van. I bought my membership for the showers.
