Worst pf location I've been to. To start the employees are never at the desk to assist with anything. And when they are, they are useless. They allow people to hog machines and entire work out areas and did nothing when I brought it to their attention. This happens regularly, so I just decided to work out elsewhere.

Trash on the floor, ripped up massage chairs. The cryo bed is out of service as well. And I don't think I saw the two staff members smile at all. There was a guy when I walked in who barely looked up when I scanned my phone. The girl that replaced him when he left had her face and her phone the entire time. No employees walked around once to vacuum call my wife anything down or check on the building. This is a total different vibe than the Planet Fitness in Peoria. I wish I could post pictures. This is between 11:30 and 1:00 on Sunday September 14th

This was my first time visiting this location. It is huge and states it is 24 hours open. The customer service is good. There is a wait for machines because this is a busy gym. There are no trash cans located by the door when walking out, which is inconvenient when leaving because I have to go in the opposite direction of the door to get to a trash can. Other than that, I recommend this location.

Went completely downhill. Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, rarely keep papertowels stocked, toilet paper doesnt get refilled or cleaned. The answer cant be lack of female staff either because there are females working who aren’t regularly stocking or cleaning the bathrooms. You’ll see the same gross toilet paper on the floor from the previous day. They’re even using reusable cloths to wipe down machines that look disgusting. These are even being used in the bathrooms. This place lack cleanliness all around. No longer a clean gym to workout at. When PF sends member surveys on how they’re doing and you’re honest, nothing comes from it.

Where do I begin! Who ever gives them 4 or 5 stars is lying 🤥. Gym is disgusting and needs hight maintenance, staff is super rude and unfriendly, always on cell,eating at front desk, ignoring you even when not wearing headphones. Sometimes not even there. Bathroom are the worst,showers leaving water,tile falling and shower curtains super dirty full of hair. Paper towels always missing or on floor with water bottles on the floor.only convenient because close to home,but will be changing me and my family to other cleaner one

Not sure what happened to this gym. Used to be great: friendly, hard working staff, clean locker rooms and regular enforcement of gym rules, but over the last 60-90 days that is no longer the case. From what I can tell the Manager who was wonderful left and most of his conscientious staff went with him. Now when you walk in the door no one greets you, they have the scanning device out front and expect you to scan yourself in and if it doesn't work (which is usually the case), they act like you're asking for a kidney if you ask for assistance. Those working behind the desk are too busy with their nose in files and folders to even notice that you are there, let alone say hello or welcome you into the gym. The men's locker room is consistently a mess with toiler paper everywhere. Club members walk around the gym (free weights, machines and cardio) talking on their cell phones, usually on speaker phone, and/or listening to music/videos also on speaker phone the entire time they are working out. If this gym wasn't so close to my home I would stop going here, but it's just too convenient. They need to bring Gretchen in from the Peoria South Planet Fitness and whip this place into shape. So disappointing.

The black card area is super cold AC has to be on 60°, so if planning on staying awhile bring long sleeve and pants. Front desk staff wonders alot so make sure you stay sitting up front. I went during peak time 4p on a Tuesday so not sure what that was about

While this gym offers the filthiest locker rooms
Ive ever witnessed, it should be noted that the employees are the kindest and most helpful of the 6-8 planet fitness locations I visited.

The disabled shower was appalling!! The shower curtain has greenish black mold all over it causing the curtain to stick to itself. The longest strip of mold is at least 18-24” long. The shower bench was broken on one side such that it is not resting on the wall but on the floor! It’s unusable!! The attachment for the shower head is also broken and hanging (it also leaks).

Disabled accessible amenities are not properly labeled. Clothing, trash etc litters the floor of every toilet stall, shower and changing area.

The most absurd was the placement of the Men’s locker/Women’s locker signage. Signs were placed AFTER you pass the entrances. For
sighted people it’s not a big issue but for unsighted patrons you’d have to feel all over the wall until realizing the sign wasn’t there, then pass the entrance and begin a new search. For the mens locker the sign is placed in an area to the right (after) the entrance next to a pony wall separating the locker room entrance from a workout area. This signage is nearly invisible to sighted people. I told staff the signs needed to be BEFORE you get to the locker room entrance (basic common sense).

I reported all of these issues several times over two weeks and NO effort was made to correct.

Typical of all Planet Fitness locations is the disregard for cleanliness or rehabilitation of defective equipment.

Also, be aware lots of parking lot activity, very little light.

Very convenient and price effective. I felt it was enough for my needs, just to keep myself trim and fit.

I appreciate how easy it is to get in and out of the facility, and the equipment is in good condition, which makes for a positive workout experience. However, I didn’t give it a perfect score because there are a few areas that need improvement. The paper towels often run out, and the mirrors don’t seem to be cleaned regularly. At the 24-hour locations, the equipment isn’t always put away after overnight use, and the restrooms frequently run out of toilet paper. What’s most frustrating is that the employees seem to have plenty of time on their hands but don’t seem to care enough to handle these easy fixes. Addressing these issues would make the experience much better.

I had one of the best visits to PF yesterday.
I go there to do my PT exercises. I noticed signage of some of their black card amenities and asked about them. There is one that I think is called the Healing pod. You lay down on it and there's a screen above and another screen with optional prompts for: visual background, meditations, breathwork, scents and heat. I was SO relaxed after 15 minutes. As well, I tried the new machine called, Cryo (something). It offers heat and or cold, along with pressure massage for the legs. Wonderful!
Planet Fitness has different sections of workout equipment and plenty of space. The locker room and shower is decent too.

This place sucks. They claim to not have any manager on duty on the weekends?? I don’t even know how that’s allowed. The staff either doesn’t know how or chooses to not do their jobs. Everytime I come in it is clean and the workers are friendly. The blackcard is a great place to relax on your days off. I do however wish they had a hack squat machine since it’s one of the most referred piece of equipment from athletes that I follow. I also wish they were 24hrs on the weekends. These are my days off and since I work a night shift it’s hard for me to adjust my sleep schedule to go into the gym with energy. Was thinking about getting a second membership to EOS but Crunch offers everything I’m missing plus Planets Blackcard area. We’ll have to see if Crunch still has poor management though.

JUNE 24TH, 2024: I live in Glendale and this Phoenix location is my Home Gym. I travel to Los Angeles 2-3 times per month. As a result I visit many Planet Fitness locations in between Phienix and Los Angeles. It's sad to report that this Gym is by far the least kept up. The staff are always just loitering talking amongst themselves. The men's restrooms and showers are generally dirty and smelly. The equipment is not cared for and the water station has been inoperable for the last 5 days but it's regularly either turned off on purpose or needs replacing. I've been on the verge of calling the Health Department and each day I visit I'm much closer! It's truelly disappointing.

Muy pocas máquinas y para colmo dañadas las demás .la fuente de agua se daña frecuentemente , tienen una solamente para todo el gimnasio. Y siendo un lugar donde las personas ocupan mantenerse hidratadas.
Me pidieron bajar la aplicación para escanear mi entrada porque les daba pereza dejarme entrar solo con mi número de teléfono. (Ángel) Y cuando ya me actualizó con el código para entrar , resulta que no sirve el escáner y tengo que firmar mi entrada en una libreta
Pago membresia black y las camas de masaje no sirven o no hay monedas para usarlas .
Cerraron una semana según para renovar y todo está igual o peor.

More than a year attending this beautiful gym chain where I have been able to find my best shape, the best I've had in my whole life, excellent atmosphere, great variety of machines, I never had help from a trainer but by youtube or instagram I managed to get the routines I follow every time I come to the gym, however I have seen that there are trainers that give you tours or explain how to use some machines if you have doubts, it's just a matter of coming in their available schedules. definitely I recommend you to come here ♥️

I recently joined Planet Fitness to help me reach my goal. Was very unwelcoming, was told to join online and come back to fill out paperwork and take a picture no tour given. I asked if they had a personal trainer and was told yes and he wil be there from 4 to 11. I went back, no tour - I will fumble around and find out what's there. I was supposed to take a picture, but one told the camera doesn't work and the other person the other computer, said he was busy on it and would need to come back later. I then was told they do not have a trainer as of yet, maybe in 2 weeks. This is not a good impression, more so because I don't know what would be the best work out for me. Thinking about canceling and going to Eos.

was my first time at planet fitness and was very excited to start with my friend! walking in was a great experience till this one employee gave us rude energy passing by , we completely ignored it till the end of our visit ! as we were walking out we accidentally tried going out a door but apparently it was locked for the night so as this previous rude employee says “u can see its block off for a reason “ in a very rude tone ! someone with that attitude should not be working in a gym !

I enjoyed working out at Planet Fitness West Phoenix location for some time, but I often had difficulty getting instruction on the proper use of some of the machinery on the west side of the building, some of the machinery in the weights section, or east side of the building, was always busy and I couldn't get to use them due to being restricted on the personal time allotted to get my workout completed. I wish there had been more of those. I'd pass through the usually sparsely populated exercise bikes and conveyors section to get over there and would meet a crowd waiting to use the very few equipment in that corner. Eventually, I stopped coming because I could never get to use the specific equipment. These were equipment that I had used in Physical therapy after an incident that left me injured. After my PT ended, I wanted to continue to work out using the same types of equipment. Anyhow, I had stopped coming but left my membership running. That turned into months of paying for the black card monthly and wasting my money since I wasn't any longer attending the membership. So, I recently turned in a letter to end my membership. The location was always very clean, and seldom busy except in the one section where there were too few equipment to meet the demand when I was there.

Sadly I have to say, I don’t enjoy coming to this location, I go originally to the Avondale location, that’s where I reside, but for some reason, I decided to come all the way here to check things out, the facility is very big and with lots of space, lots of machines, etc. most of the time is full with people and all, but some of the employees have an attitude, specially one with tinted blonde hair, when I greet him at the entrance he doesn’t respond and little things like that, I have experience in customer service and I hate when the things don’t go according to what is normal, so just for that all the good stuff is not good anymore, the guys on the Avondale location most of them are very nice, I’m sticking to that place instead, I’m not asking for favors, I pay to be treated in a nice way.

The greeting was good then I went to use the locker room area. There was no toilet paper. Dirty socks on floor. Used Toilet paper in stalls. Changing areas were dirty aswell. I had to leave bc who would want to shower in that. Then Went to speak with the manager. She had no sympathy no care about my experience. No apology. Well this place is my gym that I goto, when my body tells me to get up, and start moving. I recently had surgery on the bottom of my R-Foot. So it’s been a while since I was even able to walk without some assistance. So with age being a factor to I am differently on my mission. I really enjoy my workouts on my time, and most importantly when I feel like it. Open 24 hours 7 days a week
So if you are thinking about joining a gym, I think you would really enjoy going Planet Fitness’s. They works with your health insurance, you may not have to pay a dime. Just call your health insurance company,ask them if you have coverage for Wellness Care. You need to

I like planet fitness and their locations but as it a July 3rd, on their app, it says this location closes July 4th at 4pm but several cars including myself arrived to find the doors locked despite all the televisions and lights on and no one to answer the phone.
