By far, the best Planet Fitness location in the 30 states ive been to! Now granted, I mostly go for the showers because im on the road 100% of the time, but WOW! This place is HUGE! The showers are walk-in with dressing room attached! The shower head rains from the ceiling! I was in heaven!!! Thank you as you put other locations to shame!!

I've been coming here since they built it. Everybody's great. It's clean, but the guy that's at the counter again this morning. The big huff puffing and deep breaths. Because you ask him to turn on the machine after checking me in, . Has to put down his phone. You say please and thank you. He looks at you and rolls his eyes. Just a suggestion - can this Bell Road planet fitness in the morning turn on the big fans in the elliptical / treadmill station? It’s really hot and I see a lot people sweating buckets. That elliptical back area by the window specifically is really hot and I’m sweating a lot; if this planet fitness can please turn the AC lower that’ll be optimal. The one I usually go to in Peoria is really cooling, ventilated, and the fans are always on.

The Bellair Planet Fitness is always clean and a calm environment for a workout. I appreciate that it is not noisy with blaring music. The lounge is nice to go into after a workout to relax and get a massage from the hydro machines or the Swedish massage chairs. I have never felt judged at Planet Fitness.

I was a black card member and between renewing I was forced to be my wife's guest. Our schedules conflict so we can't always be at the gym together. The black card membership allows a guest pass but does not state the guest and member have to both be present. If they have to be present why is the guest told to download the app for acess Seems some are ok with it some are not. This one refused to allow me access without the black card member and the young lady working the front desk apologized with zero empathy for the situation. The 1 Star review is for lack of information as to the regulation. There are clear and concise rules for the guest pass on the app that do not state the black card member has to be present when the guest is using their pass. This caused a major inconvenience as I use the gym for mental health and was told I could not use it without the black card member. I don't have an issue with that but at least take the time to update th rules listed as that is the source for new guests to know. I love these gyms and usually have no complaints about their policies or workers but this young lady should have shown a little more empathy for something that is not listed to anyone but them. The employee came off as rude at the least.

I just watched two teen girls put their bare feet in here to do a leg exercise, and then walk away without wiping them down. This is one of the best clubs in the area. It is extremely clean. You always see staff tidying something. Everybody at the front desk has been very nice (except one gentleman that seems annoyed if you arrive in an RV - but not worth demoting a star for). I work out for as short or as long as I like. The other clients are friendly. Overall, a good experience - especially for someone just getting back to the gym after years and years away.

I then was greeted by a young man named Michael on graveyard.All I can say is wow. This guy goes out of his way to make everybody feel comfortable and welcomed. I drive.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and just within the last couple months I feel like it’s just gone down. The new cable machines are cheap. My main complaint is the cleanliness. There’s been new management that’s come in within the last month or so and the gym is not being as kept up as it previously was. The bathrooms are always dirty and the staff just isn’t on the floor as much anymore keeping things clean and stocked. The previous management and employees where so friendly would walk around and talk to the members it was such a friendly environment. There’s been a pretty obvious switch up in the demeanor of the employees and new management and it’s just not as welcoming.

I pay my monthly fees to have access to work out during business hours. To be turned away from working out just because it’s “30 mins before close” is unacceptable!!! The gym was okay before they changed all the equipment out with cheap new stuff. The cables are already broken and its only been two months and when you use them the whole cable stand shakes because no-one screwed them into the ground. If any place requests a driver's license (tied to your SSN) or social security number, I'd strongly suggest you lock your social security number before signing a contract, it takes two minutes to lock your SSN, even if you don't understand why or what bond they are posting with the State department LOCK YOUR SSN.... Notice the word MAYBE, do you think a large corporation like this would make a mistake and separate this word? in this context, it's asking can they post a BOND and since you are unaware of what's going on, you give your tacit agreement... What would really blow your mind is if you understood in this contract, your three year membership is paid for once you signed and then they turn around and still debit your bank account every month... People need to understand contract. When we sign without understanding, we acquiesce (agree with everything in the contract) and they are not bound to tell you for your lack of understanding, that is legal. But no one at the gym level understands contract either, that's corporate level and to be more specific (CFO)

... This is how they can afford such ridiculous start up and monthly rates because this BOND is turned into a Security... This has destroyed small gym businesses who started from the ground up and only debit your account... When you fully understand this contract, yes, they are making money not only from your hard earned money, but also off your signature attached with your SSN.

Update: SSN is now acquired by full name and birthdate, it's highly unlikely there is a person born in your state with the same name on the same day... These corporations 😂

Perfect example of a failing business. Can't pay its bills and turning away from its core business. The geniuses from corporate decided new equipment wasn't good enough so they brought in a ton of inferior equipment. It's already breaking down. It's now a dangerously over crowded, disorganized, poorly lit storage facility with almost no room left for floor work. The isles are gone. Blocked by excess equipment and trash cans. It's clear that disabled people like me are no longer welcome there.

There are signs are everywhere with passive-agressive language (threats) on them and everyone tries to abide by the vague messaging contained within them. It's honestly pretty odd. The short stocky guy with glasses at the desk is incredibly rude. I feel like I’m inconveniencing him when he checks me in. His communication skills are just as weak as his customer service skills. Mumbling every word, I have to keep asking him to repeat himself. I bought a $3 item from the desk and gave him a $20. Irritated by that he asked me if I have anything smaller than a $20…lol…as I peer into his cash till and see plenty of all denominations. Rude and slow and uninterested he seems every time. Is it bc I’m an older woman, bc I’m white, or bc I’m not ripped and have a 6 pack? I’m actually a Desert Storm Veteran and have seen more than a thing or two in my life. The facility and staff were great, always friendly and I like how there are three parking spots up front for military veterans. However, When I found out about the Planet Fitness gender identity policy, I had to cancel my membership to stand in solidarity with biological women. Planet Fitness seemingly puts gender identity in higher regard than the safety and comfort of biological women. This could be dangerous. The planet Fitness policy makers may be judgement free, but they are also free of common sense. If PF is going to allow biological males in women's locker rooms, then just have one big locker room for all to share. No need in having separate locker rooms. Clarification: I did not experience or see this at the Bellair location, it was an incident at a location in Alaska, but since PF is publicly traded, I assume this is a corporate policy.

Brought my youngest son to workout and they played nothing but hardcore rap music. It sounded like a nightclub downtown. I requested that they change the music but it never happened. It was extremely unenjoyable to workout without ear buds! There was dirt and hair that was left on the machines for weeks so they don’t clean very much either. This is not only one of the worst gyms I’ve ever been to, but one of the staff members named Barry has you sign documents and then tells you that you didn’t. Then stalks you in the gym while you workout and tells you you have to come sign them again or we can’t workout. This is even worse I have a plan through my work and made it seem like a inconvenience to get me set up so I had to sign up my high school student daughter to be her guest! I have a plan that allows me to go to over 9,000 different clubs all over the country and I’ve used it plenty of times in multiple states. I’m so disgusted with the way this club has handled things that this is the first time I’ve ever written a review like this. I do not look forward to walking into this club, but I only do it for my daughter. I’ve never in all the years I’ve been to eos had this problem.

This Planet Fitness is by far the best location I have ever been to! It is very spacious with plenty of equipment and machines. Even during the busiest hours there is something available for you to use for whatever you are exercising that day. It is also an extremely clean gym with minimal wear and tear on the equipment. One of the cleanest clubs I've been too. Been a member for a few years now, I've always been impressed by the professionalism of the staff.

Recently though, the music has been really loud. It's a bit overbearing but this has been one of the best kept gyms I've been to

This is not a good Planet Fitness for vanlifers. In the short time I was here, I was harassed about my dogs and then later for loitering, even after I had made it clear I was there to use the gym and would be going in shortly. The staff threatened to call the police. If you’re a traveler or someone who travels with dogs go somewhere else. The staff and community in general are not friendly. I’ve traveled for years and this is the worst gym I’ve been to.

I love this gym! I can always find a machine, people are very friendly, equipment is top notch and clean. I love working out here. No judgement rings true.
